The Foe list removes the posts of a Foe from your view, like this.
Use it, and please stop provoking Siren back whenever she starts doing her troll thing.

Re: A Bag of feelings thread.
That looks cool, will have to try it, thanks.
And yes, I understand the position now - its okay for people to insult you, but if they do, it’s not okay for you to insult them back. I’m already adhering to this policy by ignoring Lobo’s bizarre earlier post.
I’m happy enough with my new ignore button, so don’t worry, I won’t be posting again.

It's not okay for someone to insult you. It's also not okay to insult them in return and escalate the situation. That only leads to even more hurt feelings and a worse situation then before.

Did you think I was insulting you when I said 'U Gay'?
Nah that's not an insult.
You thinking that BM was encouraging trolling when she was trying to arrange and encourage something really nice is the real insult here. And that's not sarcasm.
You can follow your rule and not 'insult' me back btw.

Re: A Bag of feelings thread.
Well, no, that's obviously not what I was saying.
I wanted to leave this thread alone, but Lobo's post is so provocatively misguided. It's like you were trying to embody everything that is wrong with this forum in a few short sentences.
I wasn't attacking Bluemouse at all. If you must have it explained to you (and it pains me to do this), I was in fact being critical of the first post in this thread by putting it in its proper context. I.e. that complaining about a lack of community spirit, whist simultaneuosly pissing on attempts to foster community spirit, is a fairly hypocritical position to take. But apparently that's a controversial thing to say, so pretend I didn't write that last sentence.
I suppose the good news is, Blue and Alex needn't have worried about my post creating further response from Siren - it was apparently far too subtle for its true meaning to be understood. So we all dodged a bullet on that one. Moving on...
Haha, wow. I take it that you are boasting that you can think of better insults than "gay". To be honest, I don't think that was ever in doubt. Of course, if you really don't think that "gay" is an insult, you must have had an extremely progressive education and/or never used the internet. Either way, well done you.
What's really telling here, is that you refer to the 'no baseless insults' idea as "your" rule - you either think it's a novel introduction, or don't think it applies to everyone equally. Harrier mentioned earlier that posting in the discussion forum is "a pain" - is that really any surprise when the regulars act like this? An entitled clique who can hold people to a set of standards that they don't bother to follow themselves?
In this case, of course, the self-referencing nature of this place seems to have backfired pretty throroughly - communicating mainly through snark and emoticons, it's becoming apparent that no-one actually understands half of what's being said. Lobo, the way you instantly rushed to defend the threat to the honour of Bluemouse was lovely, but maybe you should have checked to see if there actually was a threat, first.
But looking on the bright side, it does mean that most of the unpleasantness in this forum is likely down to a complete lack of comprehension, rather than the people taking part being dicks. Which ends this post on a positive, I guess?

As you see from the answers, it´s just a windmill. Of course, you could get angry, annoyed or try to argue, but the mill won´t stop. You can rest easy though, knowing that you at least tried.
