Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I know it probably costs them a lot of money to do it, but I would love it if they ran more shows overseas in the U.K. or Australia.
Hell, even just Canada.
out of country crowds are always louder and better then the usual U.S crowds.

Reminds me of the crowd when Brock Lesnar returned, smarks from all over the world in the crowd. Cena getting booed so hard that I really felt a little bit sorry for him, and then Brock Lesnars entrance as a heel, cheers all over the place and even more cheers after the F5.^^

I think DA Big Guy is a red herring unless they are adding a 6th member, or Dolph is actually ded. Oiled is obviously going to be the final member of Team Cener

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Great Khali and Brad Maddox now gone as it looks, maybe more releases incoming?
I think of David Otunga, Curtis Axel, Zack Ryder, Justin Gabriel(despite his role in NXT).

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
awww, I loved Brad Maddox. Why couldn't he have been the analyst instead of A-Ry?
They haven't released poopy pants yet o.O? I wish they'd use him more >.< Him and Brad Maddox could have been a super tool brigade.
And, i highly doubt they'll get rid of Axel. wwe does love them some legacies. And, as long as Ryder's internet show is still going (or w/e it is,I haven't seen it) then they'll keep him around and have him do house shows and Network stuff like Main Event.
Still not sure about Gabriel though but hey, it looks as if spending some time in NXT has gotten Tyson Kidd back in the spot light. He got a title shot after only two appearances from a long absence on the cable shows and that triple threat match with Cesaro and Ziggler on SD was pretty good. Even though he's still a tool.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Actually current reports are that Maddox is still on pay roll, their just trying to sell the angle where he was fired by moving him to the alumni section.
Khali is legit gone though, thankfully. What a waste of TV space he was.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Oh, c'mon. Khali wasn't a waste of space, they just misutilized him. When he first showed up they had good angles with him. Then after his title run ended and the punjabi pit matches went out of style the only thing he was good for was jobbing to rising stars or being the butt of jokes or other such tomfoolery.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Kane is a better wrestler on his worst day than Khali on his best, the clothesline from the top rope, sideway slam or the running deep drop kick is better than anything Khali could do. I understand him being an attraction, but the days of freaks of nature are over if they are not as good as Big Show who is actually a really, really decent wrestler for a guy his size and age. You can be big and good in the ring, like Luke Harper, Rusev or Big E, so his spot is basically taken.
Same as with Khali goes for Mark Henry, who was not that good to begin with, but was great as a heel champion so gets a pass from many people.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I DO agree with you. Khali not being able to really speak English well probably also helped to do him in.some people can get away with crappy wrestling if they have good mic skills. And I never said Kane couldn't wrestle, just that he's sort of being fodderized like Khali was towards the end. Though I am pretty sure Kane will be with that company until HE wants to stop or his body can't go.
And at least mark Henry has SOME background. Even if it's not in wrestling, it's athletic. The dude might not be the best around but he also still does pretty good.
I still think he's better than SOME people who I don't like who i think can't really wrestle and have terrible mic skills and get heat for no real reason and get pushed because they are a legacy and who shall remain nameless. >.>
Anyway, I think there could have been a spot for Khali. He could have had another good heel run if he had gotten in with a stable or even had another heel manager. Hell, the stuff with Jinder Mahal and Khali, I actually LIKED.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
The Mahal Khali stuff was indeed a good idea, about the only time that Jinder Mahal was kind of interesting. And with all good ideas, it was quickly dropped by WWE and turned into a big guy dancing around with a girl that had a fart gimmick right before teaming with Khali, and another guy that turned from an Indian nobility guy into a dancing rock band guy.
You fail to generate ratings, you dance as punishment. Like Albert, aka A-Train, aka Prince Albert, aka Lord Tensai aka the dancing dinosaur. Like Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins. Or Santino.
A victory over Kane is as meaningless as a victory over Y2J. I admire both of them to want to help the new guys, but that welcome has a clear limit as it gets real old real fast. Nearly as fast as Big Show vs Cena got old(Can he even lift him? Sigh...). But give Kane some victories like in the last few weeks, and the interest will rise, at least from my side.
