I didn't find him attractive to begin with, but that headband suddenly made him so much less attractive. Like I just see some shabby 80's guy now. He should have Don Johnson hair.

Compared to Cena, he will still be good as the main face. With his weaker promo ability, he will surely not shower us with Star Wars promos or douse Cole with Barbeque sauce cause he will fail at it and make the scene look awkward. His move set is already better, and I guess he is not that involved in charity. Irish Cena has already failed, so it seems that it is not that easy to make a Cena copy at all.

And Cena CAN cut a promo. If he can do anything, he can do that. Plus his moveset might suck but he can wrestle.

Exactly. Cena can wrestle and talk, but rarely does, and is obviously willing to make a fool and person of hatred out of himself for the sake of the company. Reigns can not promo that good, so Vince will have to play it safe with him, give him easy material like a tough guy that is friendly to children, attractive to woman and a role model to men, but rarely speaks more than necessary. He is a rather good choice I guess when I have to choose between him, Miz or Ryback for the years after Cena if the WWE gets their will. Although I guess that Bryan will find his way to the top again, people obviously want to see him there. Of course WWE will give it a long fight and has to be dragged screaming and kicking to it, but will be forced to give in.

Sheamus is ok, a much better wrestler than people give him credit for, but will never be able to be a Cena like character with the horrible good natured bully gimmick he has right now. In the dark ages we probably all remember too well, undefeatable Sheamus forced me, a regular Smackdown viewer with a high treshold to pain and boredom in the main event, to not watch it.

I don't think I've ever not liked Shaemus myself. I could watch him smack sweaty man chests into oblivion with his forearm all day long. He's so dreamy~

If you have to do all that just to hide Roman's flaws, then I don't think it's worth it.

Rollins is a pretty good heel. If Bryan comes back and as long as Ambrose doesn't injure himself out of a career (which I see likely :< ) there's actually a pretty decent future for WWE.

I dunno, I personally think there is quite a lot of upside for what's there. They don't ALWAYS use what they have to the best of their ability but they don't always DON'T either.

However

As long as MOST fans just want to see a dude cock his fist and then punch a guy, Roman Reigns can stay shitty in perpetuum and have a steady paycheck and lots of accolades. :cookie

I will admit, if it was someone other than Roman Reigns (like Ryback), I probably WOULD like him.

Because while I love guys like Venom and Spider-Man, I'll always have a soft spot for guys like Juggernaut. There's just something great about dudes who just wanna punch other dudes.

Tried watching RAW last week, after not having watched it in AGES.

I don't think I have ever been so bored in my life.

Then I decided to just keep watching Japanese wrestling as I have for the past few months. I may only understand like half of the stuff, but It's at least fun.
