Far From Home

Veldaris asked him to explain the curse that he has, how he got it, how long he's had it, stuff like that. She does warn him "If I do take you to him and to do start 'feeding' on him I will make sure it's the last thing you do, got it?"

"Hey Lina, what brings you h, hm?" Lita noticed Jay was with her. She knew of Jay but hasn't really hung out with him before.

He explained the curse of the vampire and told her he had it for close to 275 years now, "I look way younger, but that's how old I am." He said, but he kept his eyes on that silver tipped bolt that was loaded into her crossbow.

Jay and Lina had eventually made it to somewhere Jay had not known or been to before. He didn't recongnize the girl either.... "H-Hello...." Besides that, he stayed pretty silent as she spoke to Lina. Jay starts to think where Veldaris is, and hoped she was alright.....

He goes on after thinking. "My name is Jay. What is yours?"

"And you say you think Jay might be able to help you? What makes you think that?" She didn't doubt what he was saying so far, but still wasn't convinced enough to have her take him to Jay just yet.

"Are you one of the guys that Lina manages?" Lita asked him. Lina then mentions to her what is going on, at least all that she knows at the moment. Lita thought about it for a moment. Should they stay and fight, or take Jay somewhere safer. She and Lina were thinking the same thing of where that safe place would be, or if not at the very least at who they would take him too.

"I don't know... I think maybe..." He shook his head, "It's a one in a million, I'm probably wrong." He shook his head and began to head for the door, but he cried out and fell to his knees as his wound reopened.

She noticed was was happening to him and decided to do what she could to threat the wound, while remaining cautious in case if he tried anything.

He sat down as she treated the wound, but winced, "I thought Jay might have been my brother, but I'm probably wrong." he winced again as she continued to treat his wound. The bleeding had finally stopped though.

"What makes you think that?" she asked him.

Jay smiles at Lita. "y-yeah..." He scratches the back of his head. "Lina manages me.....But, she doesnt do a good job at it." He tried to joke around. It was a bad joke in a bad situation, so Lina had every right to just smack the back of the lion's head. Jay sighed and looked around. He wondered just what Lita's home looked like. "S-So.....How do you and Lina know each other?"

"Well, I might have tasted some of his blood on the way to the forest. I know the blood of my brother when I taste it. But it may be a mistake." he winced again, "I was also lying about a cure. There is no cure except for a stake through the heart. Now can we go?"
