Blood in the Water: Syd w/ Allie Parker vs. Gemma Faraday

Syd was almost ignoring her opponent as she sent her down yet again. Her attention was more on the crowd, how they reacted to her, how they reviled her and yet were captivated by gruesome spectacle. They all watched to see what Syd would do next.

With an ugly sneer, she picked up Gemma's ankle. With quick, practiced movements, she stepped over the leg and picked up the other, and deftly folded Gemma's legs into a figure-four shape before falling on her back, using her own legs to forcefully hyper extend Gemma's knee.

She had had enough of Gemma's running around and her stupid flailing punches and her kicks. It was time to clip her wings and make her hurt.

Fumbling desperately, Gemma was trying to stave off the flow of blood from her face. From the cut in her cheek to the steady flow coming from the poor Brit's busted nose, Gemma felt like she was mostly trying to keep as much of the interior bits of her head from spilling out at ringside. All of this left her too preoccupied to really try and counter Syd's manipulation of her legs, however, and before the Brit knew it, she was caught in a perfectly executed figure-four leglock. "Noooo, nononono-" Gemma argued, right up until Syd fell to her back, cranking Gemma's legs hard in a devastating leglock.

"Nnnnyaaooooow!" Gemma cried out, fumbling, futilely trying to protect her knee. However, Gemma was keenly aware of what Syd was doing. This hold, every agonizing second of it, was crippling to Gemma's knees, making the high-flyer's powerful legs more and more useless. Between tightly clenched teeth and wincing eyes, Gemma struggled to keep her head in this match. She could hear the fans rallying to her cause, but at this point it almost seemed a bit too late. All Gemma could do at this point, it seemed, was hang tough, and hope to survive, as Syd tortured her legs.

Allie grinned brightly when Syd turned the tables and put Gemma in a hold that wasn't creepy or gross. She slapped the apron while she laughed obnoxiously at Gemma's plight.

"Lookater Syd! She's just soooooo tough! If she's too STUPID to tap out then she DESERVES to have her legs mangled. Just end her Syd. I don't ever want to have to LOOK at her ugly face AGAIN! Break those legs off or... whatever that hold does! Just HURT her!" Allie encouraged in her own way as she licked her lips and focused a smug leer at Gemma if she was stupid enough to look at Allie.

If Syd was trying to make Gemma hurt, she couldn't help but admit that she had succeeded. With her legs being twisted and bent against one another, Gemma could only try and hold strong against the submission attempt, and do her best to keep her head in the match. More than any amount of experience, more than any bit of pressure being forced on her legs, however, what kept Gemma from submitting was actually the taunts of Allie, from down at ringside. Gemma's fingers clenched hard, when Allie started talking shit about her tapping out. Really, Gemma was still trying to calm down from the horror of Syd's teeth tearing at her face. But the spunky Brit would be damned if she was going to let this orange-haired bimbo taunt her into giving up, now ...

With Syd twisting and torturing her legs, however, Gemma knew she had to get on top of things if she was going to have a prayer of holding out. Choking back moans of agony, Gemma tried to slide her back towards the edge of the ring, her arms extending out towards the ring ropes, hoping desperately that she could get a hold of the ropes and force Syd, by the rules, to finally let up on the agony she was inflicting on the young Brit's legs.

Syd delighted in the pain on Gemma's face, the hurt noises she made, the way she struggled to look tough despite her situation. She could tell that Allie's big mouth only made Gemma defy her, but that was only going to make it sweeter when she finally broke.

She tilted her head curiously while she watched Gemma try to stretch for the ropes and inch her way toward safety. It was almost cute. They were far enough away from the ropes that Syd was in no big hurry, but she pushed herself up on her hands and lifted her hips off the mat, putting even more pressure in Gemma's knee. While the Brit tried desperately to cover the many inches between her and the ropes, Syd pulled the other way, trying to walk on her hands and drag them farther away.

What a fun game it was! Like tug of war, except instead of having to reach the other side, Syd won when Gemma broke.

Gemma was taking deep, gasping breaths, as she felt Syd's legs clamp down on her, threatening to separate her knee clear from the leg. Throughout the entire night, between her matches against Kira and Syd, the Brit had taken a brutal beating, mostly focused on her head, shoulders and spine. Now, however, it seemed like Syd was crying to actually break her down, from head to toe.

Gemma could see Syd looking down at her with sadistic amusement. Which only caused the Brit's blood to boil a bit more, at the feeling of being toyed with. Which renewed committment to reaching for those damned ropes, Gemma worked through the pain to stretch her spine and arms as far as she could towards the ropes, unable to see how much distance she actually had to cover, through her tears. When Gemma felt the sudden increase in pressure on her knee, and her entire body being dragged back to where she started, however, Gemma collapsed. Head and shoulders slumped flat to the mat, she stared wide-and-wet eyed at the arena lights, realizing she had no hopes of forcing the ropebreak.

Gemma had strong legs, and a stronger desire not to have to eat another loss, tonight. Not in front of these fans, not in front of that snotty little slag, Allie, and certainly not in front of a bloodthirsty sadist like Syd. Waving off the ref girl hovering over her, asking if Gemma wanted to give her submission, the steampunker rolled off of onto her aching shoulders, turning her body to the side. Shining with sweat and tears, blood on her face, Gemma knew full-well that getting herself turned over, to try and reverse the pressure of the hold onto Syd was a last-ditch effort to save herself. All the same, the Brit tried to lift her torso, and turn both of their bodies in a desperate effort to reverse the figure four. Literally on her last legs, Gemma tried her best to ignore the pain in her neck on down, desperately hoping to save herself by forcing a reversal of the hold.

Syd watched Gemma's face while she worked the horribly damaging figure four leg lock, and wondered when she'd hear something or feel something shift in the girl's leg. Then would come even more screaming.

She didn't realize until too late, though, that her position pushed up on only her palms was not the most stable, and when Gemma threw her weight to the side her hand slipped. She fell on her shoulder on the mat and tried to turn in the opposite direction, but she found herself rolled onto her stomach, and suddenly instead of wrecking Gemma's knee, her own knee was hurting. It was compressed with her heel to her butt and Gemma's leg laced through behind her knee, hyper-extending the joint and causing her some pain.

"Grrrrrrr..."

Worse than the pain, though, was that the stupid English slut was still alive and kicking. She thrashed and struggled to drag herself closer to the ropes or turn over enough to make her let go. The second she got free, she was going to make Gemma pay dearly.

"Rrrrrgh!"

Allie growled as Syd's figure four legwhatever was turned around. Once again her hands were buried in her orange locks and she stamped her foot petulantly.

"Ohmigod, Syd!" Allie barked. "How the hell are you having trouble with her!?" Allie slapped her fists against the apron and stomped again.

"Stop sucking!"

Gemma couldn't help but beam, as she managed to turn their intertwined bodies over and take the advantage, in the figure-four lockup. Feeling sweat and blood running down her face, Gemma could hardly believe she'd mustered the strength to keep in the fight, but the rising cheer of the crowd (and the frustrated shouts of Allie, down at ringside) made it all the more worth it, to her). Gemma began to bounce, slightly, at the hips, wanting to show off for the crowd, a little, while paying Syd back a little for the agony she'd been put through, tonight.

Peeking back to flash a taunting smirk at Syd, however, it was clear that the red-eyed sociopath wasn't taking this reversal lying down. Knowing that she didn't have the strength to keep up the hold, especially not with her still-aching neck and back, Gemma chose instead to abandon the figure four, and pull out. Releasing all pressure from her legs, Gemma hurriedly extricated herself from the bucking Syd, trying with all of her energy to pull back and roll out of the hold.

Lifting herself with assistance from the ring ropes, Gemma was clearly putting her weight on the leg that Syd hadn't nearly inverted, on her. Still, the Brit didn't want to give too much ground, didn't want to appear too weak in front of this bitch. “What now, you mad cow?” Gemma said, grinning through the blood and the tears, flashing Syd a “V” with her fingers.

Syd scowled and rubbed her knee while she turned over to sit on the mat. While she rose to her feet, she made eye contact with Allie and jabbed a finger at her. "You're dead." She didn't need to say more than that.

Once upright, she turned to direct her unnerving gaze at her battered, but irritatingly defiant, opponent. She didn't bother to say anything as she approached her, moving cautiously like she was herding her against the ropes. When she was close enough, she lunched in at her, one hand reaching out for a pretty white braid, while the other one cruelly clamped down around Gemma's considerable breast. She squeezed and twisted with her unusually strong hands, and the ref immediately began the count.

"One! Two!"
