Ninjette vs. The Mask - Dogfight

As creepy as he was, as much as his style countered her, she couldn't lie - this was a little bit exciting. She'd had good fights before, she'd even lost a few, but this was looking like it would be a real test of her abilities. Losing against a tank like Johnny or King or Damus the Dumbass was one thing, but how well could she hold up against a guy with a similar style? Guys like this were rare in Tension, challenges like this wouldn't come along too often. Better savor it, win or lose.

She winced as he closed in, expecting to take a hard blow, but instead she was taken for a ride - he put her in a textbook hurricanrana and sent her flying across the ring, getting good air time before she came down on her shoulder. She tumbled once, twice, before coming to a stop on her knees, dizzy and dazed from the sudden jolt, her ponytail flinging about in wild arcs.

After he took Ninjette down, The Mask got up to his feet and looked at his opponent first to see the impact of his maneuver. Seeing that the ninja girl was on her knees, the masked guy climbed the turnbuckle and crouched on the top of the post and waited a bit. His plan wasn't to strike her when she's down. No, he's going to wait until Ninjette got up.

When she did, The Mask would jump off the turnbuckle, attempting to piggyback her from behind with his legs locked around her waists. One of his arms would wrap around her neck, but not really choking her, while the other formed a fist and swung around in the air. It wasn't for a punch, though, more like the thing an excited kids doing while riding their friend's back. Of course, that wasn't the relationship between him and Ninjette, but that should look funny in the audience's eyes.

As Kozue got up, she should have taken the audience's growing chants as a sign. That was rarely a good thing, especially when you couldn't see your opponent.

She started to turn around and search for the Muted Mask Man, but he came to her before she had the chance, jumping on her back like a monkey and riding her like rodeo, waving his arm around while she struggled just to not fall flat on her face, waving his hand around in the air like he just didn't care

And that was how Kozue learned an important lesson - you don't need to speak in order to make fun of someone. "So it's like that, huh? "

Kozue barely had the strength to stay standing with him like this, and felt like her knees were going to give in a scant second - she was going down, it was just a matter of how. So she chose it in a way that would hurt him, too. She took a deep breath and jumped back, trying to hit the mat with him as the perfect cushion. She didn't have much weight to put behind it, but she hoped Mr. Momentum and Ms. Gravity would give her enough help to make some damage.

The crowds seemed to be amused by the sight of a masked man riding the back of a ninja girl, and The Mask himself definitely looking like he's having fun as he let out a couple noises that sounded more like grunting than anything else. His opponent eventually was unable to stay on her feet, but it's the way she dropped to the mat that brought another "Ooohhh" from the audience.

"Geh!" the masked guy was slammed onto his back, with Ninjette's weight knocking extra air from his lungs.

His legs were loosened from her waists, and while his arm was still wrapped around her neck, it was merely holding without giving any pressure. The masked guy might be agile, but he's probably just a little bigger in size than the ninja girl. A fall like that was enough to stun him for a bit.

"Guooh..." The Mask groaned as he tried to push her off him to ease the pressure on his chest.

Sweaty and groaning, with a tired guy underneath. Kozue was about to let a crass remark fly on reflex, before she remembered it was just going to fall on deaf ears. Literally. "Wasting good material, damn it..."

He didn't enjoy the fall, but Kozue was savvy enough to know that it would take a good deal more to put the three-count on him, so she didn't even bother going for it - she could think of far more productive ways to use her window. By the time he started pushing her off, she was already making her way up, rolling to her feet and running to the ropes.

She bounced off came back towards him, doing a quick roundoff to close the distance and build up some speed, before she backflipped and came down on him with a standing moonsault, splashing down all over him. One of many new wrestling moves she'd been learning since she came here. He wasn't the only one who could put on a show.

Even with Ninjette's weight no longer pressing him down, The Mask had to stay down for a bit as the earlier fall had knocked a good portion of his air. He probably could have put a tighter lock on her back then, but it's still early in the match, where putting up a show could be prioritized over result. It just that he had to be ready for any possible drawback, like this.

The mask was just about to get up himself when the ninja girl flipped herself backwards and splashed him, knocking whatever air he just regained. He grunted and his body bounced off the mat slightly, only to be kept down by Ninjette's weight. It seemed that he couldn't just get up yet for the time being. At least, he would still be able to kick out if she ever tried to pin him.

The crowd gave her a little cheer, egging her on, loving the match so far. High-flying risktakers always seemed to get the cameras flashing. Sure, there were bigger guys and even gals in Tension, and there was something to be said for power moves and submissions, but when it came to drawing the crowd you just could beat a little air raiding.

Speaking of submissions, though, maybe one or two would hurt. He was prone, and it was still too early for pinning, even if he was good for. "All right, you like to make noises?" She gave him a pat on the shoulder as she slid off. "Let's get you making some noises."

She sat her toothsome rump down beside him and grabbed his arm, bending it and weaving her own arm through the hole. She placed her leg across his wrist and grabbed her own ankle, locking it in, then pulled up with her arm while she pushed down on his wrist with her legs, putting all the pressure on his elbow, The short-arm scissors. Nasty little move she'd done in practice but never in the ring. Mask was going to be her guinea pig.

The Mask felt his arm was caught and shifted around by Ninjette, and soon enough it was locked with the short-arm scissors. He yelled, or at least it sounded like he was, because mimicking some random beast howling would be the alternative to what he did. The masked guy's legs initially slamming the mat a few times, as if he looked like he's in genuine pain. Sure it's painful, but a bit exaggeration was always what made wrestling entertaining.

That wasn't the end of it, though. The Mask would suddenly attempt to fold himself up, swinging his legs towards the ninja girl's head in an attempt to knock her opponent off, possibly loosening or releasing the hold. If he could free himself that way, then The Mask was going to roll away to the opposite direction and sit up, clutching his locked arm.

The Mask's scream was like a car full of squirrels and chipmunks in a flaming car with a donkey in the trunk getting rolling off a 350 foot tall cliff, but even that couldn't break her stride - she was just glad she managed to lock the stupid thing in. There was something immensely satisfying about learning a move and managing to execute it when it really mattered. It was like getting straight A on her report. Which never happened. But if it did? Totally like this?

She was a little too busy beaming, though, because she completely forgot that he had three other limbs to work with, two of which slammed into her face and knocked her flat on her ass for the second time in this fight. A disturbing pattern.

She rolled away herself and started to pull up, looking over her shoulder - the move had damage him a bit, at least. Now she had a sweet spot to aim for.

The Mask slowly get up to his feet, still holding his arm while setting his sight back on his opponent. The pain should go away in a bit, not to mention that he usually didn't really depend on his arms. He assumed his grappling stance and began to circle around Ninjette again, tilting his head once in a while. Every now and then he made a gesture as if he's going to rush in, but it's just a feint.

Once he felt like he had the opportunity, the masked fighter rushed in full speed. This time he didn't plan to stop, sliding down instead in an attempt to scissor the ninja girl's legs and trip her down face first to the mat.
