SS 14 Best 2/3 Falls: Taylor Parker Vs. Adrian Kytes

Taylor quickly grabbed hold of the hair at the back of Adrian's head and dragged her into a run to the corner where she flung the brunette face-first into the top turnbuckle. She felt good about the first glimmer of momentum in the match, and she was dead-set on keeping up the pace and manhandling Adrian until the squirrelly girl started to wilt. Then she would be well on her way to winning two falls to zero.

"Hey! Not the hair notthehair!" Adrian protested as she was dragged along for the ride by her roots, the match going from not so bad to not so good pretty quick as her face bounced off the top turnbuckle like a basketball, the mousey haired wrestler staggering back a few steps as she tried to blink the stars away.

As Adrian staggered back away from the corner, Taylor rushed in. She jumped three times in a triangle off the ropes, her left foot landing on the middle rope on one side, her right foot on the top rope on the other, and then she sprung back, turning in the air and swinging her leg in a broad kick with her shin aimed for Adrian's head.

Adrian was caught out in a bad way, by the time she turned back to try and face Taylor, the blonde had already leapt past her in an impressive athletic display that the former cosplayer missed. Except for the kick in the end, she turned back around to catch that flush on the forehead. The force of the kick sending the brunette flying onto her back as the punkette looked to make good on her promise to make this a quick 2 and 0

It was still early in the match, but the fast-paced exchanges between the two wrestlers already had the crowd roaring with each shot that landed. A collective "ohhhhh filled the arena as Adrian went down hard, and Taylor gave a quick grin and a fist pump while she stepped to Adrian's side.

She tucked down and then jumped forward into a three-quarter backflip, landing with her body across Adrian's like a standing Shooting Star Press. She wrapped one leg over Adrian's, and hooked the other with her arm as she rolled her up for a quick pin.

The ref was instantly in place, and the excitement in the arena grew as her hand slapped the mat. "One!"

"Two!" The referee counted, before Adrian kicked out. A nostalgic echo of "Twooooooooooo" repeating throughout the arena as Adrian tried to get her bearings back, pressing herself up onto all fours as she crawled to the ropes. That was... let's not sugar coat it, that was an impressive display by Taylor and a near disastrous result for the former cosplayer. If she didn't want Taylor to prove herself right, she was going to have to kick it up a notch, fast.

Taylor sat upright as Adrian broke the pin and began to crawl away. She shrugged. It was worth a shot.

"I know what you're thinking," she said, as she got up to chase down her opponent. "I'm really good. It's okay, everyone here is thinking the same thing." She circled in front of Adrian and bent to slap both hands on her head. She backed up as she began to pull Adrian back to her feet so that she could continue to heap abuse on her, fully anticipating a quick and easy finish, at least to fall number one.

"Ow..." Groaned Adrian as Taylor slapped her, getting in between the former cosplayer and the ropes so the punkette could try and keep her momentum going. But as Taylor 'helped' Adrian back up, the brunette grabbed the back of the blonde's head, and dropped straight back down on her knees, trying to bring Taylor's jaw down on the top of her head. Trying to turn the tables with a jawbreaker.

Taylor was taken by surprise when Adrian's hands suddenly clamped on behind her head. She tried to let go of the brunette and shove her away, but she found herself yanked sharply downward until her head abruptly stopped as her chin crashed into Adrian's shoulder.

She sprung back upright as if Adrian's shoulder was made of rubber. She paused, and started to blindly reach out for Adrian, but then her legs wobbled, her knees buckled, and she fell in a heap on her side.

"Uggh..." She groaned. She put one hand to her cheek and propped herself up on one hand so she was lounging on one hip.

Junko clapped along when Taylor caught the early momentum as well as the first near pinfall. It looked like she'd cruise to an early first fall until Adrian hit with the jawbreaker.

Junko gasped and slapped the mat. "Don't let it slow you down, Taylor-san! Keep moving! Don't stand still!"
