Bonds are created in many ways. Some are connected by events and some by objects. In this rivalry which bonds will prevail?

Ace couldn't resist bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet backstage, waiting for the call to go out. She had damn good reason to be excited too. Not only was she teaming up with her girlfriend/mentor for the first time, but they were teaming up at Summer Splash, AFW's second biggest show of the year, and Ace's second Pay Per View appearance for the company. It was a good feeling, one of validation. She had debuted in the opening match of the previous major show, Avalanche, and now was higher up on the card on her second big show, a good, if minor, promotion of sorts.

Going from bouncing to pacing, energy flowing through her, she turned to her partner, admiring how the older, beautiful woman looked. Valley had been pretty excited about coming back to America, even if being on the plane had been nervous for her. Ace didn't have too much problem with it herself.

"You ready to whoop some ass Valley? Our music should be starting soon!"

Ah yes, the music. The girls had stayed up half the night arguing about what music they would come out too. They both wanted Van Halen, but they couldn't settle on a David Lee Roth song or a Sammy Hagar song. Finally, Valley won out, using her superior logic....and trapping Ace's neck between her tan, creamy, soft, yet still strong thighs, playfully threatening to knock the girl out if she didn't change her mind. It was also the only time in her career that Ace had tapped out.

Dressed in her long sleeved shirt/skirt combo, silver spandex trunks underneath, Ace let out a cheerful yell as their chosen song, "Panama" by Van Halen, began playing, signaling their entrance.

"Cmon Val! Lets go beat up a blue rat and a yellow pussy!"

Valley was nervous. How long had it been since she was nervous, really and truly? Years.

Summer Splash. The big show. She didn't regret one second of her time with the Slamazons, she would have been fine living and dying doing those indie shows. She loved the people. She loved the rings. It was small, but it was dedicated. It had heart.

But every now and then, she did dream of something bigger. Who didn't? What wrestler doesn't want her fifteen minutes of fame? She was fine with it being a dream, but deep down she wished she could take it to the big leagues. A pay-per-view. Not the main event, yes, but just being a part of it was more than she'd ever hoped for when she flew out to Japan. Now she was here, in the spotlight, with her girl, about to put on a show for the world.

It blew her mind, like living in a dream made reality. There was just dark lining around the silver cloud, though, and that was the conversation she'd had with her parents the night before...

No. No, she wouldn't think about that, not tonight. This was their time, just her and Ace. Whatever happened tomorrow, they would deal with it, then. "Born ready, baby girl." "Wait for it." She held up her hand, letting the opening riff play out. Timing was everything, and when the drums kicked in, she snapped her fingers. "Let's rock!"

She came out swinging, dancing around Ace as they made their way down to the ring. She felt good and she knew she looked it, bringing her special outfit just for this match - the two-piece, styled after her mother's old outfit. A heart-shaped exposed her chest, long gloves, pink kneepads that covered legs up to the knee along with white boots, laced up and tight. Ready for action.

She slid into the ring alongside Ace in, entering in perfect timing, and Valley ran to the corner for a little fan love. Hopping on the middle rope, Valley faced the audience and whipped her hair around in time for the music, striking a few poses to give the bloggers something for their pages.

Several minutes passed and no music played. Nothing came from the backstage entrance except disheartening silence. Murmurs followed through the crowd which turned into annoyance and finally booing. Was the dreaded duo going to no show?

Out stepped the General manager in a stylish sarong, the cool ocean air rippling the thin fabric. She had a look on her face that seemed to be slightly off. She still smiled, but her vibrant, unconstrained grin looked almost forced. "Ladies und Gentlemen, I have come to announce zat tonight's match up vill have a bit of a change to it. Ze Ace und puppe vill still be competing. however, zey vill have new opponents."

The crowd booed much harder than before.

Lukretia scowled. "I'm sure everyone here vill be satisfied." She said as she gave a knowing glance to Valley and Ace before her smile returned to its genuine state.

A quieter warble of booes hummed through the arena as the Chistralian menace stepped out from the curtains. She was dressed up in a sleek black Chinese dress, reminiscent of her earlier ring attire. In one hand she had a microphone and while her voice had not yet been heard, she looked absolutely stunning.

Her almond eyes sparkled as she marched proudly towards the ring. It wasn't her first PPV event, but it was the first time she'd be seen by the full crowd. However, that's not what made her strides purposeful or her eyes gleam. Her opponents would find out soon enough why Jocelyn's heart fluttered with anticipation ... and other things.

"Oi, you twats!" Jocelyn said once she was inside the ring. "Don't give a fuck why the drongos you were supposed to fight pussed out. I'd be happy to kick both yer arses myself but I didn't want to be greedy. Too fuckin bad for you, ya carpet munchin tossers."

Jocelyn grinned from ear to ear as she leaned back against her turnbuckle. She kept one eye on her opponents and the other focused on the entrance.

Her short blonde hair was artfully arranged, her makeup was flawless. Her attire was not even slightly out of place. Her long legs carried her down the ramp with graceful strides, and she paid no attention at all to the legions of fans filling the arena. She carried herself like a queen, and rightfully so. She was approaching her throne. Not the ring, but Silver Ace. Valley Doll.

She walked around to the ring steps and climbed up, her hips swaying hypnotically with each step, until she stopped on the apron. She waited for Jocelyn to pry the ropes apart for her, and then smoothly slipped between the top and middle ropes.

She moved to the middle of the ring and waited a moment before lifting her carnivorous emerald eyes to gaze at her opponents, one with a bad tan and hideous bleached hair, and one with boyishly short silvery hair. Her eyes lingered on Ace... She quite fancied that one, actually. She was going to enjoy every moment with her, helping her bloom, teaching her how to sing. She purred at the idea of curling her fingers into the girl's skin and having her way with her, like a lioness before fresh prey.

She turned back to Jocelyn and approached until they were almost chest-to-chest. She lifted a hand and placed it softly on Jocelyn's neck, her thumb stroking down her throat, while she held Jocelyn's eyes captive with her own. Her other hand went to the buckles on her long-tailed vest, undoing them one by one. She slid it off, along with her scarf, and threw them over the top rope, leaving her clad in a black bikini top with a thin white trim along the bottom and a golden clasp in the middle.

Then she smiled, just as the bell rang.

Valley wasn't really sure what to make of all this.

On one hand, she wanted to smack the masks of Hawk and Lioness. She and Ace had been training just for that, and having them no-show was going to leave an itch that desperately needed scratching. That wasn't over - those two were far too pissed after the promo. Sooner or later, they'd come screeching back in Valley and Ace's lives. Knowing her look, it would be at the most inopportune time possible.

But on the other hand, Valley had wanted to settle the score with Jocelyn for an even longer time. She'd wondered where the screeching harpy went off to after she tucked tail and ran during their last little encounter, ever since she made it to the rapidly growing 'Bitches Who Mess With My Girlfriend' list. She couldn't imagine what would possess Jocelyn to come all the way to Atlantic City for even more kicks in the face, but Valley would happily oblige. Jocelyn didn't have what it took to beat Ace without cheating a couple months ago, and she doubted the little witch was any better now.

This other woman, though...she might be a problem. Valley didn't recognize her, but the crowd sure seemed to. There was this sort of reverent hush that accompanied her regal movements - the audience was in awe. Valley had seen more audiences than she could possibly remember. She'd seem them laugh, cry, jeer, boo, riot. But awe? That was a new look. And speaking of looks, Valley really, really didn't like the one she was giving Ace. It was about the same look she'd given Ace herself when they fist met, with a sinister twist to it.

She stepped in front of Ace without even thinking, as her eyes hardened and stared straight at the newcomer, watching her little striptease with Jocelyn. Were they girlfriends? Mistress and slave? Something even weirder? Who could even be around Jocelyn long enough for any of that? Whatever the case, this woman wasn't like Hawk or Lioness. Not even like Jocelyn. This one had confidence. Quiet, dangerous confidence.

The bell rang and Valley sized her up, walking to the side but staying close to Ace. She and the new woman were similar in size, build, height, despite the radically different looks. "So." She folded her arms and exhaled, trying to calm herself and ease the tension. "Are you going to say something, or are you just going to keep up the whole 'silent menace' thing? Because I've seen it done better."

Allison turned to face Valley Doll, standing with one foot turned out to the side and one hand on her hip. She looked like a model, or a dancer, tall and statuesque, and she smiled politely across the ring at her blonde opponent.

"My apologies, I don't mean to be rude." Her velvety, posh voice came in soothing contrast to Doll's petulant tone. She was the picture of good manners and grace. "My name is Allison, and it's a pleasure to meet you both. I'm so glad we were able to step in when your previous opponents fell through. I hope they're alright." She tilted her head with what looked like genuine concern. "Now then, good luck. I'm sure this will be a thrilling match for us all."

She turned and slipped back out of the ring, leaving Jocelyn to do as she pleased.

"Woah, woah woah...hold on a second."

Ace, having turned and grabbed a microphone when Valley stepped in front of her, stepped towards the center of the ring, having a problem with the situation. Not that she could be blamed, having trained hard and studied what little there was to study of their original opponents, and dealt with Valley's crazy parents, now their opponents were being switched!? Ace couldn't help but rant.

"So let me get this straight....apparently its Bitches Night at AFW!"

She exclaimed, getting a laugh out of the crowd as she pointed to the entrance area.

"So first, the two bitches that were supposed to come out here either chickened out, got stuck in traffic, or maybe these two bitches beat them up backstage, which makes Val and I look like dumb bitches for coming out here. Then out comes the Queen Bitch Sue herself, announcing a replacement!"

Ace continued her rant, clearly unhappy with the change in events, continued to dig her hole.

"And just who does she send out? First this bitch!"

She said, pointing at Jocelyn.

"For those who forgot, this is the bitch who was apparently so bothered by having to fight me in a tournament, that she decided to kick me in the crotch and go about her day. Great skills there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it at last years Summer Splash that the "look at me, I'm such a cute and innocent, wouldn't hurt a fly" bitch Cassie nearly broke your leg? I mean seriously, if that were me, I'd have knocked her out cold, but you ended crying like a bitch!"

The crowd cheered, liking what she had to say, most of the fans already tweeting "Ace Bitch", no doubt making it a number 1 worldwide trending topic, as Ace turned to the other girl.

"As for you.....I gotta be honest, I have no idea who you are. I mean, OK, you've got creepy music. You have.....some weird sadist relationship with that bitch I guess? OK. What I do know, is your looking at me weird, and apparently you've got Valley here a bit antsy, so I'm just gonna assume your the creepy bitch of the day needing her ass kicked!"

Ace finished, tossing the mic out of the ring, face red, clearly pissed off and ready to fight, in case the stream of curses weren't a proper indicator. Indeed, she was heavily tempted to just rush the two opponents right now!

There was nagging thought in Valley's head. Jocelyn and Allison weren't exactly dressed up in casual attire. They looked ready to wrestle. They were ready for a match. That would mean that it wasn't happenstance Hawk and Lioness didn't show up - it was planned. Why? There were all sorts of explanations she could think up, and she could admit she was being paranoid, but something about all of this reeked of a setup. Valley was no stranger to GM BS, but she couldn't figure out the angle.

Ace had similar feelings, it turned out. She was just more vocal about them.

As much as she loved Ace when she got aggressive, she was a little too hot under the collar. Rightfully so, but Jocelyn would just use that against her.

"Hey, uh..." She patted Ace's shoulder, chuckling. "Nice speech, but maybe you should cool down a little, okay?" She nodded her head towards the bigmouth. "Let me tenderize Jocelyn for you."

Ace turned her head towards her girlfriend, having to remind herself that it was Valley for a second, and not some other person.

As much as she wanted to vent her current frustrations out on their opponents, who had clearly planned more of this then they were letting onto, she knew Valley was right. She wouldn't be able to focus and Jocelyn would just be able to turn that against her, not to mention neither girl knew what Allison was capable of doing. It was best to let the older, more level headed woman with the 12 years of experience go first.

Ace leaned in, giving Valley a kiss on the cheek before moving to her corner, going through the ropes and standing on the apron, raising her arm to root for Valley Doll.
