The Bald and the Bold - Cecilia Northman vs. River Styx

Styx could almost see the punch connecting in her head - Northman would go down, crumbling in pain. Vulnerable. Easy prey. Open for all sort of pain.

So it was a bit disappointing when she not only avoided the attack, but managed to counter it, grabbing hold of Styx's arm and flinging her towards the corner with surprising strength. Styx charged across the ring, only turning at the last moment to let her back slam against the turnbuckle.

The blow hurt, to be sure, but she oversold it - she let out a sharp cry and slumped down, arms draped over the ropes, chain unwinding, looking like the blow had knocked the wind out of her and thrown her for a loop. A tempting target - if Northman took the bait and neared, Styx would pop up and lash out with the chain the moment she was in range, trying to bring it down on top of her head, this time.

After swinging off with Styx towards the opposite corner, Cecilia stood and waited for a little while. She looked on at her opponent who had crashed into the corner and seemingly was in a fair bit of pain because of it. Cecilia raised an eyebrow at the sight. It wasn't strange to be hurt by a hit towards the corner, but seeing as her earlier spear hadn't done this much damage just a few seconds ago...Cecilia was more than a little suspicious.

Cecilia decided that if this Styx wanted to play with weapons, then what better way to oblige her than for the former Hardcore champion to take her up on that offer ? As such Cecilia bent down and quickly snagged up the bat that had spilled out from the trashcan, swinging it up over onto her shoulder as she would place the bat against her strong shoulder in a pretty casual stance as she looked over at her bald opponent. " You couldn't have wrapped it in barbed wire for me ? Kids today, no respect for the greats..." Cecilia let out and accompanied her words with a mock disappointed sigh.

When it became obvious that Cecilia wasn't going to charge in, Styx stood up and cracked her neck, letting the chain dangle as she started circle the - what did they call her? Northern Queen? Queen of the North? Something like that. She was smart, Styx would give her that. Probably tough. Quite tough. But if there was one hard rule about the universe, it was that no matter how tough something was, no matter how resilient, everything breaks. It's only a matter of force and time.

"Speaking of respect, I think you're touching something that distinctly does not belong to you. Quite certain I didn't give you permission to use my bat, or touch my can." She lifted up her chained hand and waved a finger. She stopped in front of Northman, a few feet away - just out of the bat's range, she fathomed. "Besides - I'm creative. I can think of all sorts of uses for a simple bat - ones even you've probably never even thought of. Give it back and I'll show you a few."

Cecilia shrugged her shoulders a bit as Styx went on about how it was her stuff and how she hadn't given the Berserker permission to touch her stuff, or use them. For that reason Cecilia couldn't help but let out a light chuckle. " I don't really need to respect you darling. I just need to break you." Cecilia let out as she would then watch how her bald opponent was starting to make her way over towards her, closing the gap with each passing second.

The northern queen decided to start and move out of the corner a bit an meet with the girl somewhere near the center of the ring. It seemed as if the girl was making sure to keep herself out of the range of the bat, which Cecilia had to admit was pretty smart of her, though the girl's choice of words weren't especially smart. When she asked for the bat back, well Cecilia would oblige the girl. Swinging the bat off her shoulder and tossing the stick off towards Styx. The instant she tossed the bat, Cecilia moved in, pushing off the mat with as much force as she could and moving up at a fast pace, closing the few feet of distance in a second and raising her right foot up and attempting to drive it right into Styx, as the blond bombshell tried to take her opponent down with a powerful big boot.

"Break me?" She didn't lack for confidence, there was no denying that; but then, few in this profession ever did. There was no shortage of ego in the AFW. Styx just chuckled; a low, guttural rumble that never came off quite right with her raspy voice. She was nursing a sore throat, as well - her voice came off broken, ragged. "I am..." She took a deep breath, finding the right words. "...somewhat skeptical of your appallingly braggadocios claim. And fuck respect. You can keep respect." Her fist tightened on the chain, clenching it tight. "I much prefer fear."

Styx had been expecting all sorts of moves, but throwing the bat took her for a loop; at such close range, she was just barely able to duck under the projectile, glancing its way as it passed overhead - a move that put her in prime range for the Big Boot. She became intimately acquainted with the underside of Cecilia's foot as it crashed into her face and the resounding sound heel meeting bone echoed through her head. The blow laid her out, flat on the floor, eyes winced shut as visions of Cecilia with a length of barbwire wreathed around her neck danced through the bald brawler's head.

Styx's reaction to the bat being throw was exactly what Cecilia wanted to get out of the girl, having her duck in under the bat like that and leaving herself open. It seemed as if everything was going according to the former hardcore champion's plans. Her plan to teach this new kid just what happened if you underestimated one of the biggest names here in AFW.

For that reason she pressed forward and with a powerful impact drove her boot right into Styx's face, driving her bald girl down right into the mat with a heady thud following her meeting with the canvas. The crowd shouted out wildly in approval for the Cecilia. Who following the big boot raised her arm up above her head and would then attempt to throw herself backwards. Moving her arm back and bending it at the elbow so that she sharp point was aimed right down towards Styx. With it the hardcore beauty would attempt and drive said elbow right down into Styx's upper chest and throat, for a brutal elbow drop!

Needless to say, Styx's mood had been officially soured.

She hadn't expected to completely sweep Northman with no contest - this would be a challenge, she knew that. She expected that. She wanted that. But she hadn't come to be dominated, either; being new to the ring hardly meant she was new to the fight, and she intended to show that. Her plan certainly did not include being flattened by Cecilia's boot.

But, nonetheless, that's where she ended up as the sheep applauded Northman. Styx started to get up as soon as possible, but an elbow to the chest stopped her effort cold; the blow slammed into her chest and she rolled over from the pain. While she was flipped over, though, she started to wrap the chain around her fist once more, using her body to hide it from Northman as she laid on her side.

Just bide for time. Let her have it...

Cecilia grinned widely from ear to ear as her elbow drove down right into the chest of her slightly taller opponent. So far it seemed as if everything was going Cecilia way against this new girl, being able to flatten her into the mat with a few good moves and the beautiful blond hadn't even started to bust out her signature style of wrestling yet. Well the feeling of that was pretty good, though perhaps it wasn't...considering that this was a new girl, a newbie who probably didn't have much experience inside the squared circle.

Even so, Cecilia knew that she would have to press her advantage and keep attacking Styx. For that reason, Cecilia would start to step up, attempting to move towards the head of Styx, trying to cup it in between her hands as she would attempt and pull the girl up onto her feet. " Not done with you yet, Baldy!" Cecilia let out in a confident tone of voice as she tried to haul Styx up towards her feet, standing face to face with the Swedish powerhouse.

Styx swore, she could almost hear Cecilia thinking. It wasn't hard to read a person like her - she wasn't exactly an introvert. She wasn't taking the match all that seriously - why should she? She'd faced dozens of opponents before, all shapes and sizes, even both sexes. She went around calling herself a Queen. Even for someone in her profession, she would hardly lack for confidence, thinking she could simply take a part another newcomer and appease her adoringly doltish and doe-eyed fans.

She needed education. Styx excelled in that sort of lesson.

"Good - not done with you, either, blondie."

When Cecilia got her standing, Stxy tried to beat her to the punch - or whatever attack she had planned - by pulling their waists together with one hand while she threw her chained fist at Northman's smug face, coming at her with a fierce right hook.

Cecilia was caught by surprise as her opponent when finally pulled up wards, pushed forward and wrapped one arm around her waist. The Blond beauty was caught by surprise as the beautiful blond hottie was caught that surprise, as hers and Styx's bodies pushed and pressed tightly against one another.

The blond bombshells eyes opened wide in surprise as soon enough she was introduced the Styx's chained fist, which smacked hard into the blond beauty's cheek. The heavy and strong punch, coupled with the hardness of the chain snapped Cecilia's head to the side, cracking her lip in the process and drawing a little blood out of the beautiful Girl, who seemed to slump down a bit in Styx's *embrace*.
