While You Were Out

Akashi just laughed at Angel as she continued to complain about her ladder problems. It was amusing and Akashi ruffled Angel's hair as she heard the tea kettle whistle and skipped back to the kitchen. She filled two cups with hot water and then steeped in some Jade Dew, filling the house with a sweet aroma. After a moment, she brought the cups out on a plate and handed one to Angel. She then took a seat next to her and took her own cup, setting aside the tray on the table near by.

" You should try a tables match." Akashi said, lifting up the hot tea and blowing on it. "Sure, pinning someone is great, but there's something about the satisfying crack that comes with putting a girl through some wood." Akashi grinned at Angel. "Though, it is a similarly dangerous game if you happen to get caught at a bad time." Akashi shrugged. "I wouldn't recommend barbed wire rope matches though. Not against someone wearing armor, especially. That might have been my worst experience here." Akashi said as she shuddered.

Angel accepted her cup of tea off the plate with a slight smile, blowing on it to cool it off as she listened to the sumo talk about her own experiences. She took a slow, small sip from the sweet tea, but nearly spit it right back out as Akashi mentioned the barbed wire match.

"Are you crazy, sumo?" she asked, a legitimately freaked out look crossing her face. "A barbed wire rope match?! Why the hell would you ever accept something like that?!" She shook her head at the sumo, leaning forward to place her teacup on the tray. "I will never understand why people do crazy matches like that. A tables match, sure, fine. But a barbed wire match? Geez, Akashi."

"I thought my match against Gatt was bad. I almost, almost said fuck it and turned it down. But a barbed wire match? I just...geez. Who the hell were you fighting anyway, chica?" she asked, tilting her head curiously towards the larger woman. "And who won, anyway...?"

Akashi blushed. "Actually, I probably was pretty crazy." She said. "Maybe I still am.' Akashi added. "I was young. It was maybe my second or third match. I can't remember." She said. "Her name was Robin, I think. What was crazy was that I wrestled topless. Pretty sure I wrestled topless. She wrestled in armor! Like, seriously, armor!" Akashi's eyes widened. "That's the sort of thing you do when you're young. Would I do it again? Well, maybe. It's wear a top at least, though. I never ever thought I would box and I did THAT. Probably do a barbed wire match again before I did another boxing match though." She said.

"Wasn't it just a hardcore match?" Akashi asked, looking at Angel. "That doesn't seem so bad. I mean, I don't know if I'd WANT to be in them, but I've been hit in the head with lead pipes and brass knuckles before. I can't imagine it getting much worse than that." Akashi lowered her head. "Though... I feel like maybe I should not be so reckless anymore." She added as she took a sip of tea.

When Akashi mentioned that she fought the barbed wire match topless, Angel's eyes nearly bugged out of her head.

"TOPLESS?!" She could barely believe what she was hearing. "Damn, Akashi. I'm not sure if you're out of your mind or just that badass!" She leaned forward, grabbing her teacup again and taking a longer drink from it. "And yeah, it was just a hardcore match. I still think it was stupid though. Anyone can bash someone over the head with a weapon a couple times and take them out. Where's the skill in that? It doesn't prove anything, except that you know how to hit a girl with a chair or whatever."

"Not like that match in particular was so bad, though," she continued, taking a moment to take another sip of her tea. "It was just beach stuff that we fought with, but still. It was pretty stupid. And hell, Gatt may have ended up winning, but she left the company not too long after." Angel couldn't help but grin, her chest swelling up with pride. "As far as I'm concerned, she knew it was because she couldn't beat me in a real match! She knew if she had stuck around that I would have came after her again and kicked her lousy ass!"

She tilted her head towards Akashi again, and seeing the sumo's head lowered, reached forward to give her a playful punch in the shoulder. "Not so reckless, huh? Why is that?"

Akashi blushed from Angel's reaction. "It's... not unusual for me to wrestle topless." She said and puffed out her chest a bit. 'like the sumo tradition! I fight in the same way!" She said. "But... yeah... maybe not in a barbed wire match anymore..." She added sheepishly. She then grinned. "Obviously because I'm a badass!" She said, beaming again. She then deflated a bit. "Yeah, that Morrigan girl just tases people. But she doesn't really care about winning or losing. She just cares about hurting people. Even in a hardcore match that's not necessarily the case." She added. "She then turned her head.

"She's working for Taylor-san now." Akashi said. "Which I don't get. I'm not going to question her though. Taylor, that is. She knows what she's doing. Or, maybe she doesn't." Akashi said and shrugged.

"I know Sarah-san." Akashi said. "There was a point in time where I considered her my best friend." Akashi winced. "What a sad, horrible time..." She muttered. "She didn't leave because of YOU." Akashi added, sticking out her tongue.

"Not reckless? Well, I have to think about other people. I have my own family now, sort of. Plus, I got a bad concussion at Avalanche. It was pretty scaring not remembering a night you just finished experiencing..."

"I know you fight topless, silly! But...in a barbed wire match? That's like...anyone could see what a bad idea that would be!" She took another sip from her tea, then set the cup down again, sticking her tongue back out at Akashi. "And Sarah totally left because of me. She didn't want me to make her look bad in a real match so she turned her tail and fled." Angel nodded, looking smug as she looked over at Akashi.

"A concussion, huh? It wasn't that bad, I hope. I saw part of your match, and it didn't look too bad, but...you really couldn't remember that night?" she asked, looking curiously at the sumo. "I couldn't even begin to imagine what that would be like..."

"It wasn't that bad?" Akashi said and began to rub her head. "I got driven head first into the concrete three times! I'm probably lucky I ONLY got a concussion. Well, that's what I get for being so awesome, I guess." She said, grinning. "Most girls would have been out after the first hit, I'm sure." Akashi took another sip from her tea and eased back into her chair.

"Sarah-san's tough in a normal match too." She said, feeling a little defensive about her former friend. She doesn't NEED tricks to win. She just likes it that way because she's a bitch." She added and shook her head.

Akashi sighed. "Ok, she said, deciding to change things up a bit. "So... what would your perfect match be? Any opponent, any stipulations?"

"You would ask that, huh?" Angel teased, leaning her head back, thinking about Akashi's question. "Honestly? I don't know. I mean, I'm at the top, right? I don't know who else I'd want to fight." The Latina looked thoughtful, closing her eyes as she considering the sumo's question. "Well...like I said, I wouldn't mind a rematch against Sarah, but she's probably never coming back." She opened one eye, and grinned at Akashi. "I wouldn't mind a rematch with you, either, you know. I still have to get you back for the first Summer Splash!"

She opened her other eye, and leaning in towards the sumo, gently prodding her with her elbow. "What about you, huh? What's your perfect match?"

It was a much easier question for Akashi. She'd thought about it quite a bit. There was always someone she wanted to get in the ring with and test herself against. "Lukretia." She said. "Inside a cage. Win with one pinfall or submission and one orgasm. It would be the only way to see how I match up against her.She can use all the dirty tricks she wants but she couldn't go and get a weapon or something. Just body against body." Akashi squeezed her thighs together. "Thinking about it is making me a little horny." Akashi said and blushed. "But yeah. I want a piece of Lukretia's ass. She said with an affirming nod.

"A rematch would be fun." Akashi said, tilting her head. "But, I don't just want to fight someone I've already wrestled. Our match was settled. It's not like I got lucky. Even if you won, I know what you're capable of." She said. Akashi gave Angela little shove with her hand on the leg. "It's nothing personal though. When I think if a dream match, I think of something that I would almost kill to experience." Akashi's head tilted back. "Like being an actual sumo wrestler! Yosh!' She said and pumped her fist. "Though..." She said, lowering her head. "I don't know if I'd switch now, even if I could." She said. "I've come to love wrestling too much."

Angel gave Akashi a playful shove back, but couldn't help but shake her head at the sumo. "I'd love to get my hands on Lukretia too, but...there's no point. She's too big of a bitch. Even if you got her into a cage and beat her, all it would do is play into her hands." She shrugged, looking away from Akashi with a bit of a sigh. "The bitch is too fucked up in the head to waste your time with. You could go fight her, and and beat her into a bloody mess, and she would still come out on top in the end. Why even waste your time thinking about it? I gave up being mad at her a long time ago." She shrugged again, then looked back to Akashi, tilting her head towards her.

"You don't have to completely switch, you know," she continued, smiling at Akashi. "You could always go try one or two sumo matches, then come back, you know. It's not like there's not other wrestlers that have dabbled in other things. If you want to do it, I say go for it. Hell, you might end up enjoying it more then you do wrestling, chica! It's gotta be worth trying once, you know?"
