Brawl 'til You Fall - Carmen Rodriguez vs Kurohime

Carmen may have struck with her elbow, but the pain she got back in return was undoubtedly more than she'd given - she felt like her arm was out to come out of the socket. Fortunately - relatively speaking, anyway - the lights went off a moment later, and it seemed like that was a good enough reason for Kurohime to let go, allowing Carmen to fall forward, flat on her chest while her spare arm nursed and rubbed the injured one.

Carmen was fully expecting some attack on her prone body - a stomp to the head, a kick in the ribs, even a spank on the ass; the latter would've been par for the course with this league. Instead, all she got was nothing and more of nothing - not that she was complaining. She needed all the time she could get.

She felt around in the dark until her hands found the grill of a car, using it for support to finally get back to her feet. The knee was still sore, but she could stand on it without too much pain as long as she didn't move too much. For now, she'd have to take the defensive roll, let Kurohime bring the fight to her, which she seemed to have no real problem with doing.

She raised up her right hand, keeping the tortured left down for the moment, but when the lights were on Kurohime was nowhere to be seen - troubling. Extremely troubling. Carmen looked left and right, front and behind, trying to find any trace of her...this reeked of an ambush.

The lights came back faster than before, but at least Kuro was already hiding behind the car. She could hear a few noises, probably Carmen bumping into the car to support herself. With her one of her arms and knees hurt, it would be difficult to stand up, she reckoned.

Kuro slowly moved around, trying to get behind her opponent with the patience of a hitman - the ones she watched in a movie, at least. She was no hitman of course, but sneaking around to deliver a surprise attack was also part of her gang life. Her youth might be misspent for most people, but at least it gave her experiences for times like this. Not that she ever dreamed of being a wrestler when she grew up, but hey, it happened.

When Carmen was in her range, Kuro would attempt to grab the girl's outfit from the back, before she would slam her opponent towards the car. If her plan went smoothly, she should be able to get the upper hand on the boxer.

Kuro was quiet, Carmen had to give her that much;she didn't see the attack coming until it was too late to move . Kurohime grabbed hold of her and slammed her face down into the good of the car, and turnig her head about to the side was the only thing that saved her for a broken nose.

Dizzied and dazed, she staggered back, stars forming in her eye as the world spun - she'd taken some hard hits in her day, but nothing really came close to the hood of an SUV.

Kuro smirked as she managed to slam her opponent onto the car, but it's not time to be satisfied yet. She might have the upper hand for now, but that didn't mean she could let her guard down. With Carmen seemingly dazed from crashing onto the car, she would attempt to slip her arms and lock them on the back of the girl's neck, wanting to trap the boxer in a full nelson hold to drag her opponent away.

"My bad... let me help you up," she said sarcastically.

She could have just try bashing Carmen to the car over and over again, but Kuro felt it's better to inflict harm to her opponent with her own body rather than using some tools. Tools are more fun to threaten people with.

Carmen grimaced, shaking her head - she swore, she could almost taste the damn car on her tongue, and she was sure her skull had dented the damn thing. Thank God for calcium.

Before she could regain some semblance of sense, she was wrapped up in a full nelson from behind, Kurohime dragging her back while her arms shot upwards. To her credit, she didn't just slam her face into the car again, but that didn't relieve Carmen all that much; whatever she was planning, it was probably just as nasty. Maybe even moreso.

She needed to get out of this, focus on her options. Her right arm and left leg were still recovering, but she had other limbs - until she was back to full capacity, she would have to make due. You're not just a boxer anymore, Carmen - remember, you've got a full toolkit to work with, now. Use it.

Planting her feet to stop the drag, she'll raise up her foot and bring it down on Kurohime's instep, crushing her toes under the heel. If that works, she'll then bend forward and snap back, trying to smack Kurohime in the face with the back of her head. "You talk too much."

"Oww!" Kuro yelped as she felt the heel of her opponent stomped her foot.

Her hold was loosened as a result, and the next thing she felt was the hard smack on her face that sent her staggering backwards. The paler girl rub her cheek, feeling that the hit also left a bruise on her face instead of just dazing her a little. She was forced to let Carmen go in the process, and now they're back to square one.

"I can shut your ears for you," she replied dryly, smirking despite her sore cheek and toes.

Charging might be a less effective tactics now, at least until her stomped foot recovered. So Kuro just circled the boxer, slightly taunting the girl with her twisted smirk, but keeping her stance solid to let her know that she would have to be very, very careful to come at her.

Her little gambit had her some freedom, but the fight was far from over; she ws still very much the wounded animal here. But she'd never backed down for a fight yet, and she wasn't starting now. Especially not to her.

Her arm feeling a bit better now, she brought up both of her arms, going back to her Peekaboo stance, turtling up. She edged her way toward Kurohime, inching her way with slow steps.

The moment she's in range, she'll throw out a pair of quick jabs, aiming for the skull. If Kuro takes the bait and strikes back, Carmen will jerk out of range, lean to the side, and hit her with an uppercut to the ribs.

Kuro pretended to keep some distance at first, but she'd allow Carmen to get closer to her a little by little. She expected the boxer to throw a punch or two, since that's what they usually did for the most part. When her opponent did strike, she backed away, since blocking wasn't really her style. She's going to counter, but who said that she needed to be close to do it?

The paler girl swung her forward leg, instead, aiming to deliver a low kick to Carmen's own before she backed further. It's a shallow hit for sure, but her message was clear. She could just do it again and again if the girl stuck to punches, and eventually the damage will stack up. A hit and run tactic like this would serve her better in a match where falling down wasn't an option.

Fucking kicks that would be a pain the ass. The kick hit Carmen's good knee and didn't mess her up too bad, but she couldn't take this all night - Kurohime was controlling things with her speed, and it seemed like preferred dodging over direct confrontation and trading blows. In the ring, Carmen would just box her to a corner and beat her around, but here she had all the space she could ask for.

She could fix that, though.

Carmen stepped in again and threw another quick jab, but this time she stepped forward right after, expecting Kuro to move out of range again. She'll fired off another jab to test the waters, then reach out and grab Kuro by the back of her head, pulling her in for a clench and giving her a quick knee.

Kuro initially thought that Carmen was either stubborn, or didn't know anything else as the girl coming at her again with another punch. While she didn't expect the same trick would work twice as proven earlier, it didn't seem like a risky maneuver either. She backed away from the first punch, ready to swing her leg when the boxed outwit her and grabbed her head. Crap...

"Uogh!" the knee strike to her stomach made her bent over, her footing unsteady.

Her hand reached for the wrist of Carmen that's on her head, trying to wrench it off while she protected her midsection with the other one. She was still in a bad situation, though, and unless she get away quickly from this, there's no telling what kind of shit she'd be in for. Kuro stumbled forward, however, wanting to pretend that she's hurt worse than it actually might look, so she could reach for the wounded knee of Carmen with her foot and give it a little poke. Well, it's more like a stomp than a poke, but given her condition, she wouldn't be able to put much into it. As long as it's enough to make the boxer release her, it's all good.
