When she kicked Blossom away, Ashlen would immediately roll sideways quickly and get up fast to get back in her stance. Seeing Blossom on one knee and raising up her arms, the Irish girl had to think quickly on what she should do next. She already landed some punches and kicks, so what can she do at this moment?

Another glance at the arms raised up and Ashlen would attempt to grab at the wrists to force her up. If this worked, she would throw Blossom to the turnbuckle.

Lightweight that she is, Blosson was tossed into the turnbuckle with ease, almost bouncing off it on impact. She held the roes for support, oversell in it a bit - she wanted Ashlen to get overconfident, move back in and make height and speed less of a factor. When Ashlen gets close enough, Blossom will rise up and try to give a kick in the stomach - not her specialty, but she hoped the surprise would make up for it.

Seeing Blossom holding onto the ropes for support, Ashlen felt that she now has her chance. She can't afford to lose it now, so she had to get at her opponent FAST. Eyes focused on her target, she would get set before sprinting towards that very turnbuckle. Once close enough, she would go in for a shoulder tackle to double that impact against the corner. If this worked before Blossom can kick her, the match could go more in her favor. If she got kicked though, Ashlen would fly from the impact and hit the mat hard.

The sudden dip takes her off guard, she whiffs the kick - too little, too late. She braces for impact, and Ashlen's tackle practically embeds her in the turnbuckle, folding her clean in half and leaving her to fall to her knees, grabbing her stomach as she gasps for air, taking deep gulps.

Ashlen's tackle had proven to be successful and she would quickly step back to see Blossom grab her stomach and fall to her knees in pain. In truth, Ashlen was more of a nice person and she often felt bad when her opponents experience this much pain in a match. But since this is a match, there was no time for agony now. She had to continue.

Ashlen would now try to grab Blossom's hair so she can drag her to the center of the ring and plop her onto her stomach. If this worked, she would immediately sit on Blossom's back, put those arms over Ashlen's knees, and then grab at the chin to pull up for a camel clutch.

The Camel Clutch! Scourge of the Spine!

Blossom cried out as she was bent backwards, Jackpot cranking up the intensity to a whole new level - this felt a lot less like sparring and more like an actual match, now, and one that Blossom was in serious danger of losing if she didn't turn the tables.

With her arms secured, her options were limited - fortunately, Jackpot's not all that heavy, which means there might just be away to power out of this. Pulling in her knees, Blossom digs deep into her well of strength, trying to sit up while's Jackpot's pouring on the camel clutch, lifting her body up and taking Jackpot along for the right, hoping she'll tumble off.

Jackpot kept pulling up on Blossom's chin to make her feel the effect of the hold. Just as she was getting the match to her side, she would feel her opponent start trying to sit up and lift her body up. Given the Irish girl's light weight, Ashlen would feel herself slightly tumbling off and she knew that she couldn't hold it for long. Blossom managed to lift her own body high enough to make Ashlen let go and roll backwards.

Standing back up on her feet and keeping her distance, Jackpot would brush the hair from her eyes as she said, "Hmm, nice recovery there." But she was still twitching to strike again, so if Blossom doesn't get up soon, the Irish girl might do worse.

Blossom grabbed the rope and pulled herself up, rubbing her back all the way and making sure her spine was still in a relatively straight position - definitely felt like something was out of place back there, but she'd worry about it later. "Thanks!" She managed to smile through the pain in her usual way. "And you've got slick moves - when this is over, you got to show me how you did that somersault thing from earlier."

Taking advantage of the reprieve, Blossom moved in and tried to grapple with her again, this time ducking low as she came in and reaching her arms around Ashlen's legs. If she can lock it, she'll lift Jackpot up, then slam her down flat on her back.

Ashlen would smile as she saw that Blossom was still doing okay and that's good. She would say, "Thanks, I've been practicing. I'll show yeh the somersault after the match. Anyway, what I'm doing right now is showing yeh an idea of what yeh'll be up against once yer in the league. Just think of me as someone for starters."

Soon, they were back to grappling again and Ashlen would go in to grab at Blossom's arms. But suddenly, she felt her legs getting grabbed and was immediately lifted up. Before she can retaliate, the Irish girl got slammed down flat on her back. "OCH!!" she would cry out from the impact as she landed on her back. The pain was getting to her back quite well, but while she had little time, Ashlen tried to kick Blossom away and roll away fast before Blossom can get to her again. She could see that this was about to get serious in a few moments.

Blossom yelped with glee - she was looking forward to that lesson. Close combat was an area she really had no experience in at all, and anything she could do to fill that gap up nice and quick was definitely a good thing. From the looks of it, Ashlen had a lot of knowledge to share, and she wanted to gobble up as much as she could.

Speaking of which, Ashlen's 'experience' hit Blossom's leg in the form of a kick, knocking her back a few steps, but she knew she couldn't let her get away - she had to keep it close. She lunged forward, trying to wrap her arms around Ashlen's neck and wrestle her down to the ground.
