Personality: It is quite easy to underestimate Esther. She is prone to flights of fancy, ferociously self-absorbed, and supremely petty. But she remains an exceptional boxer and she no doubt could have gone farther in her league had her drive not taken her another direction. Her determination is undeniable, however. She lives to be the best and refuses to accept anything less.
Style: Dirty boxing. Punching, punching, footwork, dodging, kicking sometimes, more punching, with a bit of grappling, roughhousing, and throwing about for good measure. She's a bit of a showoff and likes demonstrating her various stances and styles mid fight. Quick on her feet, she is great at throwing her body weight into her blows and that knowledge has carried over to a working knowledge of wrestling grapples. They are not her specialty, but going into a grapple thinking she is just some ragdoll you can bend into a girl-pretzel is going to get you thrown about and THEN punched in the face and maybe bent into a pretzel of your own for good measure, jerk.
Specialty Moves: Superman Punch - Esther hated that she could not do this in boxing. From a full speed run, leaping at the opponent, she will aim a punch at their head. Whenever an opportunity presents itself she will usually try this unless the opponent's head is already beaten up pretty badly in which case she will punch it harder still.
Thunder Cut - A European style uppercut delivered to an opponent in mid air. WWE's Antonio Cesaro makes this look a LOT easier than it actually is though. And she has taken quite a few more flying shoulder blocks and body presses than she has nailed it but, oh boy, when she hits it, it is something else.
She can also land this running up the rope on an opponent sitting on the turnbuckle. The resulting blow tends to knock them OUTSIDE the ring though.
Finisher: Lightning Knuckle - She jumps at the downed opponent and punches them really hard in the head. Usually from a moonsault off the ropes or from the top of the ring post.
Rainfall Bomb - Some things cannot be handled by punches to the face. And some cannot be handled by punches to the body (!!). And sometimes it is just more fun to slam your opponent to the mat with a powerbomb. (But not punch them afterwards. It's never cool to punch someone after a finisher. Have you never watched wrestling before?)
History: Being the only blonde child born to family of dark haired ladies going back six generations was enough to ensure Esther was more of a liability to filial peace than a welcome addition to her family. To that end, she had a carried a great deal of aggression through her youth. It was only when she took up boxing, hardly the hobby of a proper young lady, but she loved it. It was the perfect vent for all of her youthful aggression, and through most of school, her life was homework, training, and boxing. She ended up making a name for herself on the amateur circuits and had been about ready to shoot for the big leagues.
But, as fun as punching people was, she wanted to branch out, fight with more than just her fists. So she left. She partook in low card MMA fights and trained in new styles to round out her fundamentals. It was a different world, but she loved it. No matter what she learned, who she fought, being able to punch someone in the face or the gut hard, fast, and repeatedly was an extremely useful skill. She had finally managed to train herself out of her boxing background to bring the fight to the octagon only to catch a fight from AFW in the gym one night. I could do that... she had thought. Curious about the league, she had made some inquiries and before long she had a tryout. She had not thought much of it until she saw the amount on the contract the AFW offered. So much more than she would have made in the MMA league or boxing. She signed without a second thought.
