But if You Close Your Eyes

Talia was a little startled when someone else entered the locker room. Thankfully it was someone she didn't know. It didn't mean she was in the clear but at least it meant she didn't have to talk to him. The redhead continued packing things into her duffle bag. Sure he was rooting for her. Based on the amount of cheers there when her career ended, Talia knew better than to think anyone wanted her to win.

"Getting my things, what does it look like I'm doing?" Talia didn't look away from her locker. It suddenly felt horrible to have to say goodbye to her locker. "Need to move it all or else they'll throw it away or something."

Tai closed his locker, having gotten what he needed, before looking back, a confused expression on his face.

"Wait...why? I thought the rule was that the loser left Friction, not Friction AND Tension.."

Talia continued to pack up her duffle bag with gym clothes and even one of her alternate wrestling costumes. She rolled her eyes as if Tai had said something stupid. Of course it was only for friction. That didn't matter to her. "I know that. I'm not about to wrestle in tension again." Thankfully, it was around then that she finished removing all her stuff. "It's full of psychos I'd rather not deal with anymore."

"No offense." Without another word, Talia picked up her bag and made for the door. "It's not like I've really even wrestled before anyways. All I know is how to hit someone with a chair and that only got me so far." Talia took a few more steps towards the exit.

Tai watched as Talia finished packing, stating her intent to leave.


"None taken'

He said, sighing and shaking his head, heading over and opening the door for her, planning on heading out himself.

As she walked past though, he let out one last comment as he followed her out, turning to go the opposite way.


"You know, if I recall correctly.....Dark Angel was undefeated in Tension, wasn't she?"
