Winning Conditions: Whoever climbs the ladder and retrieves both belts will be declared the winner
Special Conditions: The winner of the match will become the unified Friction Champion

Deja vu begins to set in as two belts are slowly lowered from the rafters to a position only obtainable by a ladder. However, this time around instead of no champion, two will enter, both fighting to prove that they are the real champion of Friction.

As the lights dimmed one by one, leaving only the title belts hanging from the rafters illuminated until even those went dark. The crowd all hushed as they calmed down from the huge tag match, and got enough to drink so they could either cheer or boo the hell out of whoever was first out. And by the [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOUtdYKLYBg:1xwyy49c]music[/url:1xwyy49c] it was definitely time to boo the crap out of the self-proclaimed "Real World Champion" Adrian Kytes, as she waled down the ramp with a spotlight on her and a mic in hand, the music dying down as she walked.


"No doubt many of you do not expect me to honor my bargain tonight," she said calmly, still only lit up by a spotlight. "That you ave come to accept that my word isn't worth the air time it's broadcast over." she droned, while Adrian talking before a match was nothing unusual, how monotone she was being was just... off. Adrian was never this calm, if she was confident she was all jokey and would get right in the crowd's face while relaxed. If she was wound up tight then there would be clear signs of bubbling rage as she would yell her way to the ring "But I can personally assure you that tonight there will be no interference, that tonight I will leave here the Undisputed AFW champion and I will do it without deceit. Anything I do tonight will be above board, brutal, sickening, but above board by even regular match standards." The former cosplayer promised as she stepped through the ropes. "There is nothing up my sleeves or various pads, no poison mist in my throat, no friends in the back. And unlike my erstwhile opponent..."

A smug smile finally crept up as she bought the microphone to her lips once more "There is nothing unusual in my pants." She said, back to the more smooth trash talking as the music started back up, Angel had only left Adrian rattled for so long, and it was hard to keep the former cosplayer's ego down for long. Not that she wasn't focused as she leaned back in the corner. She knew that tonight was the biggest of her career thus far, and her first world title match on top of that. But considering last year she was in a nothing match lower down the card, working through a knee injury, she had made a lot of progress since her return. Claiming to be the real world champion, whether people liked it or not, had catapulted her to the forefront and actually drummed up a bit of interest in the title scene after the chaos of the previous year. By Adrian's accounts she had done this company a big favour and was now getting her reward for all the free publicity work she had done.

All she had to do was beat Angel in a ladder match, no small task. But you don't get high up in the world by only doing small tasks.

After Adrian had said her piece, the lights of the arena dimmed out again, going dark, leaving the entire arena in pitch blackness. Everything was silent for a moment, the audience hushed as they waited, waited for the next competitor to arrive, the anticipation for the Friction champion quite evident in the air. Then, with her [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxCsy0wPlIE:3l5bwrj0]music[/url:3l5bwrj0] suddenly playing over the arena's speakers, and a sudden spotlight shining down on the top of the entrance ramp, the crowd burst into cheers and applause, seeing the figure that they had all waited for.

Angel had arrived.

She stood there atop the ramp, staring down towards the ring, her heart pounding against her chest as she basked in the cheers and applause of the audience. This was it. This was her moment. For the first time, she was heading into a pay-per-view match not as a challenger, but as the champion. The only champion. No matter how much Adrian claimed she was the 'real' champion or whatever, Angel knew she wasn't. She was a pretender, a wannabe, and had done nothing to deserve her place in this match.

It didn't matter though. Angel was ready for this. She had a lot of reasons to dislike Adrian, everything from their Temple Games match the year before to her big night being ruined by the girl. She was ready, ready to vent on the girl, ready to take out all of her anger and frustration on the cosplayer.

She started down the ramp, the spotlight following her as she made her way towards the ring. She lifted a microphone to her lips as she started the walk down, staring at Adrian inside the ring. It was her turn to speak, and she would so, ranting back at Adrian in her native tongue of Spanish.

<You're dead tonight, Adrian>, she began, keeping her voice friendly, despite the cold words she was speaking. <I've been looking for an excuse to kick your ass again for too long now, and I couldn't be happier than you decided to give me a good reason to do it. By the time we're done here tonight, I'm going to leave you a broken, bloody mess, lying on the mat at me feet. You're going to learn what a real champion is like. You're going to learn firsthand why you shouldn't pick a fight with someone who's superior and better than you.>

She reached the steps to the ring, slowly climbing up them as she continued. <I'm going to kick your ass all over this ring. I'm going to take your stupid fake title and throw the damn thing away. There's only one champion in this company, and that's me. Not some washed-up, cheating, cowardly cosplayer who can't earn a real win without cheating or calling for interference from her giant dumb gorilla.> She slipped through the ropes and into the ring, starting to step towards Adrian, her gaze never leaving the girl.

<Tonight, girl? You're dead. Plain and simple.> With those words, Angel tossed her microphone to the side, suddenly throwing herself at Adrian, trying to tackle the girl to the mat. Fuck waiting for the bell, she decided. This match was getting started now.

Adrian never listened to high school Spanish classes, and so couldn't really understand what Angel was saying. No doubt if she ever wanted to look back at what was to be her crowning achievement with subtitles she'd probably slap herself for not responding well enough, but for now she had to try and phase out the noise and look what Angel was doing, a high stakes matchup like this between two people who pretty much wanted to brutalize the other, the former cosplayer needed to be alert.

Keeping a close eye as she assumed a stance to fight in instead of lounging in the corner, she was ready for the initial tackle, barrel rolling out of the way and letting Angel's charge be Angel's problem and not hers. While she'd love to just jump in and start swinging, she had a point to prove tonight, she was not only planning on brutalizing the Latina but humiliating her as well, proving that she was a superb wrestler in her own right and not just a cheat-o-matic 5000. Having the presence and the reaction to dodge the tackle was just the start to let Angel know that Adrian wasn't a pushover looking for a cheap win, tonight there wasn't going to be any excuses.

Angel went barreling past Adrian as the girl dodged out of her way, missing her initial, angry tackle. She stumbled past Adrian and just barely managed to catch her balance, righting herself back up straight and turning to face her opponent again.

"Not bad, chica," she muttered, raising up her arms into a defensive stance. She flashed Adrian a smirk and started to circle back in towards her. She was on her guard, ready for any cheap moves the girl might try to throw at her. She wasn't going to lose another match to Adrian thanks to some kind of trick or some kind of cheating! And while Adrian might have claimed that she was leaving the tricks behind for this match, Angel didn't believe her at all.

She moved in towards Adrian, keeping her arms raised, then suddenly would try to lunge in at her again. This time though, Angel was trying meet the cosplayer head on, trying to lock up with her and force the girl into a grapple with her.

Adrian got back up to her feet after Angel's initial reckless charge, that would hopefully take the worst out of the initial blast and cool Angels jets. Although whether she wanted Angel to be calm and more focused was probably a fair question, an angry opponent often makes mistakes. But then again an angry opponent kicks the crap out of you quicker and it's hard to capitalize on mistakes when you're seeing double. Circling around the ring, this time she didn't going to dodge Angel's charge and instead accepted the lock up.

One hand on the collar and one on the elbow she attempted to stand firm as the two clashed in a battle of strength and technique. Adrian had the height advantage but Angel was more used to lifting and throwing than the more cruiserweight based offense of the former cosplayer, giving the Latina the upper hand as the American started to be forced back.

Angel glared at Adrian, her arms flexing as she started to force the taller girl back. She grit her teeth in determination, a bead of sweat already dripping down the side of her face as she vied with the American. She could feel she had the advantage, she just needed to maintain it.

With a low groan, she took a step forward, then another, trying to push back on Adrian. She was trying to force her towards the corner of the ring, trying to push her there and trap her between herself and the corner, where she felt she had the best chance at this point of getting a good assault going on Adrian. She just had to hope that the cosplayer didn't find some way of turning the tables on her.

"Gah..." Adrian grunted as she was pinned to the corner, failing at hiding her discomfort of being held against 3 pads that weren't that padded enough to make this position not a pain, and her displeasure at being beaten in a test of strength. At least she was making Angel work for what she could get as the sweat started to appear on both competitors foreheads. Just resisting the urge to give a quick thumb to the eye, if she was going to turn the tables on Angel, she'd have to actually think of a lrgit way and not just fall back on instinctive shortcuts

"Gotcha..." Angel hissed, as she shoved Adrian against the corner. She had her right where she wanted her, trapped with nowhere to go!

She pushed against Adrian for a moment longer, relishing in the feeling of having the cosplayer trapped, of having her stuck between herself and the corner. She wished she could hold this position forever, just enjoying the feeling of having Adrian trapped like that. She had a match to win though. There was no time for her to get lost in the moment. Holding her position for just a brief moment more, the Latina suddenly brought up her knee, aiming it straight for Adrian's midsection, trying to drive it fast and hard into the woman's body.

"So?" Adrian snapped back, trying to make the best of a bad situation as Angel pinned her to the corner. A situation only made worse as the latina beauty pressed her advantage with a hard knee to the mid section. "Ugh..." the cosplayer groaned, quickly breaking off the clinch to grab the top ropes, trying to prevent herself from doubling over too much. A lot of the wind got driven right out of the brunette's sails, first blood to Angel and a long uphill battle ahead.
