"J...just force of habit, you know how it happens.", Lia covered her mistake quickly, hoping John wouldn't ask too deep about it. She didn't want to put down his mood in the middle of the party. "I'll tell you more about it later, I guess.", whispered into his ear before she got up and picked up another cup of water.

"Sure if that's what you want." John said in an honest tone.

He crossed his legs and took a small sip of his water, sighing happily as things were going great for him and Lia.
John would wait for Lia to sit down next to him and ask "So you enjoying yourself so far? Your happiness is one of my top priorities." grinning after he said that.

Lia listened in as she walked back"You haven't let me down yet, and this has been the best dance I've ever been to!", she laughed, since it was her first anyways. She sat down and smiled at John, "Well, the night's not ending anytime soon, should we get back onto the floor?", even Lia could recognize the sounds of Bon Jovi's [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXsmGSnq3lE:2nkecth9]Living on a Prayer[/url:2nkecth9] blasting from the speakers now.

When John heard the song play his mouth went wide "Ah...Living on a prayer.....It speaks to me." he said in a dramatic tone.

He'd down his water in one and then stand up, offering Lia his hand to hold in a theatrical manner "C'mon my dear....This song will guide us to the light at the end of the tunnel." he muttered to her, then winking at her as well.

The art student would guide Lia to the dance floor and move in time with the music, watching Lia the whole time.

The silver headed girl took the offered hand and walked together back to the dancefloor. "Ha! This song's going to take us over until the night is done?", Lia replied as the pair shifted together, it was a pretty romantic song, at least for such a heavy rock song, or maybe it was just that she was here with John. She pumped up energitcally at a few of the power chords, it was just one of those songs that she couldn't resist doing so.

John had a chesire cat grin adorning his lips as he copied Lia's motions along with the chords. He was singing the lyrics out loud as they blasted out of the speakers, everything was going ship shape and Bristol fashion here.

As the song was nearing it's end he'd hug Lia and put his chin on top of her head and mutter "Why don't we head up to the top floor? They got this great view of the sky there." breaking the hug to take Lia's hand.

"Aww... well, the stars are quite nice to watch too, and it's a bit crowded now I guess.". She looked at John's deep blue eyes, and followed his lead back up the stairs. They walked by a few other dancers and party-goers, she decided to ask him something. "Hey John? Just kinda of a random question. Why'd you choose me?"

John turned his head to focus on Lia as she asked him a question, his eyes widened and he said "Ah....Well...You see I was entranced by your how you looked Lia."

He stopped going up the stairs and sheepishly rubbed the back of his head and he'd go on with "Your silvery hair and your eyes, I just found them to be....Like a piece of art that was to be appreciated."

The art student would hold her hand and said "Come on, only a few more floors to reach the view." leading onwards to their destination.

She smiled at her love's response. It was just corny enough to make her smile, but still very heartfelt. "I'll probably have to work hard to keep up that image then!" The pair were almost at the top of the stairs now, and Lia was quite eager to get there now, John's endorsement and her own natural preferences made the idea of stargazing with John quite good in her mind.

Mr Carnaby walked up the stairs further and said "Alright we're here, let me just open this door." he muttered.

With that he led her out to a balcony where the night sky and city could be seen.


"I've never really been here, I heard about it but as it's not on my floor I saw no real reason to head here." the art student rested on a seat nearby the balcony and moved one next to him for Lia.

"But for you I'd go anywhere." he'd wink at her and grin.
