"Okay if you say so...." he said back to her.

When she slumped into his body he blushed again "Could it be?..." he thought.
The art student looked up into the lights and then back to Lia. The nagging tugs of emotion were pulling at him again, though he was an art student and had seen more than one naked woman he hadn't actually dated one yet. He knew how to be nice and all but had been too busy getting to college to think about that sort of thing.

Before John could think more his body and heart had already went into motion, he silently pecked her on the head.
He would let out a small gasp as he realised he had already fallen in love with her.

Lia just leaned back and did what felt most natural to her. Which right now was just to curl back into John's body. As far as Lia knew, they weren't fighting, and she could hardly remember if they ever were.

And when the artist leaned in to her, she could feel only the gentlest pressure on her forehead, and at the same time it felt like the entire universe had crashed into her, exactly where John was right now. In a voice that was barely a whisper, Lia called to him. "John... Are we... doing this?"

She didn't say anything else. She couldn't say anything else. She just was here.

John heard Lia's words as they reached his ears, in his mind the world was drowned out and it was just them.
He silently breathed in and out, he could feel her heartbeat.

The art student wrapped his arms around her and muttered "Lia-chan....."

He'd sit up with her in his arms, looking into her eyes and whispering back "Please.....Accept my feelings for you...."
John would move forwards, bringing his soft lips to hers and keeping his eyes focused on hers. He would mutter her name again as he did this.

Lia's mind was flying high. She wasn't sure if this was real, a dream or even if she had died and had ended up somewhere entirely else. And honestly, right now she didn't care. She was just lost in John.

"John... I... Yes. Of course." And with those words hanging there, she turned her head around and kissed him on the lips. She might have been blushing and burning red in the face, but it didn't matter right now. She just really wanted this moment and nothing else.

"She kissed me back!!" his mind thought to itself.

He would hold her head with one hand and use his other to support her back, they were just sitting in the ring making out. But John knew all about romance, he'd never actually gone out on a date or anything like that. But he knew how to kiss.

A short while later he'd need to stop and catch his breath, as he panted a little he muttered "Now you know.....I wish to be with you....For as long as you will let me love you....."

He'd then stand up with her in his arms princess carry style.

What did I just do? He's gonna run away now. I know it. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. and similar thoughts were running through Lia's head. She had never had someone love her before, and she was quite sure that John would be no different.

But upon hearing John's words, Lia cried. She cried because for once in her life something didn't end in complete disaster for her. She cried that someone she got close to didn't hate her.

"Thank you... so much. John. You're... amazing. So... so amazing."

When John saw Lia crying he stopped carrying her and instead hugged her "It's okay Lia..." he muttered to her.

He blushed a little when she called him amazing "Well I'm just John Carnaby, an art student and wrestler."
John gave a small laugh and said "And now I'm boyfriend to the beautiful Lia Harrison."

Just then the art student looked at the clock and said "It's getting late my dear, how about we get you home? If you have a bike or something we can put it in the trunk of my car, if you want to that is."

Lia giggled at John's words and replied "And I'm girlfriend to the very talented and handsome John Carnaby"

Lia hugged John back, but she looked past him and into the window. Noticing that the sun was indeed already setting. It had seemed like so little time and yet it had already been a few hours.

"Well, actually... I took the train here from Tokyo. This is... Kyoto right? I think it's kinda too far away, I'll just go back tomorrow." She was pretty much asking to stay with John for the night, but she could hardly say those exact words.

"I don't really know enough of Japan to know for certain, but if you took the train odds are they'll be closing up." John said to her.

"Well we can head to my place, it's just down the street." the art student said as he got out the ring, holding the ropes to let Lia out easily.

Once she was ready John would get his outfit on, with the white shirt and blue trenchcoat and escort her to a building a couple of stone throws away from the gym. Passing his red 1959 Chevrolet bel air as they walked up to the door.

The apartment consisted of 3 rooms, a bathroom which was plain overall. A kitchen filled with British food. The living room was the main part, with a blank canvas in one corner with art materials next to it. A large red sofa that had a switch that let it turn into a bed for two and a wall mounted plasma screen TV opposite it. A window showed the street below and a small union jack flag was put into another corner.

"Ah I ain't really sat down all day, shall we kick back and watch TV?" John offered as they entered.

Lia happily nodded when John suggested they go to his house. She picked up her shirt from the corner of the ring where she tossed it, and put it back on. Quickly following John, she hugged him around the back as they went through the door.

"This is a really nice place! If you ever come to mine, I'm gonna have to clean it up a bit to compare!, as she took her the surroundings that made up John's living space. Compared to hers, it was pretty well-furnished, as before coming to the AFW her income was meager at best.

"Sure thing! It's been a pretty busy day for me. Not that I'm complaining of course!", as she immediately collapsed onto the couch. Although they didn't get that intense during their "sparring" session, she was already quite tired from the accumulated running, biking and whatnot she'd done that day and couldn't resist sitting down.
