While I agree that there needs to be a public venting of grievances...I think there's also a good point that it started out in a passive aggressive way.

THAT'S why only now, when a few people made detailed posts, things are coming to light.

The moral of the story is that rash words aren't helping. So let's put aside how the thread began, and concentrate on trying to resolve what can be resolved.

As we're at this point right now with bitching and moaning:
*If you write themes with the same 3 or less people over the course of months and no one else, you're either not as popular as you think despite being a veteran or simply cliqued. At this point you have basically forgone your right to point with fingers on other people in that matter in my opinion.
*Thread abandoning is really weak and disrepectful. Everyone understands that you could be busy, but is it too much to resume when you return or ask if the thread can be brought to a quick end instead of having it end in a cliffhanger nobody profits from?
*So you're a real life badass and know how a kimura hurts in reality and have a very sharp concept how the move you do has to work. So what? If I'd have corrected anyone that misunderstood me or saw another action going down as I thought, I'd spent 70%+ here with writing PMs. Get over it and adapt accordingly. It's fantasy RPG, not MMA mainevent.
*Thrash talking behind someone's back is low, really low. The AFW title scene may be a mess right now with sour grapes everywhere, but have some faith in the mods to select the right person for a certain job. Underdog as challenger came out of nowhere for me, but I like that seniority probably played a part in that too. In conclusion: Speak up or shut up, but don't resort to backhand tactics.
*Speaking of veterans, I also think the verbal degradation of people that carried belts for literally years without being gone for months or problematic is outrageous. If someone asked me if I would like a far above average and proven champion more than a sloppy genius champion who shows up only if he sees fit too, I'd take the first alternative without thinking further about it. It's grease that keeps a machine running over long times, not rocket fuel.
*Look out for your people. If your proven draws and promising newcomers feel like their not appreciated or even shunned, they'll gonna leave and you will be forced to elevate anyone that's left, maybe even people you'd find not acceptable for a PPV elsewise.
