Introduction & Clarification

If you wanted to use a canon character's pictures, like a Wrestle Angel's girl, and make up your own name and profile for that girl and not associate her with WA League in anyw ay, you can certainly do that. It's been done before.

We've actually been talking about that recently though. If someone IS using pics, you should ask them, but more and more we are leaning towards the side of allowing clones. I.E. if two people want to use the same "character" one wants to play a canon and one wants to play an original, then, as long as they are mostly using DIFFERENT pics, then it should be fine. If you want to outright use other people's character's pics, then you definitely need permission before you can have a clone. For example, there are are like half a dozen Miku Miku Dance Luca's on the site, and I don't think any of the character pics are the same nor are any of the girl's personalities, etc.

People usually make new comers because it is easier to play a newcomer when you are one. There is no rule forbidding you from making well established characters but ask the mods for approval before doing anything crazy. Making characters that are former champions may not be a good idea. If you are planning on making a character who has a back story with another character make sure to ask the player of that character before writing anything.

I don't think there is an actual OFFICIAL ruling on this o.O No one's ever really asked. Most people who want experienced wrestlers have a backstory that has developed them gaining experience in other leagues first and then coming to the AFW. The issue I personally take with it, is Who has this person won and lost to? I mean... I personally have rped the existance of an "AFW developmental" league, but a lot of that had to do with necessity for rp purposes. The AFW in general is a very "Trial by fire" league.

I'd advise against it personally. Or, send a pm to a mod with more detail on what you're looking to do so we can talk about it and give you a proper answer.

The star points, percentage points and letter ranks system are completely useless and meaningless. I have a character that specifically has more stars that all other characters for the lulz. Some people use them guides for roleplaying but it is not really a standard. Don't expect anyone to think much of your twelve stars in hand-eye coordination.

pretty much this. It's more a personal guideline than any real indicator. Some people use a ten scale, most use a five-star scale. it less indicates how good someone ACTUALLY is and more a quick reference of "what to expect" when facing a girl. 'Oh, this girl has five stars in strength and two in speed, she's probably a powerhouse.' to give you an example.
