Smashing idea, you should get to it!

Hoh, that's entirely different from the story I had imagined.

My own mental ramblings had been that there had been a young man, a bookish sort who spent most of his time surfing the web, who had been exploring the old family manor in some black corner of the world, when he stumbled upon an old favor from someone called The Weaver Of Stories, made out to an ancestor many times removed. Interest piqued, he'd follow the instructions on redeeming the favor, wondering idly if he was just wasting his time...

And of course he wasn't. The Weaver Of Stories turned out to be a very old and very powerful member of The Gentry. (The Gentry being the strongest and oldest of the fair folk, who were the strongest and oldest of the regular fae creatures. I kind of like the fae.) Stunned nearly speechless by the power suddenly before him, he wished quickly and foolishy for the first thing that came to his mind - namely, that all his dreams could come true.

Seeing as this fellow dreamed of magic and sexiness with a side of wrestling (due to his specific set of fetishes), The Weaver Of Stories would nod sagely and cast out his threads, searching for powerful, bored minds who would be interested in this kind of thing. Using its considerable power, the Weaver would create a lodestone world, fabricate a league with fantastic prizes and great renown for victory, and then place the young man as the head of the entire organization.

Then time skip some ten years forward and bob's your uncle.

He would be powerless himself, but put in charge by the thing which made everything work. Note that the thing is definitely a thing - The Weaver is not very human at all.

But, man, that's just my ideas and stuff. Y'all can like, do your mod thing, and have the physicist and the science and the female GMs and all that good stuff iffin ya want. ^_^

I don't care about flurries or feathers... but I have characters in alternative. Characters that RULE those forums

Ehm... how so?

By rule, do you mean you've created characters who control and decide how the entire universe works? If you don't care about FnF, why did you make these characters in such positions of power?

I believe that Alternative has a less established setting than FnF (not that FnF has much of an established setting at all) - so can an alternative character run things?

And how would your characters prevent a male GM from running the show? Why would they care?

You can't say no male GMs on an out of character whim and then use characters which exist in setting to justify your opinion. That seems a bit unfair to me.

I'd like to state that I'm alright with there not being a male GM, but I find your response curious and a bit disconcerting.
