As a first outing for this rebooted account, I'd like to engage some opponent in a matroom, or something equivalent, with a focus on BJJ, Catch Wrestling, MMA, etc. It can range from actual training (preferably of the character I play but I can do yours even if I'd like further teaching for BJJ.) to an extreme match. About last month or so my girlfriend and I broke up, it was a peaceful break up though and I understood and was okay with why she wanted to break up with me and we remain friends still, but a few weeks ago I started to suffer from depression. At first I didn't know why and it had been eating away for a long time, but 3 weeks ago I realized I am depressed over breaking up with my girlfriend whom I still love very much. It wasn't bad at first but now its gotten bad, I think whats making it worse was that I see my ex everyday at school and that we still hang out and talk.... and hug before we leave school. We said that some time much later we can try to get back together again but.... I don't know.... can someone help me out here or give me advice?

I wish I could be more of a help in this case, Cyberbeast. All I can say is, seek solace in your friends. My sister went through an ugly breakup a few months back, and her friends and family have been her bedrock for dealing with the aftermath. Because right now, what you need is some strong emotional support and some fun thing to distract you from your depression.

I can relate to you sir. My girlfriend broke up with me about a year ago.
Granted I still keep in contact with her. And yes the thoughts of the past enter my mind sometimes, but you still have the rest of your life ahead to make yourself feel better.

I've never had much issues with depression, but you can always try something that distracts you or calms you down. For me that's writing fanfics, lyrics, drawing, or -dare I say it- studying. And then there's talking to us too! XD We're here for you bud!

As someone who has been through depression and is still trying to get over it, I think I can offer a little bit of advice. Forget about the girl. Pining after her and hoping that you can get back together is only going to make things worse. You've already found a girlfriend once, go find another one. Someone better, someone more suitable. Because here's the truth, she doesn't love you. She broke up with you after all. And hoping to get back together isn't going to make her love you again. You're just going to hurt yourself more. So take a step back, reevaluate yourself, think about what makes you happy other than this girl. And go do those things, because once you're happy, if she truly loved you she would naturally come back. And if she didn't, then there will be plenty of girls who will.
