A Battle of Submissions- Rei Tomizawa vs Lucy Stone

Rei grunted as Lucy kicked her in the knee causing her to fall back down to one knee. instead falling onto her back. She let out a sharp cry as Lucy kicked her hard into her chest. She wheezed as she was sent flat on her back but, Rei still refused to let go of Lucy as she kept a firm hold on the girl's foot. While on her back, she tucked Lucy's ankle under her arm securing it making it hard for her to pull it free.

"N-not today Kiddo..." Rei grinned with one eye open.

The girl would roll over hugging Lucy's ankle with her forcing her to turn over as well or she would experience pain similar to an ankle lock. Rei would try and put Lucy into a single leg Boston crab submission.

Lucy's eyes went a bit wide as she didn't seem to get her leg free despite her kicks to Rei's body and soon found the girl wrenching on it ready to do something. The red head was helpless at the moment to try and fight back as she was quickly turned around and rolled Lucy onto her stomach and with that she soon started to feel Rei start to pull her leg back and seat herself on top of her back.

With that Lucy winced before she was forced the grit her teeth and try her best to not let out any signs of how much pain this boston crab hold was causing her. The red headed wrestler soon started to shake her head and pound her fist against the mat in frustration as she was held in this hold by Rei.

Rei chuckled lowly to herself, shaking her head as she locked Lucy into the single Boston crab submission. Rei stuck out her tongue making a rather childish sound before she got to work. Rei wanted to show Lucy just who she was dealing with and how much of a threat she was on the ground. Although the Cosplay fighter didn't look very bright she was very knowledgeable and resourceful when it came to her ground work and submissions. For instance, hearing Lucy's fist slam on the mat, Rei knew Lucy's neck was now vulnerable. Rei would turn 90 degrees and reach to clutch the girl's chin tightly. Once securing Lucy's neck, rei would plant both knees into Lucy's back and flip both of them over into a devastating hold.

Smirking as she would apply a variation of bow and arrow submission except with one of Lucy's legs free. Rei would dive her knees up and pull down on both Lucy's chin and her ankle.

Lucy grit her teeth as she found herself still stuck in Rei's submission hold and she found that at the moment it was difficult to find a way out of the hold, but soon enough she seemed to get some help from Rei as the girl moved her hand in under to clasp it under Lucy's chin, with that Lucy's closest arm that hadn't pounded against the mat went up to grasp that hand and slow Rei down as she would then try and grip the hand with both hands and then attempt to twist the girl's wrists around as best as she could in an attempt to put Rei in a makeshift wrist lock.

Though that wouldn't be the end of it, for the red headed wrestler would quickly attempt and pull on that arm to try and get Rei off of her, attempting to twist it around a bit in order to try and roll and get Rei off of her back whilst keeping in the hold on the hand.

"Tsk...Not bad.... for a rookie." Rei saw that Lucy wasn't incompetent when it came to submissions and she was indeed not to be underestimated. The Submission expert knew she couldn't maintain the submission hold for long, she knew it was only going to be for a short period of time. Rei grunted as she felt her wrist being under duress, she was forced to abandon the hold on Lucy's chin. The Cosplay fighter felt Lucy trying to twist her arm, Rei would make her arm squirm delaying Lucy's attack enough for her to come up with a counter attack. Knowing this submission was now a lost cause and with nothing keeping Lucy's head down, she would drive her shin into Lucy's back to bump her up giving both of them some space before planting her foot behind Lucy's back. Rei would straighten her leg to force Lucy into a standing position.

Rei, on the other hand, would do a backwards summersault before sprouting up to her feet.

Lucy tried her best to fight against Rei and grab onto the girl's arm, but as she had manged to get a hold of Rei's arm and tried to twist it around she could feel the purple haired girl squirm around like she did which did slow down her assault on Rei's wrist and with that she was easily handled by Rei's legs and forced up into a standing position with what Rei was doing to her. The Action causing Lucy to grit her teeth in mild annoyance, but as soon as Rei let go of her Lucy spun around and would dart off the mat towards Rei, so right when Rei landed on her feet Lucy would throw her leg up and attempt to hit the girl hard in the head with a high kick to the side of her purple haired head. " Not bad yourself..." Lucy let out as she took a second to try and think of something to call Rei, and the only thing she could think of was to make fun of Rei's last name, " Tomato-sauce." Lucy let out and chuckled a bit on how stupid of an insult that was, but still it was childish and stupid but it was an insult technically, with how much Japanese culture is built around respect through names it seemed fitting to insult someone via their name.

"Ghhh!" Rei grunted as Lucy advanced not giving her proper time tome to ready herself as the girl's leg crashed into the side of her head. The Cosplay Fighter hissed as she shut one eye nearly falling onto one side as the tips of her fingers tapped on the ground as she backed away from Lucy and against the ropes stumbling. Rei was dazed by that last strike as she heard a sharp metallic sound ring through her ears. Rei wasn't the best with strikes but she knew she had to get better at them. The Cosplay Fighter had been training constantly to improve on her striking and now would be a good time to show the results of her training. Rei raised her fists into a boxing stance as she supported herself against the ropes.

Lucy watched as her kick smashed into the side of Rei's head and following which she watched the purple haired girl stagger back much like she did towards the ropes, Lucy got up straight and moved into position, placing her side facing towards Rei to make the target smaller for any strikes to hit, as she turned her head and readied her arms and legs, looking on at Rei as she did Lucy got herself ready and started to move her way over towards the girl, looking on at her for a few seconds as she saw Rei raised her fist like she did.

Lucy would quickly attempt to head up towards the girl and try and throw her leg out for a swift kick aimed at Rei's shin, attempting a quick shin kick to try and take away a bit of the girl's stability. If that worked then Lucy would quickly attempt and try and grab a hold of a handful of Rei's hair to attempt and pull the girl's head down, only to swiftly attempt and kick up her other leg to attempt and hit Rei's forehead with a knee kick.

Rei leaned heavily against the ropes as Lucy came in and kicked her shin with a solid thud. The Cosplay Fighter hissed as she stayed frozen against the turnbuckle as she endured it knowing better than to let it bother her or compromise her balance. Rei hid behind her hands as the swift red head girl came straight at her and grabbed at her hair to pull her down. Rei winced as her opponent did this as she tried to slam her knee into her face as Rei blocked the knee with her arms. Rei's head flew backward regardless of the fact she blocked it as she leaned against the ropes again. Slightly out of breath, Rei decided to stay on the offensive as she used the spring of the ropes to launch her forward.

"Hyah! Hah! huh!" Rei threw a one two combination at the red head's face before following up with a left uppercut.

Rei had a feeling her strikes would miss as she knew how elusive Lucy was and would instead grab at the girl's red hair as she dodged her. The Cosplay Fighter would grab her hair and pull her in for a full power headbutt. Trying to bash her skull against Lucy's to disorient her before she went in for her own attack.

Lucy's eyes went a bit wide as she felt what her knee connected with, it didn't feel like a skull at all, it felt more as if she only managed to hit the girl's arms, it seemed as if Rei blocked her knee strike, which near instantly made a few warning alarms go off in the back of her head, something that quickly made Lucy try and push herself back, and it seemed as if she did the right thing, for as soon as she did so she saw Rei come at her with those punches and with the her quick speedy reflexes, all of which quickly let to Lucy trying to back away from Rei's assault.

But as she did so she felt something thug on her hair as she was soon pulled close to Rei, something she didn't wanna be, but there was something that she could do about it. Lucy would quickly attempt and shoot her leg up for a frontal kick and attempt to drive the sole of her boot into Rei's stomach to try and push herself away from Rei and stop whatever Rei was thinking about doing. " Learn to fight before you try to do it for reals!"
