Claire St. Clair vs. Iowa Demacio – Strip Boxing Battle!

Claire was shocked by how quickly Iowa had recovered from her knockdown. Surely she should have been a little groggy, a little slow! Claire had been certain that her opponent would have put up a cautious defense. Instead, she was shocked as Iowa ducked beneath her jab and pounded her gloved fists into her stomach, doubling the black-haired kawaii over. And then came the uppercut.

In a matter of seconds, Claire had gone from knocking her opponent down to being knocked down herself. She tumbled backwards onto her butt, rubbing her jaw with one gloved hand and looking up at Iowa with a dumbfounded expression on her face.

Iowa spit out her mouth piece again, bent over, and placed her hands on her hips.

"Told ya! Tit. For. Tat."

Iowa was overflowing with pride and confidence after knocking down Claire in mere seconds. She warned her that this was going to happen, but she seemed a bit skeptical. She showed her!

"Betcha wish ya didn't land that haymaker, huh?"

Iowa knelt down to her opponent, and reached for her shirt. "Just kidding!" She removed her opponent's boots instead, legitimately making them equal.

"I admit, the guys in the audience aren't gonna be happy..." she shrugged, feeling a bit embarrassed that both her and Claire might be receiving some heat from going so easily. "But, they're gonna get what they want eventually..." she sighed.

Iowa stood up. "Now it's your turn to show your stuff, but just keep in mind: that was a display of coming attractions." She popped her mouthpiece back in and got ready to fight.

Spitting out her own mouthpiece as she stared up at her temporarily victorious opponent, Claire scoffed. “You got lucky there, Iowa. You got some good hits in in the first round, and when you got me with that uppercut I just…”

She trailed off. She wasnâ€t about to go pointing out all of her own weak points. Iowa would have to discover those for herself, just as Claire would discover hers.

When the girl reached for Claireâ€s shirt, the black-haired kawaiiâ€s face would go pale for an instant, before realizing that it was just a joke. She laughed as Iowa slipped off her boots and put them on what was literally an even footing. “The guysâ€ll get what they want in time. The wait makes it that much sweeter, doesnâ€t it?”

Hopping to her feet, Claire popped her mouthpiece back in and put her gloved fists up, ready for the next phase of their battle.

Iowa feigned a few easily dodgable punches, hoping to trick Claire into a rapid assault by seeing her next move.

Claire was not about to get cocky or overconfident here. The speed with which Iowa had knocked her down had been ridiculous, and she was taking this boxing battle very, very seriously. Besides, Claire was a defensive fighter at heart—she had no problem waiting for her opponent to come after her, rather than going after the girl herself.

When Iowa feigned throwing a few punches her way, Claire flinched and brought her gloves up to shield her face. When the punches didnâ€t arrive, the black-haired girl took the opportunity to reassure herself. She had scored the first knockdown, after all; the two of them were pretty even. Why not see if she can mess with Iowa the way Iowa was messing with her?

With that in mind, Claire would throw a few feints of her own, trying to get Iowa to do something rash.

Iowa noticed Claire throw a punch to counter, and thought it was her chance! She quickly knelt down and tried to hook hard into Claire's stomach, hoping to throw her on the ropes.

Claireâ€s punch whiffed over Iowaâ€s head. Her foe was going to try to use the same trick again, huh? The black-haired kawaii was not going to let herself get taken in for a second time. When Iowa ducked down and tried to throw her gloved fist into Claireâ€s stomach, Claire would spin to the side, letting the leather graze her side, but avoiding any serious damage.

“Ha!” she would yell, aiming a punch straight for Iowaâ€s face, trying to take advantage of the girlâ€s position lower to the ground to send her sprawling to the mat.

"She caught on!" Iowa realised, as Claire's fist drove into her face. She winced in pain, before deciding that she won't be able to rush Claire. She's gonna have to draw her out. So, Iowa decided to do something that she does best; taunt! She backed off a little to do so.

Iowa put both hands behind her head, popping out her mouthpiece as well. "You and the floor make a good couple!" she said, winking at her opponent. She stretched out her flexible body a bit, before putting her mouthpiece back in, hoping for Claire to get flustered and make a move.

Claire wasnâ€t one to get flustered too easily, especially when she thought that her opponent was probably joking when she taunted her. And she was pretty sure right now that Iowa was just fooling around, trying to get her to make a bad decision—something about the cute way she said it and the little wink she gave Claire tipped the black-haired kawaii off to her intentions.

Claire decided to taunt her opponent right back. Spitting out her mouthguard, Claire smiled and said: “You think so? The way you were kissing with it earlier, I thought that it was already spoken for.”

She would put her mouthguard back in and put her gloves up, slowly closing with Iowa. She was going to take the middle ground in this one: not quite staying back on the defensive, not quite going on the attack, but throwing a few punches at Iowa and hopefully being able to anticipate and block those that Iowa threw in return. Claire would throw another jab, wanting to test her opponentâ€s preparedness.

Iowa got a bit flustered at that comment, and blockking the jab that was passed to her, she went back on the offensive, throwing a few jabs her opponent's way as well.
