Flocking Together

Lukretia was stopped by Cassie's words long before she was glomped by the energetic red head. Her brow furrowed and she was about to speak when Cassie hugged her. She stiffened enough to brace herself but not to give Cassie a rigid sensation. She let out a faint breath but kept a cool demeanor as Cassie thanked her. She looked neither aggravated nor overjoyed by the affection. Really, it was quite a foreign thing to the German who used affection as a tool more than anything else.

As the hug stretched on, Lukretia's cheeks turned the faintest red from the contact. She'd embraced women every day but not in this manner. She let out a sigh and pulled her hand up. She ran her fingers through Cassie's her and patted the back of her head. "You remind me of someone I know, Fraulein." She said with a sigh.

Both of Lukretia's hands wrapped around Cassie's shoulders and she squeezed ever so tightly, as if she was testing out how it felt. It was... nice. Part of her enjoyed it and part of her hated it with more passion than she could muster for most things. After a long moment, she slowly eased out of the hug and looked at Cassie. She touched her slightly flushed cheek.

"Und for zat, I thank you as vell." She said, referring to the hug as she smiled softly at Cassie. She then furrowed her brow. "But Fraulein, make no mistake. If I can do vhat I do to her, zen it vill be no issue to do vhatever I have to to you as vell. It is no threat, but I vill never rest until ze people I care for live up to zere potential, no matter how much it may hurt both of us."

By the time she was finished, she was barely even talking to Cassie. Her fists was clenched and shaking and her eyes stared daggers into the air behind Cassie. She shook her head, her chocolate hair waving softly. "Now, really I must go. I am a busy voman und so are you, I hope." She said looking at Cassie with a stern face.

Cassie nodded. She was busy. Ish. She should be busy. With her upcoming matches, she had a lot or preparation to do, and she always made time for her friends and her hobbies. She had a small but rapidly expanding window garden that she tended meticulously. She loved it so much.

She met Lukretia's gaze, but she wasn't nothing like stern. She opened her mouth to speak, but her mouth felt dry and nothing came out at first. She tried again.

"I'm going to help you reach your potential too." She said, and left it at that.

With a sincere little smile, Cassie turned and continued on down the hall, reaching behind her to pull her jacket out of her backpack as she went. It was time to go home for some quiet.
