Training in a forest cave

Xerxan tosses in turns on his bedroll as he had his memories bombarding his mind making him so full of regret all the killing he did just to try and make his mother love him which will never happen.

Arasinya was then sobbing as she tossed and turned on her bedroll in the memory of Xerxan killing a couple of elves in the past. She wanted to help Xerxan, but how?

He walks up seeing her distressed about something keeps his distance from her not sure what is wrong not knowing his mother feed her a lie to damage the trust they slowly built over the time.

When Arasinya finally awoke, she sat up straight in bed as she breathed heavily and wiped her tears. She saw her friend beside her and she was afraid as she said, "Xerxan...I just had the most horrible dream." She would turn away to try not to show any doubts for him.

"I am here to listen if you want to talk about your dream, and I was worried when I woke up seeing you in the thralls of the bad dream."

Arasinya would respond, "I don't think you'll understand...I saw your...your...your mother."

You can clearly see he is now terrified instead of his normal calm personality when you mention you met with his mother knowing his location now along with what ever lies she feed you. He says " I will accept what ever your choice to be around me after meeting with her like you did" he walks away figuring you probably believed the one of the lies she told you about his past.

Arasinya slowly turned to face Xerxan and said, "I've seen what you mean when you didn't want to use your moves on me. And I've seen you kill many of your enemies. Do you kill elves too?"

"The only other elven person I fought in the arena was drow that was given to my mother to punish, but not to kill because they still had value." " You are the first surface elf that I even fought in a spar or actually fighting match."

Arasinya listened to Xerxan and paused in trying to understand. He only punished one elf, but would that change for her? "How can I be certain of this? I felt you almost killed me yesterday."
