Training in a forest cave

" It is so hard knowing I was born an as enemy of your kin figuring many will try and trick me into causing the problems required to have me killed."

"That may be how you were raised, but it's not too late to change. You just need a friend to help you get through."

" I am more scared I will fall back too deeply to my focused state I used while in my mothers arena which I wish I could share with you the memories of what I did so you would understand why I am so scared." He slowly finishes his meal clearly their conversation is bringing up memories he didn't want to remember making him shake in fear from them.

Arasinya came to Xerxan and placed her hand on his shoulder. "If it's personal and bothersome to you, you don't have to tell me about them now. Maybe we can discuss it tomorrow morning?"

" They are memories of my many battles in my mothers arena which aren't too pleasant to recall."

"I understand, Xerxan, but that was a long time ago. We just have to try and make up what we can still do for the present. And I'm here for you." Arasinya placed her hand on Xerxan's to try and reassure him.

" The memories just pop in sometimes when I am resting because I am so relaxed my defenses drop. Thanks, but there must be something I will have to do so the memories don't feel as harsh."

"Alright," said Arasinya with a nod. "I guess it will be up to you then. You know better of this than I do."

" I guess there is no point in delaying going to your village even though I hope I am not getting you in trouble by going with you to there. I guess we should leave fresh in the morning before I get too nervous to even make the attempt."

Arasinya smiled as she hugged him to reassure him. "You won't, Xerxan. And like I said, my village will listen to me as they'll listen to you. In that case, we better start cleaning up." Releasing Xerxan, she began to pick up her scraps and extra fish bones in a spare bag to toss it to the other animals so they won't come into the cave.
