Dojo Days, a Surprise Chance (For Daemongirl)

Ayame had been living in the city for a month or so now but had yet to find herself a proper gym to practice her forms at, she had been using the AFW gym until now but after the fifteenth or so person had hit on her thinking she would climb into bed with them with just a few kind words she had felt the need for a change. An ad in the local paper had led her to this place, which from the outside looked to be rather small and simple in its design much like her father's dojo, and after a quick look around she had decided it would be a great place to practice without having to worry about everyone staring at her creepily.

She had been coming to the dojo for a couple weeks now always arriving and leaving at the same time each visit, but today she had been a little late thanks to a surprise visit from her dad so she had already changed into her training clothes and had run down to the dojo. She wore a loose fitting purple coat and pants, roomy enough for her to move around in with ease, stepping into the dojo amidst a few welcomes and hellos.

Ayame bowed her head and thanked the various people who had welcomed her to the dojo, clapping her hands together as she did so in order to show them the proper respect they deserved, imitating the way she had always greeted her father back when she was training underneath him at their family's dojo. "Thank you for the kind words but really theres no need, it is I who should be honoring you not the other way around." She said quickly while blushing lightly, clearly flustered at having their attention upon her which was natural for the normally shy woman. Back home it had almost always been just her and her father training alone, but here there were several other people in the dojo, all working towards their own goals and practicing different martial arts, this place truly was great for improving her skills against other competing schools. Today she was planning to work on her offensive forms though she would need to find a sparring partner to do so properly, something which half terrified the girl though luck seemed to be on her side when she realized someone new had come to greet her.

"Oh...umm hi there." Ayame said in a voice so low it might as well have been a whisper as she turned to face a woman a bit shorter than herself, which made it near impossible for her to avert the woman's gaze by looking down as she usually did, and since it would seem rude to do so by looking up over the girl Ayame settled for making nervous eye contact. As the girl suddenly owed low Ayame became flustered yet again, waving her hands in front of her face while saying "Wait theres no need for that!", then taking a step back to bow as low as she could in return. "Please stop bowing, my names Ayame and its a pleasure to meet you."

After a bit of an awkward exchange of bows and greetings between them Ayame felt some of the nervous tension coming from both of them fade away, the other girl even gathering up the courage to introduce herself. If she could do so then Ayame knew she had to do so as well, after all it would be rude to not give the woman her name in return after being given hers. "Its a pleasure to meet you Reyna...er Rain, my name is Suzuki Aayme but please feel free to call me just Ayame." The japanese woman said quickly as if her courage wouldn't have allowed her to say all that at a normal pace, smiling warmly at Rain while thinking she might have found someone just as shy as herself.

It was unusual for people to just come right up and talk to Ayame, it seemed that most people just overlooked the purple haired woman which was fine by Ayame, but Rain here seemed to be the rare exception. Perhaps she had seen a similar personality to herself in Ayame, she certainly could see some similarities between them already, though she wasn't really sure where to go from here. "So ummm, Rain, are you the welcoming committee or something?"
