No pain, no gain! (for kerflubble)

Mindy instantly felt Rebecca's weight flying off from her, setting her free from that torturous boston crab. She was overtaken by a huge rush of relief, followed by a perhaps even bigger rush of exhaustion, and her body fell down to the mat. Both the hold and the escape had taken a lot out of her, and her back would stop hurting any time soon, but she was free.

Free... "Hah..." She had just overpowered a veteran who had all kinds of advantages over her. The feeling of accomplishment was exhilarating, even if she had just narrowly avoided a swift defeat. Not wanting to keep Rebecca waiting, she slowly rose to her knees, panting and wiping off the sweat from her face, but smiling. "Hah... how's that? Hah..." She said, turning to look at the amazon.

Rebecca was rubbing the side of her head as she tried to push herself up, it had been a very long time since anyone had flipped her over like that: she couldn't help but be impressed with Mindy's new found resolve. "Not bad, not bad at all." The amazon said as she stood back up, smiling all the time as she rolled her shoulders back "You up for round two?"

Rebecca's praise was music to Mindy's ears; it made all the pain and soreness worthwhile. She got to her feet as well - although considerably slower than Rebecca - and, after recovering her breath, she went back to her wrestling stance. "Yeah, I'm ready." Now that she had witnessed the amazon's full might, she didn't know exactly how she would beat her, but that wasn't going to stop the rookie from trying.

Rebecca nodded as the rookie made her way back up to her feet, it was still all grappling so she couldn't test her endurance against say... a barrage of chops to the chest but there was still a lot she could do to test Mindy's mettle. "Good, I'll make sure to show you what it means to not hold back." She boasted as she quickly grabbed the muscle girl's arm and whipped her off to the ropes, waiting for her to bounce back.

When Rebecca suddenly grabbed Mindy's arm, there was little the rookie could do in her still weakened condition. She tried to wrench her arm away, but to no avail, and as a result she was quickly irish whipped towards the ropes. Without enough time to mount a counterattack, Mindy's only option after bouncing off the ropes was to watch out for Rebecca's movements as she rebounded towards her; maybe, with a quick reaction and a good dose of luck, she'd be able to duck under whatever the veteran was about to dish out.

Rebecca was expecting to step to the side, grab her by the upper body and swing her into a side slam, what she didn't expect was for the girl to duck as though she was expecting a clothesline, either way it worked as Mindy managed to avoid Rebecca's grasp. "Better have something big in mind..." She muttered to herself as she regained composure and turned around, bracing herself for whatever the muscle girl's counter would be.

Mindy's makeshift dodge worked in keeping her out of harm's way - for one more second, at least. As she ducked under Rebecca's arms unscathed, she decided to keep improvising. She turned on a dime and saw her opponent turning around as well; what caught her attention, though, was that Rebecca's back was exposed for a moment. With her brain already running on autopilot, she tried to circle around the amazon as she turned, wanting to stay behind her back, and would look for an opening to grab one of her arms, twisting it in a hammerlock if she managed to catch it.

Rebecca had been expecting Mindy to hit the other side of the ropes, not circle around her and try pin her arm behind her in a painful hammerlock. "Gkkhhh..." Rebecca grunted as her muscles flared up under the pressure, the big amazon sending her free arm back to try and catch Mindy off guard, reaching back to pull her forward. She just hoped her arm was flexible enough to deal with the increased pressure.

Mindy smiled for a second when her move worked, trapping Rebecca's arm in a hammerlock. However, her joy was short-lived: before she could really wrench the hold, Rebecca's other hand shot back and grabbed her by the back of the neck, catching her off guard. She simply wasn't ready for such lightning reflexes, and before she could react the amazon bent forward and pulled her feet off the mat, flipping the rookie over and sending her hurtling down. "UGH!" Mindy's already damaged back was punished again as her tailbone crashed onto the mat, leaving her stunned and open to Rebecca's attacks. If Rebecca let go of her head, she would roll to her side and clutch her hurt back, trying to make the pain subside.

Rebecca's pull was much bigger than she intended, heaving the muscle girl over her hip and slamming her on the mat. Not that she was complaining as she tried to force Mindy onto her front, fully prepared to cause some more damage with some holds, it got her arm free after all. "Time to make you humble." She boasted before kicking her legs down, trying to sit back down on Mindy's already abused lower back.
