Jessica Butterfly vs. Mindy Priest (Completed)

Jessica felt like her world was spinning. After being slammed onto the mat hard twice already, and being hit hard by an elbow drop, she felt really out of it. And the pain from the slams was intense. Her small frame was easily tossed around by the muscular Mindy. It made her realize just how outmatched she was against her taller opponent. It was likely that if she got up, she would just have to deal with more painful slams and hits. That was something she didn't want.

When Mindy crawled atop of her, and hooked her leg, she let out a groan as the ref slapped her hand on the mat, calling out "One!" Jessica knew what this meant, Mindy was trying to pin her here and now. She couldn't lie to herself, staying her and letting herself get pinned seemed very appealing after experiencing the pain of real wrestling for the first time. Still, she didn't want to just give up. Not like this.

"Two!" the ref called, slapping her hand down again. Jessica had to dig down deep, but with a huge grunt of effort, she would try to kick her leg out from Mindy's grasp, and role her shoulder off the mat to break the pin.

Mindy held tightly onto Jessica's leg and pressed her body down against hers, waiting for the pin count. The crowd, which had already warmed up considerably to the muscular rookie, chanted the count together with the referee. "One! Two! ..." For a moment, Mindy thought she had this match in the bag; however, the third count never came, as Jessica managed to lift one shoulder off the mat at the last second. "Break!" the ref said, signalling to Mindy that her hard-earned pin attempt had failed.

What now? Mindy groaned in frustration. She got off Jessica and stood on her knees, panting, trying to regain some of her own stamina while planning what to do next. She wiped some sweat off her brow.

It took all Jessica had to throw her shoulder up and off of the mat, especially with Mindy holding her down. It didn't help that she was sore beyond belief. But she didn't want to just give up so soon. She came here to wrestle, and if she lost, she was going to go down fighting if she had to. She didn't really know where this new found determination came from, but that didn't matter. She had to prove she wasn't just going to take the easy way out and just let herself be pinned. If she lost, she would lose because she couldn't fight back anymore.

Still, the effort of kicking out of the pin had taken a lot out of her, so she laid there on her side, breathing heavily and trying to catch her breath. Thankfully, Mindy was doing the same thing, which gave her a good chance to get some energy back before it started all over again.

Mindy looked down at Jessica's figure. She had a pained face, and was breathing heavily, so there was no way Mindy's moves had failed. Why,then, did her pin not work? She considered what to do next. Power moves were flashy and damaging, but if she couldn't score a pin from them all she did was tire herself by using them. Maybe she should go for a submission hold next; even if she didn't make Jessica give up with them, she would at least wear her down some more.

Still on her knees, Mindy moved around Jessica's body to lie next to her head. Grabbing her pink hair, she would lift her head a few inches off the mat and try to get one of her legs under it; she would then put her other leg over Jessica's neck and lock her ankles together, putting her in a head scissors hold.

Jessica was thankful she had a few precious seconds to recover her breath and strength. It was a good thing that Mindy needed those seconds as well, or she might not have had that luxury. But when Mindy grabbed her hair, she knew her time to recover was over. "Gh..." Jessica opened her eyes to see Mind'y legs moving around her neck and head, and she knew what was coming. In this position tough, she couldn't do much to stop it, so she was caught by the intense pressure of the head scissor.

"L-let go!" she shouted at Mindy as she tried to pry her legs off of her, but gaining no ground, as she had locked her ankles together. Jessica was already feeling the effects. Her neck was sore as it is from landing on them hard twice already. She would have to find a way out of the hold quickly, or risk further damage. Seeing no other option, she began to swing her arms at Mind'y thighs, repeating this until Mindy somehow stopped her, of let go of the hold.

Once the scissors were locked in place, Mindy proceeded to pouring some pressure in it. She was pretty proud of her strong, toned legs, so she was sure that this hold would put Jessica in some trouble. She tensed her muscles, not willing to give the smaller girl any room to escape.

Soon enough, Jessica started fighting back, as Mindy had expected. Her initial attempts to break the hold fell short, as her arms could not overpower Mindy's strong legs. Her second tactic, however, had more of an effect, as the incessant pounding on Mindy's legs gradually became more painful. At first, she tried to ignore it and tough it out, but Jessica just wouldn't stop. "Ugh! Gh! ...cut it out already!" Mindy would try to reach for Jessica's closest arm and grab it by the wrist as it struck her thigh again, wanting to immobilize it. She couldn't do anything about the other arm, as she couldn't reach it from her position, so she would have to endure the pounding if Jessica decided to continue with it. In retaliation, she tightened the leg scissors as much as she could.

Jessica's punching seemed to be having the desired effect for the most part. It was clearly causing Mindy at least a little pain, but she still refused to let her go. Which was bad, because the hold was starting to really get to her. Her neck was starting to hurt like hell, and it was getting hard to breath as well. If she didn't get out of the scissor soon, it would likely be all over for the pink haired girl.

She continued to punch at Mindy's legs, still trying her best to get out. Mindy managed to stop her though by grabbing her wrist and holding it securely. She tried to pull it free but her opponent's grip was too tight. It was growing harder and harder to put up any kind of resistance against her taller opponent. And her lack of training didn't help either. At this point, there was little she could do against Mindy but flail her free arm at her leg. She was too far from the rope to get a break as well.

What made it worse was when Mindy added even more pressure, making her cry out from the pain. She couldn't stand it anymore. It felt so early, so fast, but it was inevitable she guessed. She had been put against a much stronger opponent, and a much more skilled one to boot. She needed more training before she could even come close to her skill level. After a moment, she just stopped hitting her, and tapped her hand on Mindy's thigh, signalling her surrender to her.

Mindy kept her legs nice and tight around Jessica, working her neck with her powerful leg scissors. Her thigh was now painfully sore after almost one full minute of nonstop punches from Jessica, but Mindy was too tenacious to give up on this hold. If anything, the repeated hits just spurned her to try harder. She could tell the damage on pink-haired girl was much greater than what she was inflicting on her leg. So she kept going at it, tensing her leg muscles and holding Jessica's wrist up in the air, far away from her legs.

Mindy was so focused on enduring Jessica's punches that, when she finally got the submission, she didn't even notice it at first. She thought it was just Jessica hitting her leg some more; noticing that, the referee quickly ran to them, telling the muscular girl to stop. "It's over! She gave up already!" "... what?"

DING! DING! DING!

The crowd roared as the match saw its conclusion. Realized what happened, Mindy opened her legs and hastened to let go of Jessica's head. "Oh... I'm sorry! I didn't feel you tapping out..." However, even if she felt somewhat guilty of hurting Jessica more than necessary, Mindy was feeling vibrant inside. It was her first match... and she won! The ref grabbed her arm, motioning for her to stand up, and she did. "Our winner!" The ref raised her hand to the crowd. Mindy grinned; she was tired, sweaty, and sore at lots of places, but the joy of victory was exhilarating. "Haha... hahaha... I won! I won!"

Jessica just couldn't stand it anymore. She wasn't used to this kind of punishment, and it was growing to be too much for her to handle. Not wanting to deal with the pain anymore, she tapped on Mindy's shoulder, wanting to be free of the hold. It took a second for her to realize it however, as she held the hold until the ref told her to let go. Once the hold was released, Jessica rolled onto her back and took in some much needed air, and coughed after she did so. She hurt like hell. Her back, and her neck were the worst of all of it. What made it worse was she didn't have a win to show for it. She hurt, and she lost.

Jessica looked over from where she lay, looking up at her tall opponent, who was celebrating her victory. She deserved it, she supposed. She had bested her in almost every way, so she really did deserve this win. Still, she couldn't help but feel disappointed in herself. She had tried so had, despite her lack of training, but she still felt like she could have done more if she had just managed to hold on. But she couldn't, and that was the fact of it. For now, she just wanted to lay there, and try to ignore how sore she was while Mindy celebrated her first win.

As Mindy enjoyed her victory, her mind turned back to Jessica; she noticed that the smaller girl hadn't gotten up yet, and instead lay on the mat, battered and exhausted. Mindy may have won today, but as a fellow rookie she could very easily picture herself in Jessica's place, and could imagine how it felt... she walked over to Jessica. "You put up a very good fight, Jessica. Come, get up," she said while holding a hand out, offering to help her to her feet.
