Jessica Butterfly vs. Mindy Priest (Completed)

Even though she tried to pull free, Mindy just wouldn't let go of Jessica. In fact, in her attempts to get out, she tightened the hold she had on her head, making the pressure all the more irritating to deal with. She never had to deal with holds like this when chick fighting. But she had to forget about that, and stop making comparisons. This was nothing like chick fighting.

Jessica expected a big move to happen sometime, but it didn't seem to come as Mindy just decided to showboat a bit, letting go with one arm to flex her muscles to the ever watchful crowd. This helped to relieve the pressure a bit, and gave her a chance to fight back. Jessica would try to do what Mindy did, and throw an elbow or two at her side, hoping to get her to let her go.

Mindy flexed her arm once more and winked, basking in the crowd's cheer. A few hours ago, she thought she would have been intimidated by such a huge audience, but now she was enjoying their enthusiasm a lot. She just couldn't wait to hear more... they would love it when she showed them her next move!

But it looked like she wouldn't be able to perform it just then. "Ouch!" She felt one, two sharp blows hitting a soft spot on her side. Even though she had some muscle to protect her there, an elbow to the midriff was an elbow to the midriff, and the resulting shot of pain caused her to yell and lose her grip on Jessica. "Ugh... hey! Come back here!" Realizing Jessica was free, she would try to chase her and grab her again, somehow, before she fled out of her reach.

Jessica didn't know exactly how much she could do, but that wouldn't stop her from trying. Wanting to get out of the headlock, she would send two elbows to the side of Mindy, managing to get her to let go. The pressure relief from her head was a huge weight off, and she took in a sigh of relief as she backed up, only narrowly avoiding Mindy's reach. Still, she had learned that if she didn't act fast against Mindy, Jessica would only end up in her clutches again, so she had no time to stand and catch her breath.

Not wanting to get caught by her, she wold run toward the ropes, bouncing off of them and back toward Mindy. Last minute, she would jump up, and kick both of her legs out at her in a poorly practiced drop kick, hoping that it would connect. Given her height, she wasn't able to kick any higher than Mindy's gut, but the gut was probably her softest spot anyway.

Mindy tried to grab Jessica again, but her fingers barely brushed her skin before she escaped out of her range and ran to the ropes. Frustrated, she tried chasing her for a couple of steps, but stopped at the last second when she realized that the pink-haired girl had bounced off the ropes and was now coming directly at her.

If there had been some more distance between them, Mindy could have dodged her charge, but since she had chased Jessica the space only allowed her to try and block it. Reacting on instinct, she brought her arms up, defending her head and upper body behind them. It was a swift, solid defense - and it would have been perfect were it not protecting the wrong spot. "GAHH-" Mindy gasped as 109 pounds of chick fighter collided against her gut, knocking the air out of her lungs. The high-speed impact sent her sprawled to the mat; she laid there, dazed and heaving. The brown-skinned girl was finally vulnerable, unable to do much without regaining her breath first.

Jessica couldn't help but smile as she felt her drop kick connect, and even knock Mindy down to the mat. She now knew why Mindy had showboated. It was so exhilerating to be the one who was winning! And not to mention the fact that her opponent was so much stronger than her. She was so surprised at herself for managing to even get this far. If her luck kept up, she cold possibly keep this streak going.

Seeing Mindy down on the mat, Jessica would think back to all the times she had watched wrestling. What would a pro do? She remembered how some of them would try to do what was called a leg drop, so why not try that? Once again, she would run at the ropes, and bounce off of them to get a bit more momentum. Once she was close enough to Mindy, Jessica would jump into the air and extend her legs, hoping to bring one of them down across her opponent's upper chest and neck. That is, if she didn't manage to role out of the way.

Mindy panted and panted, taking some much-needed air back into her lungs; Jessica's improvised move had done a number on her. After a few seconds, she shook her head and realized that she was wide open. Damn! How did the tables turn so fast? "Ah, I must get up soon, or else I'm -"

However, before she could even finish that thought, she felt the mat vibrating with running footsteps. Alarmed, she tried to look around and find Jessica - just to find her right above her face a second later. This time, she didn't even have time to defend herself: Jessica's leg landed on her collarbones in a clean hit. Even though the pink-haired girl wasn't very heavy, the leg drop caused Mindy to cry out in pain and roll to her side, trying to put her soft spots out of harm's way as she recovered from the two blows.

Seeing her chance to strike, Jessica ran at the ropes and back toward her downed opponent, before jumping into the air and slamming her leg across the collar bone of Mindy, forcing a cry of pain from her. Jessica felt no pleasure in hurting her, but still, she couldn't help but smile a bit. Without any training, she was winning. it mad her wonder just how good she could be if she was actually trained. She would have to look into that at some point.

Jessica watched as Mindy rolled to her side, trying to protect herself from a further assault. Winging it seemed to work so far, so she would continue to do just that. "Sorry Mindy. I don't mean to hurt you," she said as she maneuvered herself behind her downed opponent. She would try to grab the arm of Mindy, and, trying to remember exactly how it went, attempted to apply an arm bar. They had always seemed effective on TV, anyways.

Mindy groaned, her collarbone still stinging from Jessica's leg drop. She clutched the sore areas, wishing for the pain to go away. However, it seemed Jessica still had plans for her. After some feeble resistance, one of her arms was grabbed and wrenched away from her, and in the next second she found herself in a position she had learned to dread. She had been the unwilling subject of the arm bar multiple times during her training, and had been forced to tap out almost every time. She frowned, gritting her teeth as her arm started being twisted.

However, it seemed that Jessica's technique was miles away from what Mindy was used to experience. As her arm was stretched, pain shot all the way up to her shoulders, but it wasn't the intense pain of a joint being dislocated. Woken up from her daze, Mindy hurried to act before Jessica figured out the right way to crank her arm. Just like in her training, she rolled her body towards Jessica, trying to lock her hands together and negate the arm bar.

Jessica efforts to get ahead, even though most of those efforts were completely improved and unpracticed, seemed to be paying off more and more with each passing minute. Seeing Mindy laying there on the mat, this was yet another chance to act. So she would grab her arm, meeting little resistance, and put her in a very sloppy arm bar. She could tell from her opponent's expression that it was doing something at least, so it wasn't that bad. Or so she thought.

Mindy, being the skilled fighter that she was, rolled over toward Jessica, taking her completely by surprise, and completely nullifying her hold on her. "H-hey! I didn't know you could do that!" she complained, the sound almost like a whine of a child who had just caught their friend cheating in a game. Still, she didn't let go of the arm, hoping that maybe she would get lucky again. But likely not...

Mindy internally sighed in relief when her hands met each other, giving her a get-out-of-jail-free card from the arm bar. She was no expert in wrestling, but just a little experience went a long way, especially in crucial moments like these. She made a mental note to thank her training partner later, then tried to transition to her knees. However, her arm was not free yet, as Jessica was stubbornly stuck to it.

Mindy smirked at her complaint. "Now you know! Keep it in mind next time..." she tensed both her arms - "not that I'm letting you try again, of course!" With that said, she would slowly get up, leveraging all her strength to lift Jessica clean off the mat while she was still attached to her arm!
