Av'12 AFW Title Match

Heather began scooting herself up Angel, sure that she had the girl right where she wanted her. Ending it with the exact guarantee that Angel had for her, it was just priceless. Poetic Justice in Heather's mind. Of course, it seemed Heather had counted on the victory a little early, Angel not quite down and out yet underneath her as the girl started to fight back.

She grit her teeth as she felt Angel's legs grab her head, causing her eyes to widen as she would let out a gasp. Panicking, she tried her best to grab the girl's legs, but could do nothing as she would pull her down onto her back, Heather groaning out a bit. However, she wasn't about to let Angel pin her either. She would push on the mat with her hands with all she had, pushing herself into a roll, trying to slip outside of the ring to regain herself, just as Angel had done before, lying flat on the ground on the area next to the ramp if she got that far.

Angel felt relieved as she managed to snag Heather's head, breaking the woman's pin, pulling her to the mat. Quick she sat up, ready to reverse things into a pin of her own, but before she had time to do so, Heather began to roll away from her.

Cursing under her breath, Angel scrambled to her hands and knees, crawling towards the ropes after Heather escaped and rolled out. She slid under them, keeping an eye on Heather all the while. She was completely dead, no energy left, nothing fueling her but the pure determination to finally end this damn match. She leaned down as she approached Heather, leaning down to grab the woman by her hair, so that she could pull the woman back up to her feet, wanting to get her back towards the ring and back into it.

Heather was breathing in and out deeply, sprawled out on the ground as she stared up at the lights, them dazing her a bit by how bright they seemed to be. She was exhausted, and her body was telling her to just shut her eyes and doze off right there, but there was no way she could do that, she just couldn't. She had to pull herself together and win this thing.

She wouldn't be given very much time though as Angel would slide under the ropes like she did, Heather feeling the burning on her scalp as Angel would go to pick her up by her hair yet again, something that she's been doing quite frequently. Heather turned to the girl as she went to pick her up, groaning out before she would reach up to Angel's head in desperation, trying to fall back onto her butt and connect with a sit-out jawbreaker on Angel, hoping it would jolt her enough to get her down.

As tired as Angel was, as exhausted as the Latina felt, she wasn't thinking that Heather could still try to counter her. Even when she felt the woman grabbing her head, she couldn't find the energy to stop her. Down Angel went with Heather, slammed hard by the jawbreaker, and the next thing she knew, the Latina was on the floor again, lying on her back once more. She stared up towards the lights, not even having the energy to let out a pained groan as she stared up, her thoughts a completely blur as she realized that she was finally done for.

"Haah...!!" Heather sat there for quite a while, shaking her dizzy head at Angel as she looked at the girl lying there. She grit her teeth as she would look to the ring, flipping the apron up. "Im..done..I'll...end this here.." Heather kept repeating herself, almost in a crazed way as she would pull out a ladder, the biggest one they had at that, the 20 footer.

She pushed herself to her feet, groaning as she put all her strength into picking up the ladder, setting it up with one end facing Angel and the other end facing her. From there, Heather would again strain herself to start very slowly climbing the ladder, looking up to the ceiling as she did, not really paying attention to Angel, thinking the girl was totally out of it as she fought to get to the top.

Angel just lied there on the floor, lied there staring upwards, waiting for the end to finally come. After a few moments though, she began to blink, wondering what Heather was up to. It wasn't until she heard the sound of something moving against the floor nearby her that she finally turned her head to the side, wondering what was going on. She blinked slowly, watching as Heather set up the ladder, not quite realizing what was happening...

...until she watched Heather begin to climb it. At that moment, realization struck in her mind, and she knew what was going on. If she let Heather get to the top of the ladder, she truly would be done for, and an attack from that height would probably put her out of action for a while. She knew she needed to act, and fast, to stop Heather. She lay there upon the floor, just a moment longer, summoning up what was truly the last bit of energy she had left, and then began to rise back up to her feet.

It was slow climbing, getting back up, and even as she stood she looked shaky, almost like a stiff breeze could take her out again, but she was stubborn. She was stubborn, and she was proud, and she was not going to let Heather finish her this way, either. She stood a shaky step forward, then stumbled towards the ladder, tripping as she approached it, resulting in the Latina leaning against it for several brief seconds.

Gotta...keep moving... she thought to herself, taking a deep breath as she lifted her head upwards, raising her hands to begin climbing up the ladder, hoping she could make it to the top before Heather caught on and had time to react to her.

As Angel began to climb the ladder opposite of Heather, the girl would have no clue of it, just looking up to the top, seeing it getting closer and closer. For anyone who was looking on, it looked like the two were racing to see who would climb the top of a mountain first, both on their last legs and their last breath as they climbed.

Finally, As Heather got to the top, she would notice Angel just a few steps below her on the other side, causing her eyes to widen as she stared in disbelief. "..What!?" Heather thought to herself, the fact that Angel was up there with her seeming crazy to her as it was. She would grit her teeth, shaking her head.

"G-get off!!" Heather yelled out to the girl, waiting until she was level with her before she would try to swing a punch at her.

Angel slowly climbed upwards, one rung at a time, one hand over another. She wasn't quite sure what she was going to do once she hit the top, but she knew she had to get up there, knowing what a bad idea it would be to let Heather get up there first. Unfortunately for her, her hated opponent did get to the top before the Latina could, and just as Angel's head peaked over the top of the ladder, she heard Heather yelling out at her, swinging a wild punch her way.

"Gggnnff!" came Angel's pained cry as Heather's fist slammed into her cheek, snapping her head to the side. But just as quickly as it was turned away, Angel turned it back to Heather glaring at her with rage-filled eyes. "YOU get off, slut!" She yelled back, her head pounding her with pain, throwing a solid right hook of her own straight back towards Heather!

Connecting with that fist into Angel's face, Heather felt quite a bit of satisfaction, thinking that that stuck it right to her, expecting the girl to take a tumble. Unfortunately for Heather that wasn't the case. Angel would retaliate quickly, calling her that name that Heather just hated to hear come out of the girl's mouth before her fist would collide hard with her face.

Heather was barely able to hold onto the ladder, almost falling straight off of it as the punch nearly knocked her out right there. She reaffirmed her grasp at the last second though, a little bit of blood leaking from her lips as she grit her teeth. "Y..you're...going..down..bitch!!" Heather let out, grabbing the ladder with both hands before she would violently shake her body back and forth, using her momentum to get the ladder starting to fall towards the steel ramp. At that, Heather would quickly try to use her acrobatic skills to leap off the ladder the other way, trying to jump into the ring and let Angel fall with the ladder by herself.

Angel was out of her element in her current place atop the ladder. Everyone watching in the audience knew it, Angel knew it, and most likely Heather knew it. Angel wasn't a high flyer, she preferred to stay grounded. So, when Heather began to rock the ladder back and forth, shaking it here and there, the Latina's face twisted into a look of panic, a look that shifted to one of fear as she began to fall with the ladder towards the steel ramp below. If she hadn't been so tired, she would have realized what she was doing, and would have never came up here. Now? Now she was being punished for it.

She wasn't going to go alone though. If she was wiping out like this, she was taking Heather down with her. As soon as the ladder began to tip towards the floor, and the Latina began to fall with it, she twisted her upper body towards Heather. "Get over here, whore!" She screamed out defiantly, the last words she would speak in this match, as she lashed out with both arms, trying to grab each of Heather's arms, so that she could pull the woman down towards the floor with her, and stop her from jumping to safety.
