Av'12 Silver Monkey match

Being trapped in such a complex hold, there's nothing more Mayu could do and soon she went limp on Rei's grasps. The short haired girl remained silent for a while as she was knocked out, giving her opponent a chance to gather all the pieces of the monkey statue.

Rei felt her opponent's struggles fade and cautiously released Mayu from her legs, she softly rolled the short haired girl brushing the girl's dark hair over her ear before she got to one knee and used her hand to push off her knee to get into a standing position. She put one hand on her side as the slams and blows she took from Mayu throughout their match. The girl panted lightly before she took a deep sigh and went to finish her match. The purple haired girl would then go to each corner slowly taking her time to collect the pieces.

With Mayu out cold, she took her time not thinking that the girl had it in her to regain her consciousness but, things like that have happened before. If Mayu gave no resistance, she would gather her collected pieces and being them to the corner. Rei grunted as she picked up each piece with a slightly disgruntled expressions. It would take some time to figure out which one were feet but, putting the piece upside down. She let out a "oohhhh...." and after turning the second piece around turning it she would slide it into place. Finally, Rei would take a breath lifting the head of the monkey and would slowly try to put it in place crossing her fingers that the match was over.

Mayu was still knocked out as Rei gathered all the pieces and began to assemble the statue. Her opponent did take some time do that, though, and her consciousness slowly returned as time passed. The short haired girl let out a weak groan as she slowly opened her eyes, taking her time to get up, thinking she already lost. When she managed to pull herself to get up on her knees, she glanced around to see where the Cosplay Fighter was. She spotted Rei on one of the corner, already on her way to put the head of the statue to finish the match. Mayu sighed. It's probably too late to stop Rei now, but her next action was something she thought she'd never did.

Instead of trying to give Rei a final chase or distract the girl, the short haired girl rolled to the side and slipped herself out of the ring. Mayu force her exhausted self to run towards the exit not caring about whatever the audience might think. Rei could win the match for all she cared, and she could celebrate on her own. She didn't even know why she ran. Her mind was in a mess for reasons she couldn't comprehend. Screw this match, this event, this place. When Rei finished the match and turned around, Mayu would already have gone.

As soon as Rei pushed the monkey head down, the girl's music began to play and she smiled to herself at her own victory. She turned to make sure Mayu was okay and wake her up but, sure enough enough no one was to be found. She looked out catching sight of her back right before she exited the ring. Her smile faded into a half smile and then into a frown. Her hand that she was about to raise in victory steadily declined. Rei couldn't help but feel bad for Mayu and she told herself that she needed to make amends with her. Although the match had ended a bit faster than most, Mayu in her view had nothing to be ashamed of. However, it appeared something was troubling her that much was certain. Tet, the roars of the crowd erupting, Rei waved at them and smiled half heartedly. She couldn't help but think maybe she should have gone easier on Mayu.

"Mayu..." Rei said softly as she would gaze towards the ring entrance.
