[Pendant Match] Boxing- Rei vs Akane

"Ughh..." Rei groaned as Akane's fist hit it's mark as she threw the uppercut only hitting air with her strike. The girl let out a groan as the girl twisted her fist which also twisted her stomach after it was driven in like that. Rei's mouth gaped open as she closed one eye. Rei grunted taking special note of the body blow before she stumbled back. With one hand on her stomach, she panted profusely. Although Akane may have found some similarities in submission fighting and striking for Rei they were worlds a part. She just didn't see it that way at all. The girl came in towards Akane hunched over and covering up. The purple haired girl had an idea of how to fight back.

Stepping deep inside Rei would try to push herself into Akane's chest and bully her way through to push her against the ropes.

Akane looked on at Rei's body and focused only on the bow, other might have looked up to see the damage it had done but such things would distract you. Akane knew well enough that when she had throw enough hits was when Rei was down, no sooner and no later. Knock outs being Akane's specialty just meant that this might go quicker than she thought, but now that she saw Rei after stumbling back as she had done come back in against her the boxing girl would bring her arms up for a guard.

BUT...that was no help as Rei seemed to charge and push her own body up against Akane, the Lightning fisted one was quite surprised by this tactic but had a way to fight it as she would attempt to place her arm to the side of Rei and try to punch at the girl's ribs to attempt and slow her down, if that didn't do it's job then AKane would get pushed back against the ropes and the ref-girl would be forced to move up and try and separate the two of them.

Rei charged forward but, feeling her opponent's fists dig into her ribs as she charged forward, she grunted in agony. Rei knew these body shots were going to add up but, she just couldn't stand there and take hits either. From here Rei had an opening and although she didn't have time to wind up. She had confidence in her power, Rei would slam her fist as much as she could with an abnormal amount of power. Rei pouring everything into her fists as if it was the last round. She tried to get a few good shots in before the ref pulled them apart. Rei would stretch out her arm using her glove to blind Akane from her movements. Rei would crouch down as low as she could and would spring up with her legs trying to catch Akane with an uppercut. She had gotten the idea from Aoki's frog punch from Hajime no Ippo. It was a rather clever idea in theory if Rei hadn't announced the name of her attack in a full hearted battle cry.

"FROG PUNCH!"

Akane gritted her teeth as she hated people who had to grapple and be annoying in a boxing match like this and just wished that they would learn that such tactics wasn't going to help them at all, still being pushed back was not a good thing and it was even worse as soon she was blocked, her view being obscured by Rei's glove as it pressed up against her face, she had no idea what was coming until Rei shouted out what the name of her attack was.

Akane quickly moved her arms down to block off her chest and chin as Rei's punch came up and smacked into her arms, which forced Akane up on her tippy toes, the girl had a lot of power behind those punches and it would be deadly to get hit by one too many.

Although she could tell Akane wasn't fond of tie ups, they were an important part of boxing none the less. Rei stepped in, this was a good opportunity to start dropping some bombs. With Akane's back against the ropes, Rei decided to keep up the offensive as she began to throw a continuous repetitive combination of one two punches at Akane's guard. Bashing the girl's defenses with all her power, she twisted her body behind the punches putting her entire body into each one. The Cospaly Fighter gave it everything she had as her voice began to rise.

"OaaahhhhhhhHHHHHH!" Rei cried as if she was some video game character in the middle of her favorite combination.

Akane shook her head a bit as she felt Rei' punches connect and drive up against her guard, smacking into her arm hard over and over again which started to become annoying and on the verge of becoming painful for the lightning fisted one. With that she took a deep breath and would try and fight back to stop Rei from doing any serious damage to her arms. AKane would quickly attempt and break of her guard right after one of Rei's punches and move her arm up along her body as she pushed herself up to stand up completely and not hunched over as before, with this Akane would let her arm follow the motion of her moving up as she tried to send the a punch flying up into Rei's chin for a uppercut.

"Ahhh!" Rei let out a groan as her shot mixed and was countered by a deadly accurate uppercut that hit right on the button. Rei retreated wearily as she reformed her stance telling herself she needed to play a smarter game. That's when she realized that her vision began to get lower and lower. Rei blinked as she suddenly collapsed onto her side, the uppercut had rattled her brain and did more damage than she realized. She had been knocked down! The girl shook her head as she wearily pressed her knuckels to the mat as she tried to stand up in a slow manner as the ref began to count.

"One! Two! Three! Four!"

Akane looked on as Rei simply backed away from that deadly uppercut and raised an eyebrow, this girl was one impressive fighter if she could go on fighting like nothing had happene....*bam*...Akane's train of thought was interrupted as Rei fell down and dropped down, with the ref-girl moving up beside her to start counting the girl out for a K.O, with that done Akane would start to rub her arm, seeing the red spots where Rei's fists had hit her she couldn't help but wince a bit.

Akane started to wonder if Rei was too dumb to have realized that she was going down and that was why she stood up after that strike, but that thought quickly vanished as the Ref soon counted: " Five! Six!"

As she did Akane got ready and back into her stance, she had done enough to show this girl and would now want to put a stop to her, wanting to get that pendant for herself as much as possible after all.

Rei got up at the seven count, putting up her hand symbolizing she still wanted to fight. Her lips had a bit of blood coming out from her corner. SHe wiped it with the back of her gloove. Rei gritted her teeth, she had pushed herself a little too far instead of thinking clearly but, there wasn't much else she could do. Rei had to keep it up, she stubbornly believed that she would be able to beat her opponent if she out lasted her than maybe she had a shot. Rei got itno a boxing stace as the ref called out. "FIGHT!"

Rei dashed in again this time throwing a haymaker trying to tag her opponent in the corner of her head swiniging for the fences for that one hit wonder blow. "Ahhhh!"

Rei would follow it up by trying to mimic Akane's short uppercut to the body.

Akane watched as Rei got up, pumped her gloves hands and got into her stance, it seemed as if the girl didn't have enough sense to stay down. Akane had been holding back quite a bit so far as she hadn't even really fought using any style that she liked and stayed on the defensive, only counter attacking so far. Akane though got a great idea, since Rei didn't want to stay down it was up to her to give Rei just a bit of hope before she'd show the girl just how Akane really was when she was serious in a boxing match.

She waited and watched as Rei moved in and swung that haymaker at her, dodging herself under the blow weaving around to the side of it and outside of Rei's body zone, towards the side of the girl, though her other hand was still located in that vicinity and would shoot up to try and strike at Rei right on her nose with a quick but strong jab right to the girl's nose, which was her attempt to put a stop to Rei's little onslaught.
