Rules- No DQ, No kicking, No headbutting and No submissions

Red Team- Rei Tomizawa 1/2 Pendant
Green Team- Akane Yamamoto 1/2 Pendant

Rei wore her usual attire accept for one extra detail. Her 8 ounce red boxing gloves on her hands. She felt ill at ease in them but, with Clyde Gastin helping her on her striking and even Sachiko teaching her a few tricks she felt more confident than ever. However, they gave rather conflicting advice but, she just reckoned that she'd be able to find her own way to win taking the better parts of both of their plans. She had a crash course in striking with her hands so she didn't feel that incompetent anymore. She ad least knew what a jab was now.

Hearing her theme play ([url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZQxpFFP2Pc:2qx90an2]"God Knows"-Haruhi Suzumiya[/url:2qx90an2]), Rei came out to great her fans once again with a smiles and instead of high fives she gave out bro-fists. Making down the ramp with all smiles as it was just another day at work for her. Entering the ring, she slid through the middle and top rope. She began to do some shadow boxing but, honestly she was just continuously throwing the one two combination repeatedly. Throwing a jab and a right cross afterwords, she gulped as she brought up her hands to guard her face from strikes. Yet, the stance, the gloves, it all just felt so awkward for her. She knew her striking something she had to improve on and she would need to do it.

"Alright...." Rei said to herself as she gave a few long relaxed breaths. "I'm Ready..."

Akane wore her usually in ring attire since this wasn't a real boxing match, if it was she would have taken it a lot more serious and would have worn more serious clothing, but since this was just a part of the Temple games and the rules and such weren't very strict she wore her black clothing and her kitten gloves instead of her usual black gloves that she would wear in more serious matches. like the matches she was in where she fought for a national championship and international championship tournaments. It was different her in AFW and she wasn't sure if she liked it or not, at least not yet.

Akane started to think that this match would be a good way for her to get more of a feel for this place and see if she could fit in and pose some kind threat for some of the higher ranked wrestlers in this place. Akane stood ready alread to come out and get down to the ring and as soon as her [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jCxYveCY3w&feature=related:11xu6wxt]Music started up[/url:11xu6wxt] Akane made her way out to the crowd, and most seemed to recognize and shout out for her, cheering a bit for the Lighting fisted one. As she marched down towards the ring she threw a pair of quick jabs in the air, taking a few more steps closer towards the ring as she would climb into it and then move around throwing a few quick jabs before ending it of with a lighting fast uppercut.

When done Akane would start to walk up towards the center of the ring and would turn to the ref, raising her hands to let her check her gloves and such as a boxing habit.

Rei gulped as she saw her opponent's intimidating shadow boxing as she took up her stance. The uppercut was so quick that she had had missed half of it between blinks. The Cosplay Fighter knew that she was probably very well in over her head. The fighter's striking wasn't that great and to make it worse, her hand strikes were attrocious but, she did have power. She had to find ways to stop Akane from doing her boxing and using her power, endurance and technique to defeat her opponent. Rei followed her and looked to Akane as she followed suit showing her gloves to the ref as well. Meeting Akane in the center of the ring, she took a breath regaining her courage as she smiled. Her opponent was clearly more adept than boxing than her.

"Hi, my name's Rei! Nice to meet you! Desu~" Rei said in a friendly manner. "Umm.. anno... I'm still learning to be a striker so if you could give me a few tips that'd be wonderful!"

The Red clad Cosplay fighter got into an orthodox stance and would extend her hand toward Akane to give her a chance to bump fists with her before the bell would ring.

Akane tilted her head a little as she watched her opponent who by just how she stood and did things seemed to be less experienced when it came to boxing or at least seemed to be a bit nervous as she would watch the girl get her gloves checked and then walked up to her, she looked on as the girl eyed her and then listened to what she said, it was surprising to hear such a thing in the start of a match...it was more something one might hear when you got a request for a spar or something like that.

" Konbanwa. My name's Akane. " Akane said as she did sort of left out the whole formalities and such, as she then raised an eyebrow and soon nodded her head a little. " Oh...so desu. Well I guess I can." Akane said as she would bump gloves with Akane and then look on at Rei. " Well how about you throw a few punches at me and I will test your speed and such. I desu ? "

"Oh! Uhh...right!" Rei said nervously as she thanked her. "Thanks! I appreciate this!"

The Cospaly fighter than realized it was quite odd to ask her opponent to help her beat her but, she was lost without a paddle. Hearing the bell ring, Rei got ackwardly into a stance, her lead left foot pointing at Akane and her back leg right under her shoulder as she lifted her foot off it's heel. Her right hands were up and her right hand protected her chin and it seemed everything was okay to start. Rei advanced forward with her left foot sliding her right foot afterwards and began throwing a flurry of jabs as fast as she could at Akane's head trying to impress her. Rei lacking in an arsenal of strikes could only use the jab and the cross semi-properly.

"Uhh..tss...tss...tss..." Rei said trying to exhale slightly like Sachiko taught her.

Akane would put on a faint smile as she heard Rei thank her and would then nod to the girl signaling that she was ready and that she was just waiting for Rei to come at her.

When she watched Rei she saw that she got the basics of the stance right, and this was the point she felt it weird that she was going to help Rei, it would clash with her boxing style so much, since Akane was a Swarmer she wanted to stay on top of Rei and pressure the girl, but now she was going to do this now that she had said so. Akane looked on a bit at Rei as she took her breath and seemed to take this all very seriously. " Uhm..." Should I speak Japanese ? Throw Japanese in like she did before...GAH I'm fighting a weird. Akane thought to herself as she would gesture for Akane to come at her as the Lighting fisted one gently bounced on her toes.

As Rei started to throw her flurry of punches Akane's body boobed and weaved around most of them before she jumped back and created a little bit of distance between them and then looked on at the girl, she had some speed behind her and could prove the be quite an annoyance, the first glimpse of Rei's style said that she might be a Swarmer much like Akane...which could be annoying for the Lightning fisted one.

" You don't have to take it so seriously." Akane said as she tilted her head a little, " You are kinda pulling me into that mode by doing so..."

Rei watched with amazement as her opponent weaved her blows in such a beautiful fashion, her eyes dazzled with admiration. "Wow! You're amazing!" Rei smiled as she simply nodded to Akane and would wind up her arm like a windmill. Clearly, she broke out of the standard stance as she did this forgetting all that she learned.

"Here I come!" Rei said running towards her opponent at her top notch speed. Stepping hard forward, Rei would throw a powerful overhand right straight at Akane. Taking her advice to heart, Rei would just go at her own bewildering striking style. Perhaps, her nonsensical style would confuse and disorient the boxer? The Cosplay Fighter would then continue with her assault coming in close after she swung the over hand right and twisted her body until she turned around throwing a surprise spinning back fist trying to catch Akane on the cheek with all her power behind it.

Akane looked on a bit as she watched Rei and let out a soft " mhm." as Rei complimented her, of course one would normally thank someone as they said it but Akane felt like Rei was just stating the obvious, in a way it was insulting that Rei didn't think that a national boxing champion wouldn't be good at boxing, it felt odd to her and she did kinda want to show Rei just what happened when you insulted a Yamamoto.

She waited and watched as soon Rei came at her, the girl was fast at least but Akane was able to see her movement, telegraphed easily as she didn't seem to be a striker of any kind really. Akane's quick movements would attempt to duck her body down under Rei's swing and slip around the swing towards Rei side, where Akane would attempt and send a quick 1- 2 combo with one punch to Rei's face and the other to the girl's firm abs.

Rei grunted a she missed both blows, the girl grunted getting hit by the jab straight on the cheek causing her to stumble backward. Rei swung wildly with her left hand only to have Akane change levels and force a powerful blow to the girl's abdomen. Rei felt the other woman's fist bury itself into her stomach. She winced as she took a step back not quite used to taking shots like that. However, Rei just kept coming throwing heavy and wilder shots but at a quicker rate. Rei would come swinging up with a right uppercut trying to take akane's head off clean as she got a lot of air to whistle around that blow.

"Ughh!" Rei grunted trying to hit Akane with that hail marry shot but, the girl had a a hard time following her with her eyes. The avid and experienced boxer just outclassed her in so many ways.

Akane kept her eyes on Rei, keeping her eyes focused at the girl's chest and bust as it was easy for her to shit them to either hand and from the movements of the girl's shoulders determined quite a bit of Rei was going to swing, as her swings were wild and untrained, power was seen in those swings but it was like fighting a body builder in a sense. Sure power might lie behind him but fighting was a art form, of any kind. Whether it be submission or striking there was a subtle art to it, and it was what determined just how good you were.

Akane eyed those punches and when the uppcercut came she narrowly stepped back, the fist smacking into the strands of hair on her forehead, whipping her bangs up into the air. Akane took a deep breath and focused her eyes on Rei's face now as the girl mostly seemed to have left herself open with that uppercut and would quick as lighting itself step in, closing the distance between the Lighting fist and the Cosplay fighter as she would attempt to throw a close quarters uppercut punch into Rei's stomach and attempt to screw the fist around against Rei's midsection if she hit.
