Personality: Maria is a sweet and gentle young woman both in and outside the ring. She has big dreams and is often very energetic and excitable outside the ring, and the prospect of trying her hand at wrestling is something she truly enjoys. However, Maria is very easily embarrassed and sometimes needs to psyche herself up to even get into the ring with her opponent, and is prone to sudden lapses in her usually unwavering confidence. Rather noticeably, Maria becomes very timid around aggressive and dominant opponent- a secret weakness of hers. Normally, though, Maria moves into everything at top speed, not thinking about the consequences until the lights go down and the cameras go on... at which point she sometimes realizes she's made a serious mistake.

Past/History: Maria Aschcroft is a young girl born into a well off family. From a young age, Maria was a hard worker and was hired as a 'maid', a job she actually thoroughly enjoyed. She rose rapidly in her position and was well payed, and it was during this time that she became enthralled with the idea of professional wrestling. She watched for years until, finally, she decided that it was her true calling and retired from her position on the house staff and sent in her application. Denied by multiple leagues, the red head was eventually accepted by the good people at Friction... a league she honestly didn't know much about as she never really looked at who she was sending application video too.
When doing her own research online, Maria had to admit that she was more than a little... embarrassed... over the kind of matches the league was known for. However, never one to quit at something once she set her mind to it, Maria accepted the invitation and hopped onto the first plane to the campus to begin her new career. She's in this to make friends and have fun, not for money or titles (though the paycheck is nice, in her opinion). Trained at a young age in martial arts, Maria thinks she's ready for the competition and was more than happy to be assigned to the Kawaii League, simply assuming that she would never get booked into any of the more 'naughty' types of matches. Of course she's wrong, but no one bothered to tell her that.

Wrestling Attire: Maria wears the attire of her last job- She wears a specially tailored black suit jacket and pants over her white vest and red tie. While the jacket is tailored with extra fabric so as not to impede her movement it's usually the first thing to go in a fight. She wears clean white gloves and black dress uniform shoes- in short, she dresses in a proper and formal manner, even in the ring.

Fun Facts:
- Maria is, despite her energetic nature, a true submissive at heart. While she'd never quit just because she was told to, it makes sexual matches against dominant opponents a lot harder for her.
- Maria's favorite food is Salmon Sushi... and Chocolate Covered Cherries.
- Maria is a trained martial artist, and it comes out in her matches- she uses quick, precise strikes as opposed to heavy blows.
- Maria wears simple black panties with a small and simple white cartoon rabbit's face on the front.
- Maria is a master chef, a skill carried over from her last job as a butler.
