Emi vs. Ayane

Ayane was standing back stAGE, stretching her arms and legs, preparing for her first match in the AFW. She could hardly wait to start. After all of her time seeking a propper challenge, she couldn't think of a better place than here, where the best wrestlers around came to fight. It couldn't have been any better either, as she was scheduled in a striking match. No grapples, no tap outs. Just the way she liked it. There was nothing more satisfying than knowing she could knock her opponent out with one well place kick to their skull.

When her entrance music blared, she grinned. "Lets do this," she would say ass she stepped out onto the entrance ramp. The crowd roared, but as she was a new girl, it wasn't really cheers for her, more just the excitement of the match that was about to unfold. Ayane didn't care though. Not about them anyway. All she cared about was her opponent, and how she was going to beat her to a pulp. A she walked down the ramp, she eyed the dark haired girl. She didn't seem like she knew her way around a fist fight, judging from her look alone. But looks could be deceiving, she knew that from experience.

Stepping into the ring, she would move to her corner and continue her stretches, waiting for the bell to ring. She didn't care much for pleasantries. What was the point of making nice with the person you were about to pummel?

After the bell had sounded, signaling for the match to begin, Ayane watched as this girl slid into a fighting stance. She sure was eager, she had to give her that. Then again, Ayane was more than a little eager herself, so she slid into her stance as well, slowly approaching her opponent. The girl was a bit shorter, so it was likely that her reach was a bit shorter than hers as well, but not by much, so it shouldn't make much of a difference. Even so, if it was any advantage at all, Ayane planned to exploit it. "I'm ready all right. Ready to knock your teeth out," Ayane would say. She needed to show this girl that she was all business. When she was close enough to the girl, she would slowly begin to circle her, and before long, she would aim a punch to the girls cheek. She wanted to start simple, test the waters before jumping in head first.

Ayane was genuinely shocked that her opponent was able to stand the jab so well. It seemed that she underestimated her. That was definitely a mistake. Not a moment later, the girl came back with a powerful punch of her own, forcing her to spit just a bit. She stood her ground though, and wouldn't yield to her. If she showed weakness, she would lose, and she would not accept that.

"Well, aren't you tough," Ayane would say. Now that she had tested the waters, it was time to jump in. Without hesitation, she would attempt to throw a kick to the girl side, and if it connected, she would then throw a three punch combo, all aimed at her face.

Ayane was pleased to see that she had managed to land the combo on her so easily. It brough a smug grin to her face. What made it even more satisfying, was that her opponent tried to block thinking that she was going for her face. Such a simple mistake. It made her wonder if this girl really knew the basics of a fight. Face shots weren't enough, body shots would help weaken them down to make the face shots easier. That was grade school stuff. Surely this girl knew that.

"Is that all you have?" Ayane asked, grinning smugly at her. She was glad to see it wouldn't be so easy, as the girl came back swinging. Ayane went to block the girls strike by blocking her face area, but she was surprised when the punch struck her in the chin, effectively staggering her back a few steps. This left her open for the briefest of moments for a follow-up.

Ayane was still recovering from the brain jarring uppercut that knocked her back, and was unable to block the incoming kick that struck the side of her head, effectively knocking her to a knee. "Uh..." She groaned, trying to sooth the pounding in her head. This girl was seriously getting on her nerves. She was getting a bit too cocky, but why shouldn't she? She knew she was good, she didn't need or want to pretend she wasn't.

With a growl of frustration, she would get back to her feet and move in toward her opponent. She would show her just how angry she was. She would attempt to kick the girl in her thigh, hoping to get her to focus on that. If that worked, she would try to grab the back of her head and pull her into herself, kneeling her in the gut with as much force as she was able.
