Speaking of wrestling, this past year I have actually been in the ring myself. This past summer I toured with a independent promotion that during their annual summer fair tour. Met a lot of talented men and women, plus I was blessed to officiate matches this summer with both former WWE and NWATNA wrestler Zach Gowen and former WWF Intercontinental Champion Tatanka.

While I'm doing a fair amount of in-ring training to wrestle I've mostly been the guy wearing the stripes and it's been amazing.

I didn't work that one but I saw a match on the same card this summer where a guy got counted out on a ferris wheel.

A big highlight for me was I got to officiate some matches that were taped and aired on television. I know I would not have gotten a chance like that in the old days but just the whole experience has been awesome and I have learned a lot. I still got more to learn but I am enjoying the ride.

So with the outcome of TLC, I really don`t know if I should be happy or sad. With only one big belt remaining, I fear that there will be even more Cenawinslol at the top now and at the latest I see him carry the belt after WM again for a long time. Don`t get me wrong, an exciting champion like Hogan, Rock, Austin or Hart can do such a thing, but a guy who gets booed by half his audience? I think boring wrestling times are coming our way with that development, at least at the top.

Working in the wrestling business sounds awesome at first glance, but I am pretty sure it's hard work for everyone involved(like most jobs^^).

So it looks like the title is called the WWE World Heavyweight Title...at least it sounds better than the unified title.

I do like the idea of Mysterio and big show tag teaming...they could be called...wait for it...

MYSTERISHOW!

Not sure what to think of the finish as I was expecting there to be some kind of swerve. The new name for the title reminds me back in days of when it was sometimes called the World Wrestling Federation (World) Heavyweight Championship.


It can be hard at times but it's all good at the end of the day.

So that was a really really really awesome main event....until the DQ.



I normally don't have any issue with this, but if there was ONE TIME for a Heel to win clean...it was NOW. Seriously, the first ever defense of the WWE World Heavyweight Title, "the most important title in the history of sports entertainment", and they have an awesome match worthy of the belt...and it ends like THAT!?
