Under Arrest? Shiori and the long arm of the law(kaz)

Bureau of Lieutnant Garuga Vincentia Ise, Tokyo Police Department Outpost, West Tokyo:
After Aurelia had thrown her out of the building from her own show and forced her into a hell in a cell match, Senior road agent Ise had been furious for hours and the bane of everyone approaching her with just anything. Even a money rain wouldn't have made her happy and she cursed herself for still working for these ungrateful bitches.

At least she learned a valuable thing about AFW: Your boss is not necessarily sane or reasonable. And both Aurelia and Lukretia would learn that nobody made a fool out of Ise and just walked away like that! For that reason, she used her own bureau at the Tokyo Police Department instead of an AFW bureau where only the two girls from Jumpstreet department could show up, but both had no pull when dealing with Ise.

But it was a new day, a new chance and she was halfway calm.
"Hana-san, I wait for a person named ...Shiori. If she arrives, let her enter."
she told her personal secretary while she lulled herself in her luxury chair, clad in her cop uniform, hanged with all her medals and other stuff for good conduct while she activated the facial scanner to identify Shiori properly.

A dark haired girl walked into the police quarter rather casually, escorted by a guard. She wore a pink jacket with white tank top inside it, a denim short pants and a pair of warm looking dark boots. Her expression was cold, although the lollipop she's biting on her mouth made her appearance less unfriendly. The guard escorted the girl all the way to what seemed to be a high ranking officer's office door, where they were greeted by a secretary woman.

"Ah, miss Shiori, isn't it? We've been waiting for you," said the secretary politely.

After a few check ups the girl was escorted inside and told to wait in the waiting room. As she was left alone, Shiori would glance around the room before sitting on the couch. She heard that the person who invited her today was someone named Garuga Ise, a staff in the AFW which also happened to work for the police force. Shiori remembered that she used to went to the police station a couple of times when she was searching for her former kouhai. She would let out a little sigh as she was reminded about her fruitless search. It was the police who took him in, and she never heard of him again afterwards. The girl never trusted the police anymore ever since then, which made her wonder what business did this Garuga Ise person had with her.

"Ah, Shiori-san. Come in.
Ise's head was looking out of the door as soon as her secretary announced that her guest was here, signaling her to come in.

"Please take a seat. Can I offer you something? Tea, cookies, water, a coke?"
Ise pointed to a chair she used for guests, simple but comfortable, assuming that Shiori would come in. She didn't put any alcohol at anyone's disposal, assuming Shiori was a professional athlete and refrained from alcohol.

She put a glass of water up for herself, twitching around on her chair until she found a comfortable spot for her slightly hurting back.
"So, Miss Shiori, lets come to AFW business. We from the R&D department were quite impressed with your match against Heather Sunderland, a wrestler with nothing less than the number one contendership at her disposal."
Heather was a bit on a losing street lately, but that didn't take anything away from Shiori.

Shiori entered Ise's room casually while her expression remained unchanged. As the police woman offered her to sit and asked if she wanted something, she'd glanced at Ise with her dark eyes before sitting down on the chair and took her lollipop off her mouth.

"Just water is fine," she'd say.

Ise then started to talk about her match against Heather a few weeks back. Shiori would smiled a little as she recalled what happened during their encounter on the ring and the shower room a few days after. She could still Heather's cute face and reactions very well as if they're just happened yesterday. Shiori managed to refrain herself from giggling at the thought.

"Mhhmm," she'd let out. "So what about it?" the dark haired woman would ask as her cold expression gradually returned.

"A water it is then.
Shiori reminded Ise very strongly of the typical teenage small time offender she liked to press out like lemons for amusement or personal gain, but she kept a small smile on her face while she was pouring water into a glass and put it before her guest. While she rearranged herself, her police scanner had found a matching person in the data hub.

"What about it? AFW R&D looks out for the midcard ladies and tries to build them into the stars of tomorrow."
Ise didn't state the obvious that she thought that Shiori could be a star in the making, mainly cause she wanted to see if her guest was capable of following her mentally.
"Most of the newer girls don't use their first chances to prove themselves to the management and swim on in a sea of mediocrity until they ask for their releases cause they can't take it anymore. The question, Miss Shiori, is the following: Are you ambitious enough to look for a way to the top or are you contend with the occasional fucking and match?"

Shiori just watched as Ise poured a water to a glass and put it in front of her. She would put back her lollipop on her mouth as she stared into Ise's eyes as she listened to her words. There was a moment of silence until the dark haired woman finally took her lollipop out again.

"Stars, huh..?" she'd say while maintaining her expression. "That doesn't sound too bad at all..."

Her tone was dry, so it'd be difficult to tell whether she was expressing interest or just being sarcastic. Shiori would took the glass and drank some of the water in it before putting it back to the table. The dark haired woman would took a quick glance at the room before returning her gaze back to Ise.

"Not too bad at all, Ise-san. But I only come to AFW for one reason."

"Yes, stars. Granted, all AFW wrestlers are paid extremely well cause of the kinky stuff they do, but there are the chosen ones and the regular ones. You think for example Cecilia Northman trips to Helsingborg in a crappy public airplane like you would, getting buggered by fans? "
she asked, stating the obvious again while fully ignoring the *what if I give a crap?* attitude question. Ise was an upper midcard face champion wrestler while active and had constantly been buggered at public places. She knew how to behave, had smiled and written autographs, but someone like Shiori would have problems with that when she got a behavior like this when handling a *grabber* fan.

But something other was probably of bigger concern for her, making Ise curious.
"What's that reason?"

The dark haired woman gave Ise a long gaze at her question. She's a police so she might know. She might not. Still, it never really hurt to ask. Shiori would reached for the pocket inside her jacket and took out a photo. She would stare at it for a second before handing it to the police woman. Her expression seemed to softened up a bit after she looked at the photo.

It was a photo of her younger self and a rather skinny boy with dark hair and apathetic look on his face. They were wearing the same high school uniform. One of Shiori's arms was wrapped around his shoulder while her other hand was put forward. The photo looked like it was taken from a mobile phone. On the bottom frame there was something written in a small, neat handwriting.

"He's taken into a juvenile prison about 6 years ago," she'd began. "I heard he was released after 6 months but I never heard anything about him anymore. None of your colleagues know about his whereabouts. Recently I heard that he was working in AFW, but I haven't meet anyone like him..."

Shiori sounded a bit sad with her story before she looked away. There's a subtle hint of loneliness in her face as she gazed at the window. After a while she would turn back to Ise, her expression seemed to be more normal this time.

"I couldn't care less about being famous and all that stuff," said Shiori. "I just wanted to meet him again."

"There is a reason my colleagues don't know. In fact, they probably knew where he was when you asked then, but they could not tell you as you are not related to him or his legal custodian. Privacy of identity makes sense, but looks cruel sometimes."
Ise was gleefully smiling inwards but stayed calm but interested on the outside. This could be pretty easy for her. The partner of her associate Deathbird, Anja, was exactly the same type of emotional wreck that Shiori seemed to be. Those girls were usually highly motivated and worked for crumbs when their needs were met. Downside was that they were usually hard to crack and resistant to pressure cause they had less to lose.
"Pretty sure your friend left a paper trail after he was released, even more when he was on probation. If that is fruitless, I could initiate an artificial aging program with your photo. That's a method to determine how he should likely look today. I can show you how it works if you don't believe me. And if even that fails cause he had surgery or something like that, I can search the background information of AFW tension wrestlers for unexplainable holes and biometric data."

Ise was nipping on her water, slightly lowering it to cover her mouth before speaking.
"I could. If you play along in the sense of the company."
Meaning in Ise's sense, but Shiori was a clever girl and would probably pick that up by her own.

Shiori let out a little sigh as Ise's explanations. She already heard that so many times from her colleagues which made her gave up looking for her former kouhai through the police. The dark haired woman put back her lollipop as she thought of leaving the place when suddenly Ise said something intriguing. She would gaze into the police woman eyes, hoping to find some sense of truth within her words. After Ise finished her speech, Shiori would continue to stare at her silently before she pulled out her lollipop again and threw it to the trash can nearby.

"So what do you want from me?" she'd ask with a rather curious look.

The dark haired girl thought that she might get into a couple of unlikely situations by agreeing to Ise's terms. But she'd put that aside for the sake of seeing her former kouhai again, at least from the time being.
