Honestly, the fact that people try to have characters act innocently, or act above doing hentai things in hentai matches is just flat out bad rping. Your characters already in the damn match, so dont go about acting like their above or too pure for whatever type of sexual act is going to occur.

Then why the hell did you/she accept the match? Character and story wise it makes no sense.

Also, It's hard to be innocent when you're having sex in front of a full audience on live TV

Hey, that's a turn on for some people. Now, playing the part and putting a good effort into it is different from not being turn on by it. I think interacting with it in disgust shows that someone wants to play that part and ignoring a certain part of the match shows that a person is uncomfortable with it and the story shouldn't have gone in that direction. That's why it's always good to know how far people are willing to go in matches! Despite my lack of posting in the main forum and my hiatus from PM matches, in the few matches that I do wrestle in, I love playing an innocent character that is forced into a match that they don't like/want to do. I have my own continuity when doing PM and IM matches that in every match, my character is new and innocent and forced to partake in the barbaric rituals of the other- Excuse me, I think I have a match or two to reply to.

(That doesn't mean that I'm going to reply to the match.)

Taylor's match against Cirno's Karina ended in DQ. Jamie and Bullet Ant were double count out-ed.

And as for the powerplaying thing, the problem is that everyone likes their characters. It'd be fine if one person wanted to dominate and the other wanted to be submissive, because both people are getting what they want out of it. That's not usually the case when someone goes superman, though. You should be able to win well and lose well, and put your opponent over either way unless you were specifically aiming to not.

For example, if Taylor had a match against Cecelia, I would sell the shit out of Cecelia's strength. I'd make her seem like a giant hulking powerhouse, because compared to Taylor she is. Hopefully, Lunar wouldn write Taylor as being at a big size and strength disadvantage without turning her into a puny little wimp. If I wrote Taylor as if she was having no trouble with Cecelia's strength, I'd be an ass. If Lunar wrote Cecelia as having no trouble with Taylor's speed, he'd be an ass. While staying in character, it'd be a good idea for Taylor to be afraid of getting slammed into next week, and for Taylor's fast and relentless style to make Cecelia think twice about trying to steamroll her.

Anyway the idea is that powerplaying is a symptom of only looking out for your interests and ignoring those of your opponent. You have to take good care of your RP partner, and if you decide to do a match without predetermining a winner, then be prepared to lose if the match goes that way, and IC make exciting and believable, OOC be gracious about it.

Innocently being forced into a match:
That happens every day in AFW, it happened in WWE sometimes too kayfabe wise. It happens to some wrestlers even in their private life(WOOOO!!)Â´and results from poverty, blackmail and various other reasons like being a closet lesbian.

But in order to believe that it is possible in RL, you have to picture law and order to be either:
a) stupid
b) uninterested cause they believe wrestling is fake
c) corrupt
d) to bloated and slow to react
I have no problems to believe in c and d, and not much with b, so that's no problem to me.

The champ is Superman:
At least she is only Superman or Doctor Doom, not Galactus or Onslaught. There are quite a few guys and girls that can stand their ground or kick Superman around, so he *puts them over*. Galactus never puts someone over, learns nothing from the past and does *the same old shit* time over time.
I personaly like a Superman heel like HHH, chicken shit champion heels like the Miz bore me to tears. After reading how Sarah Gatt fears evil cops, I toyed with the thought of making one cause I find that an interesting twist and a step away from being Mary Sue.

I think Bluemouse said best one of the things I was trying to say earlier. Which is why Bluemouse is awesome.

This whole stupid thing was supposed to be about getting people to realize/remember that your supposed to work with and respect your rp partner during matches, not just look out for yourself and make yourself look good. Obviously Im not an orator, so the next time I have an issue with this, Ill just have Bluemouse say it for me.

Honestly, Im shocked the two mods or our admin havent done anything about this debating thread yet. I halfway expected them to lock it and to have received a lecture for "causing trouble" by now.

Harrier: If the champ is Superman...who beats Superman? Darkside? Doomsday? Vendal Savage? If so, then who could step forth and beat Darkside or Doomsday? The issue with Superman champs is escalation. You need tougher and tougher foes to accomplish the task and eventually your left with an Omega DarkSuperDoomSide, who is completly untouchable by anyone. Not that a coward champ is needed, but a champ that can get by off of skill, speed, or intelligence is just as important as a Superman that gets by on having stronger facepunches.

Besides, Superman is Boring.

Also, the Miz was awesome, dont be a smark.

Christian and Miz(same physique) were pathetic heel Champions, has nothing to do with the fact that *Mr Shovel* HHH was awesome as champion. Christian forgot how to wrestle over night as heel against main event opponents, actually sad to watch. Bret Hart never forget how to wrestle as a heel, therefore he was still great.
Christian is one of my favorite wrestlers who I really like as face champion, but I couldn't be happier to see *Arrive - Pedigree - Leave* on the Miz or on Drew McIntyre who both fail to entertain me.

@Superman
Yeah, why not? All the guys who you listed have beaten Superman in the past, but where has he *risen above hate* and buried them later? Doomsday can defeat him every time, every day. Darkseid is on the same page with Superman, Captain Atom, Bizarro, Metallo, Savage and other guys. Superman usually gets his ass handed to him when he faces Lex Luthor, a common man <img src=

Mainevent/Upper Midcarder: Superman, Darkseid, Metallo, Savage, Lobo!
Upper Midcard: Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Joker, Bane, Ras al Ghul, Martian Manhunter
Midcard: Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Songbird, Green Arrow

DC has actually a wonderful Midcard who is capable of challenging the upper Midcard without making you think that for example Batman can defeat Killer Croc effortlessly in a squash. The same with Superman, some guys like Metallo just have his number cause they were designed this way.

But i can see where you heading too, the moment Superman turns into Doomsday is a big problem.
