There was no doubt about the fact that Kia was nervous. This was her first fight. To add to her worries she had no idea who she would be facing. She had heard rumors that a bunch of sick old men had decided to square her off against one of the best. For the sake of her mental composure she dismissed these rumors. To give her the best start possible she needed to train herself to beleive that who she was facing today was weak and helpless. She needed to beleive that she cdould crush them with her fists. Her mind processed these thoughts, but her heart did not beleive.

She shook her head and a heavy sigh escaped from her lips. Her nerves were getting the better of her once again as she stood behind the screen that lead out onto the catwalk.

"Its just a normal match. The standard. Just like everything you saw on TV. Just like everything you saw in the gym" Kia paced backwards and forward saying these short sentances to herself to counter the nerves invading her brain. Today was an important step towards her goal. She was not going to let nerves defeat her at this point. She had been through worse. She turned to face the screen divider and closed her eyes. After completing a few breathing techniques she opened her eyes once again.

It was time.

She walked past the screen and onto the catwalk. Today she was wearing her short and baggy white top that just covered below her chest. Thankfully she was wearing a standard white bra underneath. She was also wearing her black button shorts that just covered the required regions and nothing more. She was wearing black knee high wrestling boots as well to finish off her look. Several boys and men in the crowd whistled as she began to strut down the catwalk.

There was a strange feeling in her stomach as she walked down the catwalk towards the ring. It was a feeling of europhia and excitement. All of her nerves had quickly been washed away as numerous amounts of males cheered her on. Once she got to the edge of the ring she turned around and bowed to the audience before climbing the ropes and jumping inside. The ring was much bigger than she had ever remembered. There was alot of room to move about. She stored the information in her head. It might come in use someday. Once the annoucer had finished speaking she turned and focused her attention on the opposite catwalk, eagerly and somewhat nervously waiting to see who would appear.

Unfortunately, the rumors Kia had heard were true; She was scheduled against a woman who had been around since near the beginning of the debut of AFW. However, she has had a slight adjustment in attitude from who she was before. She was still full of herself, and had a hatred for Tasha, but she had dialed her rage way back.

She stood backstage in her blue cloak and leotard, admiring herself in the mirror. "Damn I look good.." She chuckles, doing a couple of subtle poses, and licks her lips slowly. "Mmm.. I would jump you in a heartbeat." She said to the mirror, chuckling a little before she smoothed out her cloak, and stepped towards the stairs to the ramp.

Disturbed's 'Mistress' began to play in the arena, as Marie stepped out onto the stage, both arms out high to the crowd. She heard a mixture of cheers and boos, some happy to see her back, others booing her because of her previous heel tactics. Well, she'd bring the crowd to her side tonight, that was for sure.

She calmly strut her way down the ramp with an elegance few women could emulate, until she reached the bottom of the ramp, and climbed into the ring. Once in, she slowly took off her cloak, and turned towards her opponent. A newbie. How fun. A malicious smile graced Marie's face as she draped her cloak over the ropes, and then turned back towards the newbie. "First time here?" She spoke up to her.

All of her confindence was blown as soon as she saw her opponent. So the rumor about the sick old men was true. Nethertheless Kia was here. So she might as well try to win.

Her opponent looked more confinident, stronger and faster. But no matter she would try her hardest to defeat this menace and humilate her in front of this crowd. Once she was on the ring she had the chance to size her up properly. When she mentioned "newbie" her blood seemed to boil.

She had two ways she could react. Honest or cocky. And you can guess what she went with.

"I may be new but tonight I will be dragging thar cheap leotard around this ring like a ragdoll" she then paces forward until she was just infront of Marie "if you try snd stop me I will crush you. So try it if you dare!" With that said she turned on her heel and walked back to her corner. That speech had washed away from nerves. plus it gave her time to think of her strategy for this match

Contrary to the newbie's belief, the league was actually run by a woman. One Cassandra Sellers, as Marie had the pleasure of meeting long ago. She crossed her arms under her bust as the girl tried to talk up a big game. She merely chuckled in response.

"My my.. that's not half bad smack talk." She admitted as the girl walks right up to her. "I only hope you use your fists as well as your mouth." She commented as she walked away, and stretched her arms over her head, waiting for the bell. She couldn't wait to bring this girl down a peg or two.

Kia talked a big game, but in reality it was a bluff. She uses her adrealine to pump her ego up so it blinds her. However they were so truth to her words. She was going to try her best to drag this woman around the ring. Kia had to do her best to zone out Marie's response. Once in her corner she became expresionless and unreadable. Clearly she was trying to hide what she was planning.

A few seconds later the bell rang and Kia simply took 3 steps forward and stood there. Her legs were poised to strike, althought the placing of the feet gave no indication in which direction she was planning to move. She never spoke a word either. She just stared at Marie and held her stance.

This was sue to two things. The first was that Kia knew she was outclassed at least by 3 or maybe even 4 whole levels. Charging in against her would be suicide. The second reason she was standing there was to freak Marie out. She said nothing to Marie and never even moved from the stance. Kia was also doing her best to avoid blinking. The quicker she got into Marie's mind the better.

Marie smiles as the bell rang, and casually stepped towards the woman as she stepped towards her and went for some kind of kung fu stance. She didn't care about reading her face, or even her movements. She just knew what she wanted to do to her. She moved towards her, and tried to grab for a handful of her hair. If that worked, she'd follow up with a knee to her gut. She'd thrust up with some power, but not all of it. She was planning to play with this girl for a while, and didn't want her to tire out so quickly.

All alng her legs were primed to jump backwards. It was her plan regardless. This meant it was easy for her to jump back and avoid Marie's hair grab. She quickly thought in her head what the consquences were if that attack had landed. She quickly shook the thought out and focused on the task at hand.

She had avoided the grab, but at a price. She was now within a metre of the turnbuckle and if Marie's next attack hit, there was a good chance that it would land and force her into the painful turnbuckle, a place she would not rather be.

Therefore she needed an attack. She rushed forward, using her legs to srping her forward towards Marie. She ran closer until she got to about a few steps away where she then threw herself feet first into the ground, ramming her feet into Marie's legs. A slide tackle. Simple, but effective.

Marie frowned when she missed the grab. The girl was a little faster than she first thought. She then watched her rushing forward, closing the already short distance between her. As the woman rushed at her, she'd move in too, and try to clothesline her as she's about to drop to the ground anyways. "Take this!"

Kia was fast but not fast enough to be able to avoid the clothesline while carrying on with her attack. She let out a small grunt as the clothesline hit her and sent her slamming into the ground. Know that hanging around on the ground was not a good idea. Kia rolled away a few times before jumping back to her feet and getting her legs back into bouncing stance

Marie smiles as her clothesline managed to get first. After she knocks Kia down to the ground, she raises her boot up, and tries to plant her boot down on her, planning to rub her boot a bit to humiliate her. Before that can happen though, Kia rolls out of the way, and rolls around Marie, escaping her own corner. Marie merely turned with her, and watched her get back up to her feet, crossing her arms under her chest. "Whenever you're ready to begin, let me know." She taunted.
