With a clearly hateful look in his eyes, Clyde would keep that chain wrapped tightly around Mia's throat as he tried to strangle her in an attempt to really wear her down. With that chain wrapped around her throat, trying to buck Clyde off could prove bad for Mia as the force could cause the chain to dig deeper into her throat and choke her more.

Still, Clyde was bucked off somewhat, but still kept the chain around Mia's throat, trying to pull back even tighter now as his back rested on the arena floor.

She choked hard over the chain. The chain she used to her advantage earlier was now against her. She couldn't pry it open or at least she wasn't able to in her condition. Instead, she continued to roll about on the floor, hoping that Clyde was too stupid to not notice her actions as she rolled towards the steel stairs, she would suddenly try to slam Clyde's back into it. If that doesn't get her free, she would roll back and than roll again into the steel stairs.

Her main goal was to get Clyde to slam his head into the edge of the steel stairs to break the hold over her.
