Into The Unknown

Clyde couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when he heard Violate refer to Heather as 'Alice', finding the given name to be rather odd and out of place that could only be matched by the apparent Tea party they were going to attend, which caused Clyde to furrow his brow a bit.

"T-Tea Party!? Clyde Gastin don't do no Tea Parties! Thought the Texan to himself before Violate suddenly turned towards him, causing Clyde to adjust himself and stand upright in attention for a moment as Violate startled him a bit before she went on to classify Lia as The March Hare, asking if it was her Un-Birthday. It was at that moment Clyde froze a bit in place and stared at Violate, swearing he had heard such references before, but couldn't remember exactly when or where. Instead all Clyde could do was just stare and listen to Violate, meeting Heather's gaze briefly as she looked at him, not knowing what to really say either as the girl with the top hat declared today to be the Un-Birthdays of Heather, Clyde and the girl who answered the intercom, the latter apparently not understanding Violate either.

Finally, Violate would buzz the gate open, leaving Heather and Clyde to stand there in a far more hesitant manner than before to actually step inside. But once Violate beckoned for the couple to join her, Heather would step into the courtyard and Clyde would follow her despite getting a rather bad feeling about following Violate, who was emitting a rather nostalgic feeling to Clyde.

"So uh... Miss... How is a Raven like a Writing Desk?" Clyde would ask curiously to Violate as he stood beside Heather while they walked into the courtyard.

"I got a weird feelin' about this babe... Like I'm startin' to recognize some of the things she be sayin'." Clyde would say in a whisper to Heather beside him.

Violate chuckled at their confusion and spared them no more and answer than her airy laugh. "Fufufu." She let the gate closed and stepped behind them, putting a hand on either of their shoulders and stepping between them.

"Recognize?" She said, inserting herself into the conversation.She looked over at Clyde, her face close and then at Heather, her face also close. She then stepped away and with large and loud steps, made her way around to the front of them, walking backwards in step.

"The both of you seem familiar too, fufu." She then smiled and pushed her finger to her chin. "One of you is living a dream and one of you has just woken up from one. But, which is which?' She asked. She slid her hand into her breast pocked as she hopped backwards and pulled out a gun. She pointed it at Heather and then at Clyde, looking over them carefully with her smile as she gaged her reactions.

Hearing Clyde ask Violate about the riddle, Heather would just shake her head and keep walking, not expecting the girl to actually oblige him with an answer, and her suspicions ended up being correct. It didn't matter to her though, she was just glad they were past the gate. In her mind they were making great time and as soon as they got to Lia they should be given clear path to the home stretch..or at least Heather hoped.

"Wha?? Recognize? What do you mean by--" Heather would let out before Violate would suddenly interject in their conversation, causing Heather to stop in her tracks as the girl brought her fact up close to them. She would watch as Violate walked to the front of them before she would continue talking.

She spoke of the two seeming familiar, which confused Heather quite a bit as she had never seen Violate before then. Then she went on to say what she did afterwards, causing Heather to stare at her and actually ponder for a second. She was about to open her mouth to say something when suddenly Violate would hop backwards and pull out a gun.

Heather would gasp, jumping up as the girl pointed the gun at her before she would raise her hands up slightly. "Wh-..ah...h-hey hold on.." Heather would let out, not knowing at all what to say to the girl, fearing for her life as she kept her eyes solidly on the gun in Violate's hand.

Clyde was just about to explain to Heather what exactly he was recognizing about the things Violate was saying before the girl suddenly interjected herself into the conversation so suddenly from out of nowhere, bringing her face close to Clyde, prompting him to pull his head back away from her at least until she turned to Heather. Honestly feeling rather uneasy about this odd young woman. Clyde would watch as Violate walked to the front of them before she would continue talking and declared that the both Heather and Clyde seemed familiar as well, which greatly confused the Texan.

"We...Do..?" Clyde would ask in regards to Violate's declaration that He and Heather seemed familiar to her, making Clyde wonder where she knew them from because he honestly didn't know who she was and neither did Heather apparently by the sounds of things. Clyde would then go silent and just stand there with a look of sheer confusion as Violate went on to state: "One of you is living a dream and one of you has just woken up from one. But, which is which?' "....The Hell you talkin' 'bout, lady!?" Clyde would demand to know, honestly wanting to understand what Violate was talking about, only to be further frustrated by her odd method of speech that was barely ever clear. Did she mean he had awoken from his Coma? No. Did she mean that he awoken to the fact that he was on to something regarding her words that led to something? Possibly. Either way Clyde wanted to know, but before he could ask another question, he saw Violate hop backwards and draw out a gun.

"Oh Shit." Clyde would let out in a startled manner as he quickly raised his hands before trying to step in front of Heather and shield her Violate's gun, but before he could she would turn it towards him, prompting Clyde to stop dead in his tracks and remain still as he looked down the Barrel of Violate's gun. His heart now beginning to beat madly as that old familiar feeling of seeing Death creep over the horizon in the distance began to sweep back over him once again. On the outside, Clyde looked firm and strong as he glared at Violate and her pistol, not looking to be as afraid of Death like he used to be. On the inside however, his heart was beating madly with fear for himself and his beloved.

"Uhhh... You ain't Mad cuz we didn't answer that their riddle correctly, huh?" Clyde would ask in a nervously joking manner as he attempted to slowly edge himself away from Heather now that Violate had the gun pointed towards him.

Violate watched as the two shuffled around and looked at her with confusion and fear. She had goosebumps as she looked them over. It was such a wonderful feeling, watching people's minds work out an impossible situation. "Do you think, if I pulled the trigger, that anyone would say a word?" She asked. "Fufufu." She tilted her head from side to side as she looked them over, not answering either of their queries.

Just then, behind her, the door opened and a black haired maid stood at it, looking solemn as she glanced at Violate. Macha knew better than to interrupt Violate but her appearance caused Violate to laugh. "Fufufu, your chariot awaits. Too little to late though... bang."

She pulled the trigger and a splash of water shot past Clyde and Heather and Violate erupted with laughter as she blew on her 'smokin squirtgun'.

Hearing Violate's cryptic question, Clyde began to sweat a little as his insides trembled with fear, not knowing if he and Heather were going to die right here and now at the hands of this mad woman, barely noticing the appearance of Macha as he stood frozen in place, looking down the barrel of that gun while Violate laughed, saying their chariot awaits but was too late. Clyde was sure this was the end. Again.

"Heather I Love Y-..." Clyde would begin to say before Violate cut him off by saying 'Bang', causing Clyde's heart to skip a beat he awaited that gunshot to fire off and waste him right there. Hoping he would be the first to die so he didn't have to see Heather shot. Not realizing that his wish would leave Heather to watch him die before she was killed.

However, instead of a loud gunshot and a bullet, out came a small stream of water that flew past Clyde's cheek and trickled against him, slowly bringing his hand up to his cheek to discover that it was in fact ".......Water?" Clyde would let out in disbelief as he stared at his palm with a twitching eye before looking over at Heather then to Violate who was laughing it up.

It was a cruel joke that Clyde did not find funny one bit. His eyes would narrow at Violate, scowling at her angrily as he clinched his fists tightly, releasing he had been played for a fool and made to believe that he was going to die for a third time in his life.

"That ain't funny!" Clyde would yet out before lunged at Violate and tried to grab her by the collar of her outfit, shaking her a bit if he manged to grab her. "You Think that's funny!? You got some nerve pullin' that kinda shit on us, lady! Try that again and I'll show ya somethin' real funny..." Clyde would let out as he glared at Violate, taking the almost near-death situation very seriously as he shook Violate up a bit.

"...What?? That's.." Heather would let out at Violate's question about her pulling the trigger. She would hear the doors open and see the girl appear behind them, showing an entry into the mansion. It was right there, the destination that they came here for, just beyond their reach, and here they were being held up at gunpoint.

She would hear Violate's words, accompanied by Clyde's little 'last declaration' to Heather, causing her eyes to widen. She would instinctively bring her hands to a guarding position, something that in reality would be completely useless, as she expected the gun to go off. However, instead of a loud bang, what she heard was a squirting sound, followed by an outburst of laughter from Violate.

Heather would remain in her recoiled position for a while, almost in disbelief as she blinked her eyes a couple of times. After a few seconds, she would take a deep breath, thanking the fact that the gun was just a toy, an incredible wave of relief coming over her. "Damnit..I can't take stuff like that. This is already too crazy...I hope not everyone in this place is like this." Heather would think to herself, holding back her anger the best that she could as to not waste time, she'll just have to get the girl back for the incredibly cruel joke some other time. At least, that was what she thought.

Heather's heart would skip a beat again as Clyde responded in his own way, getting quite a bit worked up over it, and understandably. She would watch as Clyde went to grab Violate's collar, causing Heather to step up to him a bit. "C-Clyde wait, relax!" She would let out, but she knew that deep inside she wanted to flip out too, but she knew it wasn't the smartest thing to do in this situation.

Violate grinned from ear to ear as she saw the reactions of the two. It was absolutely marvelous. She just wanted to lick her lips. Out of strangers, this was the best she could do, aside from having them turn and run back screaming. Oh well. She let Clyde grab her and continued to smile.

"Personally, I think it's drollery of the highest... caliber, fufu." Violate said with a wide grin. Violate then smacked away Clyde's hand and brushed off her suit coat.

"By the way." She asked as she pushed her face forward staring at the two. "Who... Are... you? Fufufu." She said and then chuckled.

As Clyde held onto the collar of Violate's coat, he couldn't help but narrow his eyes at her and glare as she continued to keep on smiling. No doubt still laughing it up to herself for that cruel joke she played on Heather and Clyde, scaring them half to the death. It was the 2nd time Clyde stared down the barrel of someone's gun and thought he was going to die. It was starting to bring back some unwanted and painful memories of his final night in his hometown of Liberty.

Even as Heather told Clyde to relax, he couldn't. He wanted to smack that smile right off of Violate's face, but even Clyde knew that would be wrong of him and wouldn't be too proud of himself for striking a woman like that either. While Clyde never had any problems punching out any man or woman he got into a fight with, especially if it was a match, hitting girls wasn't something he enjoyed doing.

He would later roll his eyes as he heard Violate's lame ass joke, slightly bothered by the wide grin she emitted before she smacked his hand away and began to brush off her coat. Clyde however would not back away and would just stand there in front of Violate with a rather stern and bitter frown, remaining silent until she asked her question and chuckled.

"I could say the same to you, lady." Clyde would snap back with clear irritation and aggravation in his voice, bitterly frowning at the young woman who wouldn't stop smiling, laughing acting weird and asking her offbeat questions. If anyone was going to answer, Violate's question it would have to be Heather since Clyde was far too pissed off to indulge in a polite conversation and answer Violate's questions at this point.

Heather watched on as Clyde took hold of Violate, but to her surprise, the girl didn't seem to care all that much. In fact, she would just continue smiling before she made her little pun on words, smacking away Clyde's hand.

Heather would look over at Clyde to gauge his reaction, see what he was doing. She was glad that he wasn't lashing out at her anymore, not trying to grab her again, but the fact that he wasn't backing away at all, standing there up in front of her worried Heather a little. She thought that any one thing might cause Clyde to go at her again and she knew she would have to step in.

Hearing the girl speak, Heather would turn her attention back to Violate. Even though she was calming down Clyde, Heather too had no amusement in the little trick that Violate played on them. However, Heather knew that the girl was standing before their entrance and she would have to 'play by her rules' for now. "What??" Heather would let out in confusion at Violate's question.

She would hear Clyde's response and would put her hand up as if to stop him from going any further with it. Taking a step in towards Violate, Heather would put her hand on Clyde's shoulder, trying to back him away a little so she could get the question. "Who are we? What do you even mean?"
