Kumo vs Zohara

Kumo's arms flailed for a while as she tried fighting off the rather tight headlock. This girl meant business, that was for damn sure. Kumo thought she had the gypsy pinned as more of a quick-paced opponent, this seemed to suggest the contrary. The chiropractic acupuncturist combatant could feel as Zohara tried to drag her to the ground with an even tighter hold to the head. Kumo was determined not to tap or pass out and she would do whatever she could to get out. Not being able to see exactly where she was striking would be troublesome, but Kumo decided to try and strike the redhead in the most sensitive areas of her sides and her lower spine with a sharp jabbing hand. There was certain to be a few misses, but even if she didn't hit exactly where she aimed, her hope was that it may at least scare Zohara into letting her go, otherwise she was sure to be dragged to the mat.

Zohara felt that she'd seized the opening, this was the beginning of wearing her opponent down in her mind, maybe she could keep this match one sided. Zohara was already so caught up in her own head, that she hadn't even considered the resistance. Kumo's strikes were something like being stabbed. The pain was much less blunt, much more direct, they nearly felt targeted, though her opponent seemed to be simply flailing at random. It didn't take much, Zohara felt her back groan in protest to leaving itself open to such shots any longer. A few had hit her hip, which didn't feel great either, Zohara would actually appease her opponent, she was clearly a wise fighter, knew to avoid the danger. Zohara wondered if she would be able to outlast Kumo, as gaining an advantage seemed difficult for both parties. At some point, someone would be fatigued. It couldn't be her. Zohara decided to let things start anew once again, distancing herself from striking range, as the hits had actually gotten to her.

Zohara would acknowledge the moment Kumo appeared ready, and move back in, fast,hoping to tackle the Asian girl down and off her feet. So long as she wasn't stopped by her crafty opponent, of course. Either way, Zohara told herself to throw herself at this match now, despite the possibility of ending up in trouble, she didn't want to make the wrong impression, or come off as someone who would back down. At last, in Zohara's mind, the match would finally begin, despite feeling a bit achy already.

Kumo felt her blind jabs land a few critical spots as she soon also felt the pressure on her head released. The Asian girl rolled herself away and towards the nearest corner, holding her head as she readied herself for the ring around her once more. This match was thus-far at a stalemate. While that made Kumo pleased with her opponent, she was starting to be frustrated by the lack of a clear-cut leader in the match.

Kumo shook off her feeling as she and Zohara prepared to throw themselves at each other once more. Zohara had wasted no time in trying to tackle Kumo, but the Asian had other plans. Being near the ropes, Kumo would grab onto the top rope and pull her entire body upwards in order to try and dodge Zohara's takedown. She would then attempt to follow up by rolling down the gypsy's back while preparing to hook an arm between her legs, aiming to flip Zohara onto her back for a quick pin attempt.

Zohara was planning on adding some aggression, taking it to the Asian girl for the first time in the match. Yet it wouldn't go as planned, as Kumo proved to be as agile as ever. Zohara's eyes caught the movement, she didn't know what to expect, until she found herself shoulders down, head on the mat as her legs struggled to orientate them selves again. She had been caught off guard, it was getting frustrating, as she wasn't used to wrestling people that could keep up with her. This time, there was a count, and a struggle to break out of the pin. The ref's hand was just about to hit the mat for the 2 count when she forced herself off the mat.

After that somewhat near-fall, Zohara knew to be careful, as the carpet could be swept out from beneath her when she least expected it. She quickly stood, and would walk in, close to Kumo and go to wrap her arms around her opponent's waist, loosely, as she would try to slip behind her. If she made it that far, her grip would tighten on the shorter girl, and she'd go for a German suplex as quickly as possible to avoid giving Kumo time to predict it.

Kumo sprang right back into a straight-standing position when Zohara had managed to kick out of the near-fall pin-attempt. The Asian girl had no desire to let the gypsy get a chance to regain momentum as she wanted to land a kick that would connect her shin to the redhead's head to keep her from getting to her feet. However, Zohara seemed to still be feeling quite agile, so she may get to her feet soon enough to only take the shin to her side.

Zohara walked right into her opponents attack, jaw clattering as she took the rough impact. Zohara fell back, not feeling great after that last attack. She rested her head on her shoulder, her other hand grabbing her jaw for a moment, but she quickly tried to conceal the fact that she was in pain. She would manage to sit up a few seconds later, if Kumo hadn't intercepted her, but other than that, she still needed a moment to regroup and think out her next move.
