Kumo vs Zohara

Robert Palmer's "Bad Case of Loving You"'s opening guitar blared across the arena as a kimono-covered dark-haired beauty made her way out onto the stage, followed by Dr. Love. The doctor escorted Kumo as far as the ramp before the chiropractic-accupuncture wonder turned to him and indicated for him to stay. She elegantly made her way to the ring, sliding in before getting back onto her feet. Kumo turned to face the crowd left of the ring, then the right, then the far side before turning to face up the ramp and undoing her kimono to reveal a two-piece red outfit consisting of a sports bra-type top and booty short bottoms. They were a deep red in color with a white circle located in the center of Kumo's ample chest. Centered in the circle was a pink heart with a white silhouette of the doctor's serpent cross in the center of that. A smile would cross the girl's face before she silently made her way to her corner to await her opponent.

Zohara was eager, waiting behind the curtain for her first match. Her opponent seemed to be used to the entrances by now, which made her a tad nervous. She was naturally quite outgoing though, and didn't hold too much anxiety. She'd had no preparation really, and quite uneventfully, she strode down the ramp, her entrance still needing to be worked out. Still, she was eager to get her first match, and didn't wait to enter the ring, rolling right under the bottom rope without any real gesturing. She eyed her opponent with a smile that was friendly, and mostly genuine, though there was always a bit of malice, behind her pretty face. She had the height advantage, that was starkly obvious from the moment she came out to the ring to see her opponent. Still, she didn't take her opponent any less seriously. She instantly took her corner without gesturing, adorned in her fairly unusual clothing; most of which was leather. Her rather revealing, brown-leather top displayed her perky bust and trim stomach. Her pants were a olive green, and hugged her shapely rear and slim legs tightly. She hadn't bothered tying her flowing read hair back, she never did in the past, and she was trying to treat this like another match at a camp. As they announced her name, she bowed slightly, still shocked by the size of the arena and the crowd.
"I do hope we have a good match" she said, to her opponent, her accent made itself clear. She could tell her opponent was capable, and anticipated the first test of her skills.

The truth, in all honesty, was that this was Kumo's second match for AFW, the first on her own. Her confidence shown by her entrance and her mannerisms as she was in the ring came from her experience on the independent circuits and her martial-arts discipline.

Her eyes surveyed the gypsy that had strode down the ramp. She couldn't help but look at the outfit Zohara was wearing and feel as though her own choice was less revealing, although it really wasn't much better. The thing that did intrigue her was the flowing red hair of her opponent. She was used to these white women all tying their hair back or at least adorning it with something to keep it in place in these standard matches. Maybe that was just the independents.

Kumo couldn't help but feel a bit dwarfed by the nearly 6' opponent, but that didn't deter her confidence in her own skills. She knew she could have the red-head wrapped up in some hold and tapping. She smiled when Zohara spoke, nodding in response, "Yes...I hope we do.." Now all that was really left was for the bell to ring. When it did, Kumo would move to the center and crouch a bit to circle the gypsy and await to see what she had planned.

Zohara looked on at her opponent, taking in a good amount of detail. She hadn't come across and women of Asian descent until she came here. She found them to have an exotic beauty, but it held no bearing on how she'd go about the match. Her opponent was a good 5" shorter, Zohara counted on that as a major reach advantage, her opponent. She couldn't tell much else, like who'd be stronger. Zohara seldom needed strength anyways, she was quick and would rely on that.

The bell rang not long after, and Zohara assumed her usual stance, both hands up. Zohara followed the circling pattern with her opponent for a moment. She wanted a gauge of Kumo's strength, so she started off the match a fairly standard way, showing that she wanted to lock hands. If Kumo went for it she'd simply get a reading on her, and then try to throw her off guard with a swift monkey flip, wanting to flaunt her speed.

Kumo kept her eyes focused on they equally beautiful Zohara as they circled each other, waiting to see what the gypsy had planned for their first move of the match. Seeing the set of hands raised up and out for a challenge of a test of strength, the smaller girl reluctantly approached and interlocked her fingers with Zohara's, not expecting this to be much of a strength-based match, at least not for herself.

The busty Asian was expecting Zohara to show off the leverage and strength that she had over her, but she was not prepared for the monkey flip that sent her through the air as her opponent fell backwards, followed by a thud as the raven-haired girl bounced off the mat on her back. This was not how she wanted the match to start out...

Zohara knew the tactic of deception well. It showed quite well in that maneuver. She seldom went out of her way to do serious damage to anyone, but she certainly wasn't above taking advantage of confusion. She smiled as her move worked, Zohara's repertoire of moves were comprised mostly of those which were fast and light, but any time her opponent was on the mat she got much more technical. Zohara waited for her opponent to stand though, she needed to be worn down before anything, and that would take time. Zohara never rushed a match.

The minute Kumo would stand, Zohara would try to follow up with a quick hip toss, if Kumo was unable to stop her or was underprepared.

To say Kumo wasn't frustrated with the first move of the match would be wrong. She was rather peeved, but mostly at herself. She noticed that she had little impedance getting to her feet, although it was obvious that Zohara wasn't going to give her much room.

It was now or never that she had to show this gypsy that she was just as quick on her feet after that embarrassing flip. As Zohara went to toss Kumo, she would maneuver her foot to hook around the Gypsy's to stop the actual toss. If she managed to do so, then Kumo would follow up with a quick shift behind the red-head to wrap her arms around the girl's waist. If all went according to plan, she would try for a quick roll-up by dropping to the mat while hooking her arm between the Gypsy's legs to bring her onto her back.

Naturally, Zohara had put a lot of confidence in the move. When she couldn't quite execute it, she panicked, not quite knowing where to go from the reversal. Her opponent was likely just as quick, as she had surprised the red-headed combatant greatly. As she found the momentum sending her down to the mat she began to squirm, knowing that her opponent was rather sneaky as well. As quickly as she touched the mat, she would try to fling Kumo off with a rocking motion and a quick swing of her legs. If that worked out she'd just pull herself up and prepare to meet Kumo again. She could already tell she had competition on her hands, that was what had drawn her here, and Kumo was the first object in her path, a very good introduction, given the quick testing of the waters she'd just had.

Kumo had not expected to get even a 1 count so early on in the match. Although it would have been nice. She found herself flying forwards and landing on her feet, stumbling into the ropes to catch her momentum. She would quickly turn about to see Zohara making her way to her feet, a smile coming across her face. "Thank god I didn't get one of those prissy, weak pushovers they only let do Hentai matches.." She said only loud enough for Zohara to hear. It was meant to show respect, although it may come off as a bit high-and-mighty.

She would continue smiling as she slowly re-approached Zohara, putting her hands up as if to challenge for another go-around.

Zohara was all to eager, that first exchange already showed that this was very much a fair fight. At her opponents words she smiled widely. Her opponent seemed to acknowledge Zoahara's talent, as she had Kumo's. "Hmph... They're little more than a novelty." Zohara spoke, her smile gave way a bit, letting a more focused face, licking her full lips lightly. She thirsted for the competition that Kumo seemed to offer. She raised her hands as well, circling her opponent in a predatory manner. "Let's show these people a true match." she sounded gleeful about it, her accented voice escaped her lips just as she would close in for another lock-up.
