Terrible Tables! Akashi Tanikaze Vs. Bullet Ant

Bullet Ant wasn't ready to have this ended so quickly. Especially after she just brawled to save herself a bit earlier, now she was stuck in a worse position. Laid out on the table with the sumo calling for the end.

Not exactly sure of what to do, the masked grappler tried to get her self off the table, deliberately slipping off as Akashi pulled her up but to no avail. The ex-champ was too strong to let her slip through her clutches. A point only intensified as she was pulled into the bearhug, a mixture of pain from having her back crushed, panic from how precarious her situation was

Survival instinct kicked in. She had seen enough of Akashi's matches to know just how bad her position was. She had so many ways to put the Ant through the table like this, she needed to get out now. Before their heads could press up, the Ant fired hers forward for a headbutt to try and stun her powerful opponent. A mix of boxing her ears, forearm shots, elbows and even to what would probably be her regret later, a gouge to Akashi's eyes. All so she could slip free and drop off the table, hoping to put off her own defeat for a bit longer "said I wasn't giving up." She groaned out from wherever her assault had got her. If she still could.

Akashi thought she had Ant right where she wanted her as she held her tightly. But then Akashi was hit with another heabutt, causing tears to well up in her eyes. and blood to spurt out from her nose again. She let out a grunt of pain and was stunned, further so by the boxing of her ears The shots only staggered her and by the time the eye gouge hit, she was falling off of the table where she fell hard on her back, clutching her eyes and stamping her foot against the mat. Her face felt like it was on fire, her nose had been hit so many times in this match, that she could barely even think straight. it felt like it might be broken and as pissed off as she was, all she could do was lay there and groan in pain for the moment.

lood splattered against the Ant's mask as she struggled before stumbling free, dropping off the table and barely able to hold herself up, leaning on the table for support as she tried to wipe the sumo's blood off her mask so she could see something more than red.

Maybe she had taken it to far with how Akashi was faring, the eye poke wasn't the right thing to do and the whole reason she had donned the mask was to avoid falling back into old habits like this. Even if it was just to save herself. Can't let up now, she'd probably be more pissed if I backed out. the masked grappler rationalized before staggering to where the former champ landed. "...S...sorry 'Kashi..." She wheezed before trying to pull the hefty sumo to the edge of the ring. There was no hope for the Ant being able to lift up that much, but if she could just get her outside, maybe then she could win.

Alkashi was barely even thinking about getting up and retaliating as much as she was screaming at herself to do it. Her nose was on fire and she just wanted to take care of it. But the fighter in her knew she had to power through it. She'd taken far worse in her career. For the moment, Akashi was lifted to her feet, though through no conscious thought of her own she was a little bit of dead weight, by the Ant and forced to the ropes.

Bullet Ant struggled under Akashi's dead weight. The normally speedy luchadora reduced to a snails pace before finally getting the sumo to the ropes now... she thought. how to get her out... the masked wrestler pondered before realizing that the sumo wasn't one for dives. If she left the ring the ex-champ would probably follow her out anyway. There was no need to try and throw her out like this. I'm an idiot. She mentally growled.

Jumping up to nail the sumo with a dropkick to the chest, she'd roll out afterwards and begin setting up a table of her own. Balencing it on the guard rail and laying it at an angle to the floor. Now all she needed was an opponent to put on it.

Akashi slumped against the ropes as Ant forced her to prop against them. One hand was on her face, holding her bleeding nose while she offered little resistance to Ant with the other.

She knew she had to shake it off and get back to business. Ant was someone she'd basically already beaten twice and if not for a few suspect shots to the same point multiple time,s Akashi was sure she'd have put away the masked girl by now.

But as she shook her head and looked up, she saw Ant's feet coming towards her and she grunted as she toppled over the ropes and landed with a thud against the ground, barely even moving after she hit. She groaned as she laid in a pile not even stirring.

Bullet Ant breathed a sigh of relief as Akashi laid down in the pile on the floor. "Not much longer..." the masked wrestler thought out loud as she tried one last burst of strength to get Akashi to lay on table face up. The Ant was thinking that she should probably count her blessings, at two points Akashi had all but beaten her, with only the unorthadox win condition saving her, but that was part of the excitement of a tables match, it gave a more even playing field then fighting someone with the strength and skill of Akashi in a straight fight: a rookie (or someone pretending to be one) could fight back from the brink of defeat and win.


If she rolled Akashi on the table it was time to put her plan into action and roll back into the ring. Trying to pump up the crowd to no avail she ran against the ropes furthest from the Sumo, bounced back and jumped clear of the top rope, hoping to put her whole body to use as she tried to senton into the former champ, maybe getting her the first win of her masked career.

Akaashi was dead weight for now but she was lifted up and left resting against the table. SHe brought her hand up to her face as she had a grimace of pain. She couldn't believe the situation she was in. Possibly a broken nose, her ears still had tears in them from the rake. She didn't even see Ant leave her.

A drop kick would probably have put Akashi through the table and sealed Ant's victory but as the former champ blinked, she saw Ant leaving through blurry eyes. She drug her arm across her face, leaving it coated with slimy tears and blood. She blinked again seeing Ant try and pump the crowd up. Her teeth clenched tightly but she still didn't have much strength. Then she saw Ant Run against the furthest edge of the ring. Akashi's heart began to beat hard in her chest. She needed to sdo something but her body felt heavy.

Wait!

She thought as Ant ran towards her. She could use her heavy body and let herself relax, sliding over and falling to the ground like a sack of brick. She ust hoped it would be in time to avoid Ant's assault.

Bullet Ant stomped the mat before she jumped as high as possible, narrowly dodging the top rope as she arched her body over and spun around into the senton, unaware of the sumo's ploy, for as much as she knew, she was flying towards victory, a mid air burst of euphoria deceiving her senses into a high that would come tumbling down in a mere moment.

The crunch echoed throughout the arena, a few chunks of wood scattering into the crowd as Bullet Ant's back crashed into the table, the high-flyer's body folding in two as she lay motionless in her unnatural position, only the faintest twitch being the hint that the girl hadn't just flat out killed herself off her dive.

The crowd roared as Ant sailed through the table and crumbled into a heap. Akashi felt the pressure of Ant's weight on top of her and groaned. She pushed herself off and crawled away. This wouldn't do at all. She stood up and rubbed her head and looked back. She'd have to put Ant through a table as well. She wasn't feeling in very good condition to do that so she had to figure out a better way. She reached under the ring and pulled out the table. She then looked back at Ant as she began to drag it towards the fallen insectoid.
