Haruka vs Toshio, Fall of an Amazon

Haruka fell to hands and knees from the effort but would slowly try to get back up to her feet, her bad leg still quivering a bit.

Slowly, Toshio rolled up to his knees as well, eying Haruka warily. Still wincing a little from the hit to his abs, he nonetheless stood back up, backing away a little to let her get back up to her feet.

As Haruka saw Toshio rise she would suddenly kick her bad leg up trying to nail him in the head.

Although Toshio was still in better shape than Haruka, the kick caught him by surprise as Haruka's heel glanced across his temple. "AGH!" he gasped as his head snapped to the side, causing him to fall to his knees clutching his head.

Her leg stung a bit from delivering that kick and she limped back slightly but Haruka was staritng to feel some faith. Was she turning things around here?

Toshio blinked furiously as he tried to clear his head. He was not going to allow himself to be dazed like this in the centre of the ring, not when Haruka could still turn things around. Glancing back, he saw Haruka stumbling back slightly, still bothered by that leg of hers.

From where he was, Toshio would try to rotate his lower body and kick back, aiming a sudden strike at her midsection. The kick would be inexpertly done-- striking attacks were more Kyo and Makie's thing than his-- but he was still hoping to take Haruka by surprise. If he missed, then he would still roll into a sitting position and jump back up to his feet.

Haruka went to lift her knee to block but made the mistake of using her bad leg. She winced as Toshio's low kick nailed her and started to fall to the ground.

Noting that he had accidentally hit Haruka in her bad leg, Toshio winced a little, knowing how much that must have hurt. He had been hoping to avoid hitting Haruka's bad leg, but he hadn't expected her to try blocking with it. Its her mistake, not mine, he told himself as he jumped back to his feet.

"Ooooh, that hurt?" he taunted. "Here, let me take your mind off it...and off a lot of other things!" So saying, he ran forwards, aiming to snag an arm around Haruka's head and bulldog her hard to the mat.

Haruka was on one knee holding her leg with gritted teeth. Toshio would be able to easily headlock her and then setb her up for the big running bulldog laying ehr out groaning on the mat.

Relieved to be back in control of the match, Toshio pushed against Haruka's bronzed form, rolling her over onto her back and dropping across her for the pin. Almost as though to taunt her, he lay on his side against her, leaning casually on one arm as he posed to the crowd.
