Haruka vs Toshio, Fall of an Amazon

Haruka stood up and backed away a bit as Toshio tried to force himself up. As he knelt there on hands and knees favoring his ribs, she finally went to lift one of her feet in the air as she stood above him and attempt to aim an axe kick down at his back though not aiming where he was favoring his injury.

Toshio was just about to push himself upright when Haruka's booted heel suddenly came slamming down on the small of his back. "UGH!" The blow was enough to knock him down a little further, forcing him down onto his knees and elbows as his breathing became a little more laboured. This match was still fairly young, and he was already in big trouble.

"D..damn, you're tough," he managed to say.

Haruka would not respond and just regard him cooly with hands on her waist. She would then come forward with a knee attempt that was intended only to be hard enough to knock him on his back. If this was done, haruka intended to throw herself across his chest for a peremptory pin attempt.

Even if Toshio hadn't been hurting from several direct hits, he still wouldn't have been fast enough to avoid the sudden knee to his side. The blow sent him rolling over onto his back, where he lay dazed, his chest rising and falling as he tried to recover his wits and his strength.

The next thing he knew, however, the blonde-haired Senshi was suddenly lying across his chest, her body pressing closely against his as she covered him for the pin. Despite himself, Toshio found himself blushing.

He immediately tried to take his mind off of Haruka. Kyo's the one with a crush on her, not me. Man, is that why I haven't been trash talking her as much this time around? Maybe I--

"One..." he heard the ref shout. Gritting his teeth, he twisted his lower body, barely getting a shoulder up. Damn it, I need to get my head back in the match! Otherwise, I'll lose for sure!

Haruka would jerk up to one knee as Toshio twisted to escape from the pin. She would reach for his hair.

"You still got some fight left in you. Good."

Her tone was slightly condescending as if though she was still expecting more out of him. From there she would be trying to pull him back to his feet.

"Nnngh..." was Toshio's only reply as Haruka grabbed him by the hair. His scalp burned as he was pulled up to his feet, staggering upright as Haruka dragged him up. Almost instinctively, he grabbed at her wrists, trying to pry her hands loose.

His chest hurt like hell, and he was still feeling sore from all of her body shots, but somehow, he had the presence of mind to ball a fist and send a hard punch into Haruka's abs.

Toshio would be able to grab her hand to get his hair loose and then his fist would smash into ehr body. Haruka winced and grunted perhaps giving Toshio a chance to turn things around here.

Feeling Haruka wince from his punch, Toshio realized he had a chance to turn things around now. Letting go of the former Senshi's wrists, Tosho made to wrap his arms around his opponent's waist. If he was successful, then he would drop back sharply to slam Haruka's upper body against the mat, hopefully stunning her.

Haruka lifted right off ehr feet by the brawny young man and would crash into the mat, her face twisting in shock and pain. She rolled over and groaned a bit trying to pick herself up.

Pulling himself back up to his feet, Toshio smiled a little, grateful to be back in control for once. Haruka had already proven that she wasn't someone to be underestimated, so he wasn't going to let up on her. If Kyo had a problem with that, then tough.

Seeing Haruka picking herself up, Toshio ran towards her, grabbing at her arm to pull her with him as he ran towards the ropes. If this was successful, he would run up to the middle rope and spring off, using his momentum to slingshot Haruka over him onto her back or front. "This is your captain speaking," he exclaimed as he ran up to the ropes, "thank you for using Akamatsu Airlines, and enjoy your flight!"
