History: Not much is known about Raya. All that is known is that she was found by a farmer in a wheat field, wounded and covered in blood. What convinced the farmer to nurse her back to health were her tears and pleas for help; the very essence of innocence. He named her Raya while in his care because she couldn't remember her previous name. Unfortunately, the farmer could not keep her away from the public eye for long, and was taken away by the Ukranian government where she was put through a series of tests, trying to understand how she mutated and who she was.

Both of their questions were not answered. Raya knew she was once a human, but she could only remember bits and pieces of her life, most of which took place in a glass tank. It is assumed that she is the result of a fusion between velociraptor and human DNA. Still curious, they kept her for research purposes, but Raya managed to escape from the area. She disappeared without a trace, and somehow ended up in Japan. Raya was without a home or job, so she applied for membership in the AFW. Perhaps she could find people like her in this league. As for the Ukranian government, they reluctantly left Raya to her new life, afraid of getting mixed up in the unlawful acts that gave birth to the hybrid.
