Match Rules:
Texas Hogtie Love Affair! To win, the victor must secure her opponent in a 'hogtied' position. To clarify, the cowgirl is considered hogtied when she is on her stomach or side, hands bound behind her back, her feet tied together with knees bent back towards the head and then both hands and feet are tied together. Lengths of rope will be found draped across the top turnbuckle of every corner.

As Bambee's 'I'm a Cowgirl' began to play, Tiffany came out onto the top of the ramp. Clothed in a her usual wrestling attire, the cowgirl made her way down to the ring, smiling to the crowd. Climbing up the apron then into the ring, she took her hat off, throwing it into the crowd as they cheered. Although having been defeated by AFW champion Akashi Tanikaze a week earlier, the Texan was in high spirits, smiling and waving to the crowd. Taking her place in a far corner, Tiffany settled there, waiting for her opponent to come down to the ring.
*Dixie Clements.* she thought to herself. *She was famous in Rumble Roses when I was wrestling in small house shows in Texas. Hell, I used to dream about having a match with her in a big event. When she got into the AFW, I wondered if that Sellers woman would ever make us face off. Heh, took her long enough. Even if the rules for this match are a little off. Hogtying someone? A strap or bullrope match wasn't enough, eh Cassandra?*

While Tiffany was making her entrance, Dixie was backstage, finishing slipping on her outfit and looking herself over in the mirror, making sure each lace was secure, each bit of the outfit she wore was fitting nice and snug. She raised her arms up, flexing at herself, admiring her own strong, fit form, feeling a rush of confidence run through her body.

She had done well, since her return to the AFW. Two matches, two difficult, challenging oppoents, and Dixie had come out on top against both of them. The reaction of not only her fans, but the AFW's audience in general had been fantastic. Her return was met with wild cheers and lots of love from the viewers, and that's why she was here, tonight, getting ready to fight at Avalanche.

Heh, pay-per-view already? I almost feel honored, or somethin'...

Dixie gave herself one last look in the mirror, winking at her reflection before turning to go, heading out into the hall and towards the entrance to the main arena. Her heart began to race, as she began to think about her oppoonent tonight. Tiffany Laurence, the most well known and probably most popular cowgirl in the AFW, one who was involved in a race for the top of the rankings list for the AFW's main title. She had heard about Tiffany before her time off, and even more about her fellow Texan upon her return. She knew there was a ton of people wanting this match between the two of them, wanting to see just which of the two powerhouse blondes would come out on top between each other. Not just fans and AFW viewers, but many of the other girls backstage wanted this match to go down, wanted to see what would come of it.

There was a lot riding on this match, not just Dixie's pride, both her honor and her standings among the other girls. Whichever of the two cowgirls lost this, well...it went without saying, really.

Dixie stopped right before hitting the entrance to the arena, pausing to listen to the crowd as their cheers for Tiffany began to die down.

Big reaction...girl's more popular than I thought....

She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath as she readied herself to head out onto the entrance ramp. She had never actually met Tiffany in person. She had seen several of her matches, sure, and heard more than she'd like about her, but this would be their first meeting. Dixie had done her research though, she wasn't just some dumb blonde. She knew Tiffany had a slight size advantage on her, and favored many of the powerful moves she used. Dixie figured, the first blows of this match would be the most important. Whichever of them could start wearing down the other first, would probably come out on top.

Then again....ugh. She wasn't sure how she felt about the fact it was a 'hogtie' match. Fitting, sure, but at the same time, whichever of the two lost this would be utterly humiliated, embarassed in front of thousand of viewers.

Nothing to worry about...ain't like she's gonna pull that off on me....

Dixie finally opened her eyes and grinned again, the three-count-cowgirl shaking off her slight nervousness, nodding to the nearby technician, who flipped the switch for her entrance music. As the first notes of Yankee Rose began to play, Dixie rushed through the arena's entrance and onto the top of the ramp, signalling to the crowd as she exploded into sight and thrusting a confident fist up into the air. Then, she looked down the ramp towards the ring, eyeing Tiffany from afar. Closing one eye, she raised up one of her arms, pointing her hand towards her fellow cowgirl, with her forefinger and thumb sticking out, making an obvious gun with her fingers. She winked down towards Tiffany, and said a single word as she posed there atop the ramp, knowing both the crowd and Tiffany would know her intentions by the gesture.

"Bang..."

The words to an old song rose in Tiffany's mind as Dixie made her gesture.
*'She shot me down...bang bang..* she thought to herself. *Well, we'll see how that goes, darlin.*
Standing in one of the corners, she turned and ran her fingers across the length of rope that was draped on the turnbuckle. Turning back she watched Dixie make the rest of her entrance.
When the music died down and the two cowgirls were able to hear each other, she came out of the corner walking towards Dixie.
"Well, well, Dixie Clements..." Tiffany said. "Us meeting has been a long time coming."
With a wry grin, she extended a hand to her fellow Texan.

Dixie lowered her arm and began her long walk down the entrance ramp. Never once did her eyes leave Tiffany's own, never once did her cool, calm smile drop from her face. She made her way to the ring steps, and slowly climbed up each one, stepping onto the apron and slipping through the ropes, striding right up to her fellow cowgirl as she came forth to meet her.

She glanced down at Tiffany's hand for a moment, then back up to her face, her smile widening into a grin as she accepted her handshake, giving Tiffany's hair a firm, powerful squeeze. "Heh, it has..." she replied gently, staring deep into Tiffany's eyes. This close up, she could tell even more so than before that Tiffany was going to be a tough fight.

Still, she wouldn't want it any other way.

Tiffany released Dixie's hand after their handshake, then stepped back a few steps to await the starting bell, a wry grin on her face. When that happened, the Texan circled to the left for a moment before deciding to try and go for a lock up. She knew Dixie's reputation and confidence was based a lot on her strength, so she wondered if she could rattle her fellow Texan if she could gain the upper hand in a test of strength. If Dixie went for the lock up, Tiffany would strain and push against the other cowgirl, looking to push her back into a corner

Perhaps unfortunately for Tiffany, Dixie had a quite similar idea in her head. She lunged in for a lock up at the same moment her opponent did, accepting it head on and trying to push back against her fellow cowgirl, trying to pick up the advantage and push Tiffany back instead!

Both girls heaved and strained against each other, and it seemed for the moment they physically equal. After a few long moments of struggling against Dixie, Tiffany decided that maybe she'd have to try and change tactics.
She would twist while taking a step to the side, and hope that Dixie's continued momentum would take her off balance enough for Tiffany to try a hip toss and send Dixie back first to the mat.

Dixie was focused on the lock up, damned and determined to get the early advantage against Tiffany. Too focused, in fact, and as she strained against the other blonde, Tiffany's gambit would succeed. Dixie went stumbling forwards, and go tumbling towards the mat via the simple hip toss. She grunted up at Tiffany, more annoyed than anything, as she quickly rolled over and started to get back up, not wanting to stay down for long.

Tiffany seemed to be in no rush to press the attack, in fact taking a step back to let Dixie regain her feet.
"Well, darlin? Have a little bit of a slip and fall there?" she asked as if nothing was wrong.
With that, Tiffany would circle again, waiting to see what Dixie would try...
