Magic Mia Megumi vs. Jean Grey (complete)

Mia is bounced up onto all fours above Jean as she kicks out... For a long moment she stays were she is, panting down at Jean, but eventually climbs back to her feet.

Taking a few short steps around Jean's body to reach down for her head and pull her carefully up to her feet. Once up, Mia will aim a quick knife edge chop for Jean's chest

Jean would go to block the chop, and then try to retaliate with a club to the head as it seemed she was about to trade blows with Mia.

The crowd let out a sympathetic "OWW!!" as the club hit solidly with a thud, making Mia recall and spin to one side as she held the side of her face. Clenching her teeth and a little annoyed that once again Jean had used a fairly vicious attack, she came back and tried to drive her forearm and elbow right into Jean's upper chest

Jean hit in the midsection and bows slightly from the impact. Her mouth formed an "o" as she exhaled from the force of that hit and to sell it. Then she would try to retaliate with a backhand aimed at the chin that might make Mia's head snap back if it hit hard enough.

(OOC: Just arriving.)

"Osoi, osoi," Yatori muttered to herself as she went through the double door leading to the ringside seats. The crowd's roars told her the match was well underway.

Mia had told her about her match with Jean right after being invited. Yatori immediately seized the opportunity to attend a match featuring her lover and her new friend.

Unfortunately, traffic had been surprisingly heavy. The eager Yatori would have run to the AFW arena, but Damian forbade her to go on her own on foot. So she fairly cheered when at last they pulled into a reserved parking slot.

Now she made her way to her reserved front row seat. She got there in time to see Mia and Jean exchanging blows.

"Ow," she winced aloud. Yatori was unable to understand why people would like to strike each other. What was wrong with chokes and holds?

Though the audience's collective noise easily drowned her out, she still added her "Go, Mia-chan! Go, Jean!" call to the hubbub, as she sat down at last.

Indeed Mia wouldn't normally go for strikes, but Jean's heated competitive heart on this occasion had engaged it. The last strike snapped Mia head back with a throaty "Unhh.." She swung her arms out a bit, almost falling backwards completely off her feet as she stumbled backwards all the way to the ropes which she grabbed ahold of. Shaking her head a little stunned...

Jean would go up to Mia and now try to wrap her arms up in the ropes.

Mia was pretty stunned, groaning as she felt Jean's pressing the front of her body up against her to hold her in place as she wrapped her arms up in the top ropes.. Shaking her head a bit, Mia tried to strike her foot out in something like a cross between a shove and a javelin kick to knock Jean backwards, but her arms were already trapped

Jean smirked nastily at Mia. She would then attempt step off to the side a bit to make it hard for Mia to kick her, then she would start aiming some knife edge chops at Mia's chest. It was almost like target practice here and Jean might be able to get about 3 chops in before the force of her blows would get Mia loose from the ropes anyway.

Mia's body was rocked backwards against the ropes with each chop, her breasts wobbling with the impact as she threw her brunette hair back with the sharp sting. The chops weren't enough to loosen Mia's arms unfortunately and after about the third knife edge chop Mia body sagged down a little as she let out a groan of pain, panting so that her breast bobbed up and down... Still a completely undefended target for Jean, Mia was in trouble here..
